In the tranquil waters of the East Blue, a small boat with sails drifted slowly, riding the gentle waves. Two black-haired teenagers, one tall and the other short, locked eyes in astonishment. Standing there, arms folded, was a handsome young man named Badr Alan. With his sharp facial features, deep eyes, and remarkable charm, he towered over the "dwarf winter melon" who emerged from a salvaged wooden barrel, grinning mischievously.

Alan, at seventeen years old, stood just above 1.75 meters in height. Donning flip-flops, denim shorts, a red short-sleeved top, and a straw hat, he possessed a shallow scar beneath his left eye. He and the other teenager, known as the future Pirate King, Luffy, were no strangers to each other. Alan had woken up one day to find himself transported to the world of pirates over ten years ago. Through conversations with those around him, he quickly learned about concepts such as Devil Fruits, the World Government, the Naval Headquarters, and the dreaded Celestial Dragons. Aware of the world he now inhabited, he refused to settle for an ordinary life and dedicated himself to relentless training day and night.

Fate smiled upon him when he acquired the Paramecia Munch-Munch Fruit, granting him extraordinary abilities. Originally, he harbored aspirations of becoming a Marine Marshal or Admiral in the future, or at the very least, a laid-back salted fish like Admiral Kizaru or a Vice Admiral. He envisioned a life of punctual attendance, fulfilling his duties without exerting much effort, occasionally engaging in office pranks, accepting bribes, and showing filial piety. How convenient it would be! At the age of twelve, armed with remarkable talent and the incredible powers of the Munch-Munch Fruit, he developed a formidable physique, mastered several martial arts styles, and embarked on a solo journey across the seas.

Using his Paramecia ability, he created various peculiar gadgets and resumed his former occupation as a magician. Performing awe-inspiring tricks in towns across East Blue, he swiftly gained fame as a renowned magician. His plan was to join the Marines at the age of seventeen. However, reality had different plans. Merely two months before his seventeenth birthday, as he prepared for his final stage performance on Gobbia Island, he unexpectedly found himself marked as a Marine target. His name and face appeared on a wanted poster with a bounty of 8 million Baileys, dead or alive, courtesy of the Marines. The outrageous bounty prompted the Marines stationed at the 57th branch base on Gobbia Island to ruthlessly open fire on him.

But the flames of vengeance still flickered within Alan's heart. Fueled by the recent turn of events, he vowed to settle the score with Colonel Mouse, the head of the corrupt 16th branch of the Marines who had conspired with the Murloc Pirates. Determined to confront his enemies, he coincidentally encountered Luffy, who had recently set sail as a future Pirate King but ended up shipwrecked and confined to a wooden barrel.

"Wow, that was close! I owe you my life," the resilient young Luffy exclaimed with gratitude as he bowed before Alan.

Patting his straw hat, Luffy introduced himself confidently, "I'm Monkey D. Luffy, the man who will become the Pirate King!"

Curiosity gleamed in Alan's eyes as he examined the straw hat boy before him. With a hint of disdain, he remarked, "One Piece, huh? Do you really think you can conquer the Grand Line with just a 'cask' as your vessel?"

Although Alan harbored no ill will toward Luffy, he couldn't

help but question the feasibility of his dream. Despite Luffy's occasional naivety, impulsiveness, recklessness, and audacity, Alan admired his profound affection for his comrades, his willingness to sacrifice everything for them, and his unwavering determination.

Unfazed by Alan's skepticism, Luffy's eyes sparkled with enthusiasm as he proposed, "Would you like to be my partner?"

Amused by Luffy's invitation, Alan arched an eyebrow and asked, "Do you even know who I am?"

The straw hat boy patted his head in a momentary lapse of memory and responded with curiosity, "Who are you? We haven't introduced ourselves yet!"

Unperturbed by Luffy's forgetfulness, Alan revealed his name and profession, "I am Badr Alan, a magician... I had originally planned to join the Marines, but for some reason, I find myself being hunted by them. I intend to seek retribution from those responsible!"

"Magician!" Luffy's eyes widened with excitement, focusing solely on the fact that Alan possessed magical abilities. Ignoring the rest of his story, he eagerly asked, "Really? Can you perform magic?"

Alan raised his eyelids and gestured with his right hand, conjuring a flower. In a swift motion, the flower vanished, replaced by a handkerchief. Luffy's eyes widened with amazement as he exclaimed, "Wow! That's incredible! How did you do it?"

With Luffy's admiration and enthusiasm for his magical talents, Alan couldn't resist a smile. Luffy's invitation to join him onboard his future crew intrigued Alan, and he decided it might indeed be interesting to sail alongside this aspiring Pirate King.
