Supreme Gods Memories within a Cultivation World

On an average overcast afternoon in England lays a guy, in bed, in the middle of waking up after a late-night reading session. It's 4pm and he is currently contemplating what life is right now after reading an email on his phone.

This is David, he is an average guy who hasn't got much going for him. He has no life goals and no career piques his interest enough to motivate him. He is currently a university student who is studying how to make games as he likes playing them and found out that game developers can make quite a lot of money doing something they enjoy. As such he is learning to make games at the scam that is called university.

David has just woken up, and like usual checks his phone, only to see a single email from his university stating that his next university accommodation rent will be due soon.

'damn, how can they do this. I don't even live at the accommodation due to Covid-19, how can they still charge me rent, and even full price at that. Such a scam' thinks David as he puts his phone back down.

He slowly rubs his groggy eyes and bits of eye crust fall out of the corners. But just as he starts getting out of bed, he notices something weird.

'why is there no noise?'

David right now was in a situation where there was no noise, no cars, no birds. Nothing. Normally he would wake up to birds chirping, cars zooming by and children screaming in the park as they play (separated from others of course, lockdown rules). Not even the duvet he just moved made noise.

David is confused for a second but then just shrugs it off to him being tired and zoning out the sound. He starts to stand up as his vision is becoming clearer and clearer and his eyes start adjusting to the light, but then all of a sudden, his vison starts getting blurry, and not the normal kind of blurry when tired but a weird blurry.

'What the fuck's going on? Why is my body being so weird today?'

As his vision is getting more clouded, he decides to sit back down, but as he does, he loses strength in his body and flops down onto his bed. He loses all feeling in his body, by this time he starts to panic knowing something is wrong but weirdly he is quite calm. Even he himself doesn't understand why he is both calm and panicked by this scene but after spending what feels like to him an eternity thinking about it, he just thinks.

'well at least I can see if those novels are right if I die'.

And with this last thought his vision went blank and his mind in a state of eternal nothing.

On a planet of unimaginable size, lies a small island populated with beasts, people and nature.

It was on this island that the heavens itself found something to be afraid of. A skinny young man. He looks very pale and malnourished, and see through like skin clearly showing his blood vessels, but even in this condition one can see what a heaven defying handsome person he would have been. If not for his current looks one would expect a soothing aura around him, as if looking at the heavens itself but instead, the aura around him was an extreme cold, a coldness forming an imaginary cloaked figure that looked like it crawled out of hell specifically for him. This was a clear sign that he was dying and that the heavens had allowed death itself to crawl from the afterlife to make sure that after death his soul would be devoured, and never given the opportunity to touch the cycle of reincarnation.

Just as this young man died, a translucent blue gaseous cloud slowly started drifting out from the body. This was a soul, the soul of a mortal with no cultivation, and the moment a soul leaves its body it will then float to heaven or sink to hell and then have the chance to touch upon the cycle of reincarnation.

The soul just floated in place, neither rising nor sinking, which is weird because if it does not rise then they will sink to hell due to their sins, but this soul is clearly sin free due to its pure blue colour, so why is it not rising to heaven. Well, this is because the heavens don't want the soul. Instead the cold starts moving towards the soul, as if its trying to engulf it whole.

The cold aura splits and many hands start forming from the aura, reaching for the lost soul, trying to trap it to be devoured. As cold death gets closer the soul slowly starts losing its brightness and a small stream of blue light is entering into the cold, only to disappear. The cold was like a black hole slowly devouring the soul and turning it into nothing.

The soul is now half gone and what little consciousness was left within the soul, causing it to struggle, has already been devoured. By this time the cold was right next to the soul, and it slowly opens its maws only to reveal eternal darkness and looked like it will swallow the rest of the soul whole.

Within the maws of death was eternal nothing, until a small white light started getting bigger and bigger, then all of a sudden a glowing white soul flew out of deaths mouth, and as if desperately hungry it pounced at the blue soul and instantly the blue soul got sucked into the white soul. Then the wild white soul just stopped and drifted down, until it eventually hit the newly dead mans body. As they touched the white soul started to assimilate itself into the body.

Death was furious, the heavens had finally allowed it out of its cage to devour a special soul, but then something took its prey away from him. He let out an angry screech, coldness rose from the earth, the previously clear weather turned frosty. Deaths cry was heard by no one, no one but the heavens and the underworld.

And just as fast as death appeared in the cold aura, death left without a trace. The cold and death like aura around the body quickly receded back into the depts of hell as the previously frozen heart started to come to life.

"thump, thump"

And like this the cold stiff body started to warm up, like an old engine that got new parts, everything started to catch up, with the heart being the ignition.

And like this, without anyone knowing, a new soul was now occupying the young mans body and the heavens where not happy. A sudden raging clap of thunder descended and torrential rain started pouring, covering all the planet.

This was a sign, a sign that someone had defied the heavens.

And now this was the new souls beginning, from leaping within deaths mouth and into its new body, its journey had just begun.
