Chapter 10 Food Collector, Drooling Luffy

The sound of waves filled the air as seagulls soared and circled above. Alan, Luffy, and Kebi were aboard a small boat, sailing away from the merchant ship. They had left the ship to escape from the pursuing Marines.
As they sailed further, the commotion on the merchant ship faded away, and the passengers who had been hiding began to cautiously emerge. They pointed excitedly at the approaching Marine warships with seagull flags, feeling relieved and safe. There were cheers and tears of joy as they realized they were being rescued.
On the boat, Luffy's hunger became evident as he pleaded with Alan for meat, his mouth watering at the thought. Alan, with a smile, apologized for being unable to fulfill his request, explaining that his past as a captive of the Alvida Pirates made him a target for the Marines. He planned to leave the boat at the next island to avoid any trouble.
Coby, who had been fearful of Alan's reputation as a "Magician," timidly approached him and expressed his gratitude. Alan reassured Coby, emphasizing that as Luffy's friend, he was welcome aboard. Kirby, who had yet to transform, was also invited to partake in the feast. Alan held no animosity towards Kirby but refrained from showing favoritism.
Reflecting on the nature of justice and the imperfections of the Marines, Alan acknowledged that while there were admirable aspects to their pursuit of justice, there were also flaws and individuals with extreme or naive behavior. He recognized that no one was a perfect hero and that each Marine had their own flaws and beliefs.
Kirby, full of curiosity, stared in amazement as Alan's Tegu Magic Hand enlarged the Teigu Universal Magic Book. Luffy, having witnessed the magic hand's capabilities before, was less surprised. Alan explained that the book's real size was far beyond imagination but had been shrunk for convenience. He revealed that the book could store not only cooked food but also giant objects or targets.
The golden pages of the book began to flip, and delicious dishes flew out, steaming and freshly cooked. The deck of the boat was soon covered in mouthwatering food, filling the air with an enticing aroma. Luffy couldn't contain his excitement and eagerly dove into the feast.
