After a moment, he stopped thinking about it. It didn't matter what caused this change, what did matter was he could enter without evolving to the first order.

He then glanced at the bear cubs. 'Can I take them inside with me?' He thought. The leaking mana could attract beasts, making staying in the tunnel dangerous. So, he didn't want to leave the vulnerable cubs here.

Praying that the barrier would allow the cubs entry, he took them in his arms and took a step forward.

Ripple~!

The barrier rippled, and a wave of resistant force covered the cubs, not allowing them to enter with him. 

"Sure enough, I can't take them." Luke sighed. Although he had expected this, he couldn't help but be disappointed.

After thinking for a moment, he dug out a small hole in the tunnel wall, put the cubs there before covering it with mud.

Before entering the barrier, he gave a last glance at the place where the bear cubs were, feeling concerned.
