Heavenly Demon Descends back home
"After rending the heavens asunder and tearing the limbs from your divine form, why do you persist, O Buddha?" the demon's voice thundered, a tempest of fury and anguish. "You, who have witnessed the fall of countless Buddhas before you, now stand alone in the face of inevitable oblivion."
A sinister chuckle cut through the air like a blade, sharp and merciless. "It seems words fail you, oh noble sage," the demon continued, its voice dripping with malice. "But know this: your resistance is futile, your defiance meaningless. The Buddhas that once stood tall have crumbled to dust, their legacy naught but whispers in the wind."
The demon's voice grew cold, a chill that froze the very essence of existence. "Do you recall the events of three hundred years past?" it hissed, each word a dagger aimed at the heart of the Buddha's resolve. "When my daughter lay dying, and I sought to descend to her side, you barred my path, forcing me to watch as her light flickered and faded into darkness."
A cruel laugh echoed through the void, the sound of shattered dreams and broken promises. "You may not have a daughter, O Buddha," the demon spat, its voice dripping with contempt. "But your sins against me shall not go unpunished. I shall sunder the heavens and cast down the gods, and then I shall descend upon the mortal realm, where I shall reclaim my rightful place among the Sun and Moon Cult, and usher in a new era of darkness."
The demon's voice rose to a deafening crescendo, a symphony of destruction and despair. "Now, perish, you wretched deity," it roared, the words a final condemnation. "Cease your futile resistance and embrace the oblivion that awaits you. For in the end, even gods must bow before the might of the Heavenly Demon."
