It was a Formation Path Killer Move that allowed the user to add Earth Path Gu worms to strengthen the formation!

Usually, once Formation Path methods are set it is very hard to change without high Formation Path attainments, but this move is unique in the sense that its strength can be improved just through quantity.

There would be no qualitative change in the Killer Move with each new Gu but with enough Earth Path Gu, it was possible to rival a Venerable in terms of defense!

But the thing that shocked the Gu Immortals presents the most was that this Gu House belonged to Fang Yuan!

But Fang Yuan was unique, he already established a practice of selling Gu for resources, this could be treated as an expansion on that, plus he deliberately used a small sign on his stall to advertise so that he deniability when it came to him informing only his subordinates.

Because in reality, he informed none of them about this beforehand! The only reason Wu Clan and Fang Clan knew about this was because of the frequency of transactions between the 2.

What Fang Yuan desired was loyalty. Especially in Fang Clan's case, they would rob the Grotto Heaven clean and in return, Fang Yuan would 'reward' them by giving them Gu and other forms of help.

It was a win-win scenario, for Fang Yuan.

In the Eastern Sea no competition was really needed as 90% of the forces there have already submitted to Fang Yuan.

Although the rules forbade Fang Yuan from choosing who he could send, it didn't matter as they would all be loyal.

Naturally, it then came down to strength, Shang Clan easily swept through the competition as they had both Shen Shang and Lu Wei Yi, who decided to stay in the Shen clan after the events of the Crazed Demon cave.

With that, the tournaments concluded and the winners were instructed that they had 10 days to travel to the Northern Plains.
