Extra 13: We are Pirates ~! (34)

"They're here, come on, this is the time to show them the power of the Marines to the world!" - Sengoku roared as the Marines shouted fiercely.

"Remember, this is our duty!" - Akainu exclaimed fiercely - "It is time to demonstrate our absolute justice!"

The marines again shouted with fury as they watched their opponents.

Aokiji just shook his head because it was obvious that he didn't believe in the term absolute justice, after all, nothing absolute existed in the world. There were always exceptions to the rule, and marines were no exception, which was ironic.

Donquixote Doflamingo looked earnestly at the pirate troops of [Shirohige] who were slowly approaching the shores of [Marineford].

Kuma remained silent as he watched neutrally at what was happening.

Mihawk and Kurama were watching the stronger man's crew members curiously.

Finally, Gekko Moriah was the only one who was a little nervous, all this because he was the weakest of this "select" group.

"Any way to save my ass?" - Gekko Moriah asked as he looked at the albino.

"There is, but what's in it for me to save you?" - Kurama asked as he raised an eyebrow - "Remember, you already owe me money."

"I'll work for you for a year, with that I can also pay off the debt I owe you" - replied Moriah as he gritted his teeth in irritation, after all, he wasn't happy with the idea of being anyone's subordinate.

"Let's make a contract, you will work for me for a year, and after that year you will decide if you want to continue working for me" - said Kurama while squinting his eyes - "As for what you will pay me, you will give me 1% of your income during this year, and relax, in this contract, it will be clear that I won't send you to do suicide missions or missions that attempt against the life of you or your subordinates."

Moriah was surprised to see a strange sheet of paper appear in front of him, only to wonder if this had been premeditated or not, though he quickly put these thoughts aside and set about reading the sheet as fast as he could.

After a minute of quick reading, Moriah signed the document without a second thought.

The conditions were good, not only would Kurama save him from danger during this battle, but this extended for the whole year, as long as the danger was not from his motives, such as attacking a kingdom, or something like that. Two. Kurama would sponsor any of his projects, as long as they were not morally questionable, which he honestly didn't mind because, with Kurama's help, he could create an elite force while staying "clean". The other motives were best left out of the conversation for now, after all, a war was about to begin.

"Would you mind giving me a contract as well?" - Doflamingo asked with a huge grin.

"What's in it for me if I help you too?" - Kurama asked as he narrowed his eyes.

Moriah's actions may have been morally questionable for different reasons, but there was at least some way to get him to change sides, but Doflamingo was very different.

He had not only caused far more damage than Moriah, but his actions were far less acceptable.

Manipulation, kidnapping, slavery, arms, and drug trafficking, among so many other crimes that it was hard to list, Doflamingo was better off dead than alive.

"I'll think about it" - Kurama replied as he shrugged his shoulders.

Doflamingo's expression quickly changed to an outward one as he felt his blood begin to boil, though, to everyone's surprise, he quickly regained his sanity.

Kurama had to admit that he had to respect the patience and willpower this man had, though it was the only respectable thing he had.

"Anytime you can start" - Sengoku said as he looked at the [Shichibukai] and Hancock's replacement.

"Hai Hai ~! You don't have to say it twice" - Doflamingo said as a sadistic smile appeared on his face - "At least with this I'll be able to de-stress a bit."

"I just hope there is a worthy opponent among them all" - said Mihawk as he drew his huge sword and walked calmly in the direction where his next victims were.

"Remember our deal" - said Moriah seriously as he walked behind his companions.

"I know, you don't have to say it" - said Kurama as his expression changed slightly - "It's time to show the world a bit of my power".

Slowly, he began to release a bit of his aura, causing everything [Marineford] to begin to tremble.

Sengoku watched in shock and terror at this as he noticed how the albino walked calmly over to where the strongest man in the world stood, only to sigh regretfully - "Maybe it's best to ignore this man so he doesn't come and bite us in the ass."

"That's a good idea" - Garp said seriously.

Even he had to admit that he felt his back beginning to break out in a cold sweat, he, who had faced great legends and had come out alive, was beginning to feel a deep terror for an unknown man, though he had to admit that it was a relief that he was not hostile towards them, yet he could not be sure that this would remain so in the future.

"Oyaji, that guy is a monster" - said a tall, dark, and burly black-haired man.

"I know, I can feel it too, Jozu" - said Edward [Shirohige] Newgate - "But that makes it exciting."

[Shirohige] slowly stood up as he picked up his spear - "I haven't felt this since years ago, when I was fighting Roger and Garp."

His crew members, watched with concern as their father seemed poised to walk to his death, but did nothing to stop him.

They could see the conviction and emotion in the look of their old father figure.

"Let's see what you've got, brat," [Shirohige] said as he looked closely at the albino.

"Brat?" - repeated Kurama with amusement - "Brat, I'm much older than you think, I'm over a thousand years old."

[Shirohige] didn't know what to say at this, after all, it had been years since he had last heard him called "brat", which made it wonderfully nostalgic, but what made it more surprising, was that he didn't seem to be lying.

"But well, let's save that for another time" - Kurama said as he appeared in front of the old pirate, all to the surprised looks of everyone present.

"Oyaji!" - [Shirohige] roared Ace from the podium where he was chained - "No!"

[Shirohige] quickly braced himself for the worst, but to his surprise, far from feeling pain, he felt better than ever - ". . ."

"With that, we can fight without fear" - said Kurama with a huge smile - "I eliminated that sickness that was troubling you, now come on, we have a match to fight!"

"You are a strange one" - said [Shirohige] while looking carefully at the white-haired man - "Why not take advantage of my weakness to finish the job? With your speed, you won't have any trouble"

"Because what I'm looking for isn't a battle where everyone thinks I defeated you just because you were weak" - said Kurama coolly as he spread his hands and continued to release his aura - "What I'm looking for is domination! Let everyone see what I can be capable of!"

"Domination, I understand" - [Shirohige] said as he narrowed his eyes - "I understand, I understand, I would do the same in your situation, though now that I'm as good as new, I don't think it would be so easy."

The earth began to shake with every word the old pirate said, showing that not only had his condition improved drastically, but also his power had increased considerably.

"I hope so, at least amuse me for a few minutes" - Kurama said as his body began to be surrounded by strange red energy - "Come on, let's see what the strongest man in the world is capable of".

"I want to check if you have what it takes to take the name of [Emperor]" - said [Shirohige] fiercely as he tightened his grip on the hilt of his [Naginata].

"What is that idiot doing!" - Sengoku roared as he saw how his oldest rival, was as good as new as if he had rejuvenated a few years.

"A fair battle" - replied Garp as he shook his head.

"He's jeopardizing the operation!" -roared Sengoku as he glared furiously at the white-haired man, only to feel him lose control of his emotions.

Slowly, his body was surrounded by a golden aura, showing that how he had also lost control over his [Akuma no Mi] because of the enormous rage he felt.

"Calm down, Sengoku" - said Garp seriously while looking at his old friend - "With this, we will be able to know a little better what we are facing, after all, the stronger Edward Newgate is, the more information we will get from that unknown man."

Sengoku quickly took a breath to calm himself when he heard this as he looked seriously at the two men who were about to face each other.

"You're right, and with this, we can keep [Shirohige] busy while we take care of his crew" - Sengoku said seriously.
