Extra 13: We are Pirates ~! (33)

A huge commotion began to appear in the crowd watching the execution.

Many began to curse Ace for being the son of the [Pirate King], after all, he had caused increasing chaos in the world.

Though some were shocked to see this.

"Are you going?" - Asked a black-haired woman to a middle-aged man.

"I have to, he's Roger's legacy" - Rayleigh said with a firm expression - "I'm sorry."

"No, it wouldn't be you, if you didn't do something like this" - said Shakky with a smile as she caressed her husband's cheek - "Go, I promise I'll wait for your return."

"Thank you" - murmured Rayleigh as he ran towards the sea.

"This is bad" - murmured Nami with concern as she saw Luffy's older brother, a thought that everyone in the crew watching the transmission had - "If Luffy sees this, I don't know what that idiot might do."

Nami quickly ran to the "port" of the island she was on, only to frown when she saw how there was no way to leave, at least not until the next day.

"If you can't leave, you'd better come with me" - an older man said as he looked at the girl with a smile - "I can tell you're worried about something, but there's nothing we can do for now."

Nami glanced at him before sighing regretfully and nodding.

She knew the older man was right, so she accepted his kindness.

"It's time" - said a large older man.

Despite his age, he still maintained his muscular physique and an aura of absolute dominance.

"Your brother is in danger, and as his family, we must help him" - said Edward Newgate, aka [Shirohige(Whitebeard)], the strongest man in the world - "It's time to show those guard dogs of the [World Government], that they don't have to mess with our family!"

"Hai!" - [Shirohige]'s pirates exclaimed fiercely as they rapidly approached [Marineford].

Edward Newgate narrowed his eyes as he looked in a westerly direction, only to frown as he felt an aura slowly approaching his location, only to nod when he felt a second aura appear.

"I owe you one, brat" - [Shirohige] muttered as he looked again in the direction where his son was - "Be patient, soon your father will come to save you."

"I didn't expect you to get into this battle, you red-haired bastard" - said a huge black-haired man. He had tanned skin and two long horns sticking out of his head.

"Same here, Kaido" - replied a tall red-haired man without an arm, although he was not as big as his opponent - "I never thought you would ally with those bastards who follow the [Celestial Dragons].

"I'm not going to ally with anyone, I just wished to see how strong the old man is" - replied Kaido the Beast, one of the [Yonko].

"Now that's a bad excuse" - said the red-haired man with disdain - "Why don't you say something more intelligent?"

"I don't have to say anything else, Shanks" - Kaido replied neutrally - "Now get out of my way before I decide to start a war against you."

"I'm waiting for you to do so because my men are eager to try exotic beast hunting" - Shanks said disdainfully as he began to release a bit of his aura.

Each of the 4 [Yonko], had something that made them dangerous.

In Edward Newgate's case, it was his [Akuma no Mi], the [Gura Gura no Mi], the fruit that was capable of destroying the world with just one attack.

Charlotte Linlin, aka. [Big Mom], could control weapons, and even steal the life spans of others.

Kaido possessed an almost unbreakable body and enormous strength, which is why he was called the strongest creature.

Shanks, on the other hand, had an almost unsurpassed mastery control of his [Haki], not to mention that being Mihawk's rival, his mastery with swords was not far behind, but what made him more impressive, was that unlike the other [Yonko], Shanks had reached so high without needing to use an [Akuma no Mi].

"If that's what you wish, I'm not going to refuse" - Kaido said coldly as his body began to be surrounded by blue scales - "Let's see if you can kill me."

Shanks said nothing, he just drew his sword as his body took on a dark hue - "Come on, I'll dance with you until they're done."

"ROAR!" - Kaido's roar echoed throughout the place as he extended his scaly hands in the direction of his victim.

"Dad, something is going on at the door of justice facing [Impel Down]" - said a blond man with a messy hairstyle - "And from the noise, it sounds like it's a battle."

"More brats who want glory?" - [Shirohige] thought as he frowned - "Marco, I want you to send someone to see what they want, and worst-case scenario, send them out of here."

"As you say, father" - replied Marco, the Phoenix as he ran towards the door.

When he arrived, he could only see one familiar person - "Jinbe? What are you doing here?"

"Marco?" - Jinbe said with surprise, only to sigh with relief - "It's good to see you, we came along with Ace's younger brother to save him."

"Younger brother?" - Marco muttered as he started to think - "Now that you mention it, I remember hearing that idiot say he had a younger brother far worse than him, and from what I see, he was right."

Marco wasn't lying, he did think Ace's younger brother was an idiot, though at the same time he was excited to see how someone else had that special connection they had - "Maybe I should ask him if he wants to join us?"

"I don't think you'll succeed" - Jinbe said wearily as he looked regretfully at the corpses of his companions - "He's stubborn and just wants to find the [One Piece]"

"I lose nothing by asking him" - replied Marco as he shrugged his shoulders, only for his body to start being surrounded by beautiful blue flames - "Go back, I'll take care of the rest, and tell that boy that he better leaves everything to us, he doesn't have to enter a war that could end his life."

"I'm going to tell him, but I'm sure you won't manage to convince him" - Jinbe answered while shaking his head - "I saw his look, and I can assure you that he will do the impossible to save his brother."

"If so, I will have no choice but to make him leave by force" - said Marco neutrally.

"Let's see if you can do it" - Luffy said while throwing a strong punch with his rubber fist.

"?" - Marco's eyes widened in surprise when he saw this, though he quickly tilted his head to dodge the attack.

"What are you doing here, young Luffy?" - Jinbe asked with a frown.

"I came to help you because you took too long" - Luffy replied as he looked at the blond man - "I don't know who you are, but you're not going to stop me from saving Ace."

"Listen, kid, this is dangerous, much more dangerous than you think" - Marco said seriously - "We're about to invade [Marineford] with our lives on the line, so we won't have time to try to protect you"

"I don't want you to protect me, I just want you to let me save Ace" - Luffy replied as he clenched his fists in fury - "I'm not going to let my other brother, die when I can do something to stop it!"

Marco was silent for a few seconds before nodding - "Well, I can feel the conviction of your words, you can help us and I'm going to do what I can to protect you, so I'm asking you to save Ace."

"You can count on it" - Luffy replied with a huge smile.

Marco smiled in response as he felt how this boy was very similar to his older brother despite not being related by blood.

Luffy quickly picked up Jinbe and put him over his shoulder, but not before giving a small prayer to the Gyojin who had sacrificed themselves to get the gate of justice opened.

"That boy is talented, and now I understand why Jinbe was saying he wouldn't agree to join us " - Marco muttered as he walked to the mechanism that opened the door, and broke it with utmost ease - "With this, a new force joins the battle, this fight will be much more chaotic, although that works for us because now we will have more chances to save Ace."

Marco quickly shook his head and flew out of the place, after all, this he had to report to Oyaji (Father).

"Get ready, they're just outside [Marineford]!" - Sengoku exclaimed as he felt the tension his subordinates were enduring - "Remember, this is for the honor of the Marine! We will not be defeated!"

"We will not be defeated!" - shouted the Marines as they looked ahead and noticed how countless ships were approaching swiftly.

"I have come for my son!" - Edward Newgate roared as he spread his hands.
