As I had expected, even if chakra did not flow through the victims of genjutsu, my genjutsu still worked.
I obviously just started off in this world with nothing to my name yet so what else could I do but use genjutsu to let Cana and I ride the train to Magnolia?

And here we are, at the entrance to Fairy Tail.
Fairy Tail's first headquarters resided in an imposing building consisting of three floors and incorporating several architectonic styles: it took on a shape reminiscent of a pagoda, with each floor being smaller than the one below it and sitting on the latter's roof.
On the highest roof, topping the summit of the building, sat a simple, round, and pointed dome, highly reminiscent of those seen on Arabian buildings, which bore a flag on its point.
The roof below the one with the dome, the middle one, housed a large banner with Fairy Tail's symbol on it, held up by a pair of vertical poles.
The building's large entrance was again Arabian in design, with its shape being reminiscent of that of the dome on the summit, and above it was the guild's name, topped by a protruding, stylized heart shape and flanked by a pair of carved fairies.
Stylized heart shapes were also visible on the frames of the numerous, large pentagonal windows located on each floor, with the top floor housing smaller, arched windows partially covered by banners.
The large entrance was wide open, revealing a lively guildhall with members drinking, fighting, and just generally having a good time.

Makarov POV
I had my eyes closed as I sat on top of the bar and drunk my beer, enjoying the presence of my children.
It was then I felt a shockingly large magical energy signature nearing the guild alongside a much smaller signal.
One had the power of an S-Class magician no doubt and the other had the potential to be a powerful magician in their own right.
I felt no ill intent behind their magical energy so I simply let them continue their way to Fairy Tail.
And to my surprise, the constantly troublemaking and wild guild quiet down as soon as those two stepped in through the entrance.
They must've sensed his power as well. What was even more shocking was that he looked 15 or 16. How talented was he?
The boy that looked 15 or 16 was the one with power comparable to an S-Class Mage. He had jet-black hair that was pulled back in a low ponytail and dark black eyes. His outfit was a simple black shirt and pants. He wore black sandals and had bandages around his ankles.
The little girl on his left looked 6 years of age with brown hair and was hiding behind the older one's leg shyly and looked around the building, seemingly searching for someone.
The boy noticed the attention he garnered and immediately introduced himself and the girl.
"I am Itachi Uchiha and this girl behind me is Cana, we were wondering if Fairy Tail was open to new members?"
A few of my children looked towards me, expecting an answer.
I hopped off my barstool and walked towards the two.
"I am Makarov, the third master of Fairy Tail. Our guild accepts any members that have a kind and righteous heart and those who will do anything for their friends and family."
Glancing at the two and how close they seemed, I knew they would pass the requirement with no problem.
"And you two seem to have understood that already so just follow me and we'll get you situated into the guild," I said with a kind and welcoming smile.
As soon as that was said, someone yelled,
"Let's throw a party for our new members! Itachi and Cana!"
"Yeah!"

Itachi and I were in my office. I was curious about his past and wished to know as much as I could. All within reason of course. His magical capacity was insane for a boy his age.
"Itachi my boy, if it is alright with you, may I know why you and Cana have come to Fairy Tail?"
As if expecting my question, he smiled and said,
"To find family."
And that was all that needed to be said.
When the time is right, I'm sure Itachi will tell me everything.
