The strange scroll

Whoosh!

He suddenly 'felt' a pull of mana from the cave behind the mother bear's corpse. It was brief. By the time he turned toward the cave, the feeling had vanished.

"Hm? What was that?" He furrowed his brows. Although he didn't know exactly what it was, he had an instinctive feeling that he should check the cave out—it'll be beneficial for him. So, after hesitating for a moment, he walked over and entered the cave.

It was quite spacious and was well over a hundred meters long. Looking around, he only saw a few dead beasts piled up in a corner.

Carefully, looking while trying to 'feel' the same feeling, he walked toward the end of the cave, but found nothing out of sorts. 

'Maybe I was wrong?' Just as this thought surfaced in his mind, he noticed a patch of uneven soil at the cave's end.
