Two hours passed when Chan Ci finally opened his eyes. He looked up at the small lizard girl standing there waiting for him patiently. He couldn't help but bow his head in respect to the girl for allowing him to finish his enlightenment even when she could have attacked him. "Thank you."
"It is nothing. One can only hope for such a moment. And you were able to grasp it, so it is only natural that I help you. However, I do suggest not doing that in front of others again. Not everyone is as nice as I am." Mei Ling replied with a smile.
"Haha! True!" Chan Ci smiled as he stood up and bowed to Mei Ling. "But still. Thank you."
"It's nothing. I am sure you wish to see how much stronger you have gotten. So shall we continue?" Mei Ling smiled as she jumped back and readied her sword. She really wanted to see how much of a difference Chan Ci would have after going through enlightenment.
