The Last Demon Slayer

A loud banging sound could be heard from the trunk of an old car that was parked inside an abandoned warehouse. The inhumane rocking of the car was accompanied by a muffled scream. "Shhh... Be quiet..." One said as she slowly opened the trunk and pulled the poor lady out from it. The two suspicious characters that were wearing clown masks tied the poor lady in the middle of the floor where a big pentagram was scribbled. "MSHGGSKKSSSSH!!!!" The poor lady made a desperate attempt to scream but it was to no avail. One of her assailants had the heart to remove her gag but the first thing that she asked as soon as it was removed was, "Is this a prank??? I know it was you, Cassie. That shirt is mine." As soon as she heard her name, Cassie removed her mask. "Ana, don't panic. We will just exorcise you, okay? Calm down. After all of this is done, we could just all pretend that none of this ever happened in the first place." "What?!!!!!! You're crazy, Cassie!" "NO! Look, you tried to strangle me with a belt last night. But don't worry because I don't blame you for that. You were possessed and right now we will exorcise that demon out from your body." "No-----mmmpphhhh" Before the lady named Ana could even speak another word of protest, Cassie already gagged her again with that same piece of cloth that they used before. "So what are we gonna do next?" "You have to pee on her?" "No way! I would never pee on my best friend! Jared, that's insane!" "Then let us just all forget about this whole exorcism thing then because it was clearly written here. Instruction No.1. You have to mark the subject with your own scent." Son of the Dinosaur

"Please, don't have sex with Dave Wilson. It is such a cliche. He is an emotional paraplegic."

I told Ana as soon as Dave was away. I told Aries that I am off for some smoke but the truth was I wanted to have a chat with this friend of mine.

"It's just something I got to do. It's like.... a bungee jump. You know?"

My eyes went heavenward when I heard Ana's reasoning.

"A bungee jump doesn't give you herpes."

I told her flatly.

"Maybe you should start thinking about who you are sleeping with."

"I'm not sleeping with anyone!"

I knew Ana was deliberately trying to change the topic and I won't allow that. But then before I could even start another argument, the son of the dinosaur came back.

"Hi, Dave!"

I quickly changed the topic when the man that we were talking about appeared from behind Ana.

"I like your hair, by the way."

I added afterward.

"Thanks."

Dave on the other hand mumbled his thanks.

"I've just had it cut. I'm really happy with it."

"Wow. Was this in Thailand?"

I asked back as though I really cared.

"No, they don't really have haircuts in Thailand. Have you noticed how all Asian guys basically have the same hairstyle?"

Dave probably thought that his comment was lit, but clearly, for me, it's not.

"That's hilarious."

Ana seconded Dave's words as seductive as she could. But unlike my friend who was blinded with lust at the moment, I am not buying it.

"No, it's not, It's racist, and it's not true. Do you know BTS?"

"You mean those pretty boys that look like girls?"

I fought hard not to roll my eyes when I heard that. I've heard a lot of that before, it was not new to our fandom.

"You should have seen RM's hairstyle back when they debuted. It's iconic."

It was too late for me to realize how weird of me to bring that up. Only after saying those words did the realization hit me,

'Yeah, even rap monster hated that hair.'

Besides, no one talked about their bias in front of a stranger, unless of course if they were aiming to be branded as a weirdo.

It was at that point that I realized that my presence was no longer needed so I decided to leave them be.

"I need to go to the restroom."

I said and walked out, but not before whispering next to my friend's ear.

"Enjoy your bungee jump."

As soon as I got inside the restroom, I headed straight to the sink and splashed cold water on my face.

That did the trick of making me sober again.

At this point, I was reminded of the man that I met earlier as well as the skull-faced party-goer.

I tried to forget about them and pushed it to the back of my mind. Yet that scary face kept on coming back to me. Also. I know that he was after the man who kissed me; not that I care but it was just that----

UGH! Whatever!

So here I am trying to get past the crowd of dancing and drunken people again. Against my better judgment, I followed the man outside the bar and went in the direction where I believed they headed.

I am not quite sure what had gone to me and why am I doing all of this, to begin with.

IT WAS NONE OF MY F*CKING BUSINESS!

FOR CRYING OUT LOUD, CASSIE!!!!

Perhaps it was the influence of the alcohol, or maybe it was my own curiosity that made me do it. To be honest, I could hardly tell apart which was what.

I just let my feet take me wherever it wanted to go. It seemed to know where to go, anyway; and before I knew it I found myself standing on a parking lot.
