I blinked my eyes, adjusting to my new surroundings.

I looked around me and saw the people go about their lives in what it seems to be a town.

"Here! Here! Get your fresh produce here!" a farmer from the outskirts shouted.

"Train ride up north to Magnolia! 7800 jewels! Biggest discount!"

"Dear! Where is our daughter?"

To my right was a town full of commerce and to my left was a port with a beautiful view of the sea, untainted by modern pollution.

'Incredible, this place is beautiful. Is this Hargeon?'

Hargeon was a port town located south of Magnolia.

Besides my location, I was also curious about my capabilities as Itachi Uchiha.

Well damn. I was quite overpowered. Not enough to fair against Acnologia or Zeref but for now, it was more than enough for me to be badass. Assuming that (Ribcage) means the limit of my current Susanoo, should I ever be able to perfect it, I could possibly battle Acnologia on even grounds.

Anyways, I was 12 years before the start of the main storyline which means that Cana's mother must've passed away and Cana now should still be looking for Fairy Tail. I should probably go and help her out with that and join Fairy Tail while doing so. Two birds with one stone.

Aaaand...Speak of the devil.

Sharingan activated or not, it seemed Itachi's vision was as sharp as ever.

With the hustling and bustling of the many people in Hargeon(?), it would be hard to spot a lone brown-haired girl sitting down at the edge of the sidewalk.

Cana POV

Gildarts Clive... Fairy Tail... where can I find that place...?

I sighed and continued to rest tiredly on the sidewalk before the shadow of a person loomed over me.

I looked up and saw a very nice looking black-haired gentleman. His hair was in a cool ponytail.

His deep dark eyes were very nice to look at!

"H-Hi, Mister, h-how can I help you?" I said a bit shy.

He smiled kindly towards me and asked a question himself.

"Little Miss, you seem lost, where are you looking to head towards to?"

I answered without hesitation.

"Fairy Tail! My mom said that dad would be there!"

He nodded in understanding.

"I'm also hoping to join Fairy Tail to register as a magician myself. Care to come along?"

I stood up immediately, showing clear excitement and relief on my face.

"Really?! I can go see my dad?! Thank you, kind Mister! I have been looking for Fairy Tail for so long!"

As I was hopping around in excitement to come close and hug him as thanks, he reached out with two fingers and poked my forehead, immediately stopping my advance. I rubbed the spot with both my hands in confusion. Why would he do that?

"Little Miss, while it is good to be excited and truly wish to get to your destination, you must be wary of how you do it. You had no reason to trust me and yet you did so anyway. What if I was an evil magician that experimented on children, could you trust me then?"

It was then I realized that I trusted a stranger for no reason other than he said he could help me.

I immediately backed away in fear. What was he going to do to me?

"A-Are you an evil magician?" I asked with a shaky voice.

The black-haired stranger chuckled before smiling kindly.

"If I was, would I even bother to make you wary of me? I just simply wanted to teach you a lesson, dear little Miss."

Ah, that's right. That made sense.

Well, if what he said was true then-

"Ah, do not worry. There is public train transportation to Magnolia where the Fairy Tail guild hall is established. Nothing will happen to you but if you wish to remain cautious, then that will be fine as well. A magician should always be cautious."

I did not understand much of what he said but he seemed trustworthy enough to help me out and bother explaining things to me so I guess it's ok.

The kind black-haired gentleman seemed to be able to read what I was thinking about and shook his head in amusement.

"You will understand as you grow older," he said simply.

I nodded as if I understood.

And that was how I met the Elusive Eyes of Fairy Tail and how this kind and cool stranger brought me to my future home at Fairy Tail.
