Leaving Breakfast

The next day he continued practicing alchemy, while having some of his servants go and make preparations with his buisnesses for when he leaves. After all without him there his buisnesses would struggle, since all the items come from his internal world.

What he is preparing is that in each city, town and village there be a drop off point that is constantly ready for him should he arrive there, and it have an updated list of items needed. Obviously, he also plans to drop off enough to last months, but those would be stockpiled for times he is training deep in woods or is unable to make it to a drop off point for an extended period of time.

He also needs to sort out the remaining stragglers within the empire from left over noble houses or underground groups. He doesn't want anyone making trouble while he isn't here after all.

Continuing from nobody making trouble he also needs to take a few days to increase security as in some of the novels he read. When the main character leaves for their adventure something sometimes happens to his home. Sometimes its demons, enemy empires/kingdoms, arrogant mainlanders, and many other situations.

He is making preparations to at least hold off any possibility till he can return, and if possible, completely stop anything like that. Ways he is doing this is using his guild to collect information about demons popping up or weird stuff happening in danger zones, all the noble houses under him sending their hidden experts to safe guard the capital or even be sacrificial lambs. He even had some really evil people be altered to look like his family and had them stationed so they can impersonate them in case his family needs to run.

There where many other things as well but they are more normal things like defences, watch towers, etc.

1 week later most of the preparations he wanted done are either finished or no longer need him around to get done. He spent most of this time practicing his profession skills like alchemy, refining, etc. He managed to just make it to late rank 1, and is nearly at rank 2 in the easier ones such as alchemy and refining.

Himself and his whole family woke up extra early today and they all met for breakfast. With the candles lit due to the dark sky, they stated to eat. Unlike normal there were more people in the room, mostly with a few extra people standing behind him.

They where each extremely beautiful woman with veils covering their face and each wearing a different colour robe. Each robe was loosely based off maid clothes but only those who knew his type of maid clothes he had his maids where would notice.

These women where his girlfriend's/maids within his harem. The first was Yan Yin who was standing in the middle, looking like the leader of the group. She was in a classic white and black robe, with some frills and sexy black stockings.

Next was Xuan Huo who was small and petite, in a pink and white robe with a radiant smile on her face, calming everyone who saw it. Her black hair contrasted well with her clothes and outlined its silkiness.

Sing Wei was dressed in all black, with fish net stockings underneath her robe, with only the fish net neat her calves visible. Her ruby like red hair and large assets are outlined even more in the tight black robe, and the fishnet stockings make her radiate a mature feeling.

Cai Gengxin was dressed in a combination of dark blue and baby blue colours. Her robe was a lot more modest and didn't have as many frills but instead had a neater look.

Lian Chang was similarly in a full black robe, except hers had a skirt that went to her knees and long black boots that went to her thighs. Her short white hair and black head band made her look like a battle maid.

Ding Chin was dressed in a green robe that matched her mossy green hair. Her robe long and elegant with the bottom of it near her ancles, but doesn't looks restrictive due to the waviness it shows when she moves.

Apart from Yan Yin, these women where previously personal maids but as he is starting to get more used to life in his new world his feelings are slowly also changing. With the thought of death at any time becoming more and more real, his feelings for his women have grown slightly.

He doesn't fear death, or is worried about dyeing. That doesn't stop him from reflecting on his previous life where he died alone and those feelings spurred his new ones to be quicker and more desiring for love. So he made these women along with Meng Yating who is staying in his internal world girlfriends instead of personal maids.

Yan Yin, herself is already at the concubine level and being near fiancé which would mean he fully loves her. The reason the girls were out is because he plans to take them on his journey with him, publicly.

Normally he would bring them along in his internal world but he wants them to get experience as well. He knows that bringing them along will cause the cliché conflicts with young masters, but he does so on purpose.

Each encounter with a young master is normally a chance for him to get an extra spy, take some loot, fight, reputation boost. Finally, his biggest reason he because he wants to shit on some young masters, and show them the horror of what a real face slap is.

His only problem left to sort out before he left was the things on his lap refusing to let him out of its grasp. Caihong refused to leave his side during the past week with the only time he had away from her was when he was practicing his skills.

He did have thoughts of bringing her but the glare from his parents was enough for him to instantly put those thoughts away. She is still too weak and young to go out on an adventure with him.

He obviously didn't want to deal with this on the last day, so he early on in the week made the deal that he would allow her to cling to him for the week, and then let him go when he needs to leave.

Even though they made that deal however, it doesn't seem like she is going to follow it. When breakfast was finished and he was saying his goodbyes to his parents he finally had to deal with the crying mess attached to his neck.

He uses his hand to lift her head so he can see her face and before she could continue whining about how she didn't want him to leave, he sealed her lips with his own.

After the kiss her mind was in shambles and he manages to pry her off of his neck. He had already said goodbyes to her and doesn't want to waste too much more time.

So, after a little more comforting he left the palace with 6 women following behind him.
