概要

What comes to your mind when you hear the word 'Villain'? Evil, cruel, cunning? So true. But what if the main character in this novel is reincarnated as a villain? Can he kill the protagonist who has endless plot armor? Zhou Yuan had to accept the fact that he had reincarnated into the world of the cultivation novels he had read in his previous life. He realized that his identity was extraordinary. Father is a CEO and Mayor, Mother is the Chairman of a famous company, and Grandfather is a national hero. Zhou Yuan was excited, but that all changed when he realized that his role was that of the villain. “Shit, am I going to die? No, then I will become the villain who rules the world!” Not being reckless, Zhou Yuan got help from the system. This novel is a very-well written bunch of cliché villain-esque plots put together… And I can’t say I hate it. Writing Quality: It really helps that story is written with good grammar and that style of writing that is usually present in villain novels giving this that extra flavour. 4.6 stars. Update Stability: The Author updates once/twice a day and the chapters have a good amount of content. 4.7 stars. Story Development: I really like the way author has integrated several different villains in MC’s scope of view, and how some of the cliché endings are broken in this novel. But ultimately this is very cliche (I’m going to keep mentioning this because it’s important to understand that this story is cliche before starting it). In this story, the MC ACTUALLY works towards getting the protags killed which is a plus! (SPOILER: 2 killed within first 100 chaps). 4.4 stars. Character Design: Everything you can expect from the villain MC of this genre: Ruthless, Shameless, Possessive, Vidictive and vain. Something that meshes quite well together to create a character you’ll enjoy reading about. 4.5 stars. World Building: I don’t know what to say, characters appear to pop up out of nowhere for the portag but that’s just the will of the world or whatnot. I think Author or the MC has forgotten about a girl or two from his adventures and so it’s important not to get attached to some of them because MC only wants the best of the best apprently. 4.2 stars. If you want to read a more refined version of villain destroying protagonist’s novel then pick this up. If you tired of this genre then this definitely will not bring anything new to the table and I suggest reading this when you’ve your taste is unsaturated again. (Don’t mind the gif I’m just attracting the h * rny bunch to the review)

I will touch a few aspects of the novel: First comes story development - While some people prefer to see quick power up boosts, I appreciate the slow development of the story. I firmly believe MC needs time to develop even if he is a genius - it makes no sense if he suddenly becomes the strongest in the world. Second comes romance - From the former novel of the author I believe he is against useless harems with countless useless and weak wives everywhere. However, in 60 chapters only, MC already has "collected" 2 wives, making me wonder if it's a harem system instead of a villain one. Hopefully, author won't turn it into another generic harem novel, where every woman is completely useless and barely gets story time after he conquers her. As MC should already know about all outstanding women in advance (if I got it right he is in a world of a novel he has read in his previous life), maybe he has already set his eyes on a few women? Last aspect I want to talk about is the villain aspect - Although MC seems not to hesitate to kill some men, he seems to have a soft spot for women - he never considers killing the heroines of the protagonists he is hunting, insetad, he only tries to charm them first. While it seems to make him seem less vile, I guess its up to author how to set his characteristics as he doesn't really have to be a merciless mass murderer in order to be a villain. I feel it's too soon to comment about the system setting, as too much info is lacking - we don't know the criterions that need to be met in order to kill a protagonist, we don't know how the lottery works (somehow he always gets 2 prizes every time insetad of one) and so on, I just assume author will reveal it through the story. Keep up the good work and good luck to the author, it's a great story!
