The red coat gave Allan the Devil Fruit and Allan reluctantly accepted, after all, who would turn away a Devil Fruit?

"You should go, the little turtle will wake up soon!"

The red coat said pushing the teary-eyed Wavy towards Allan.

Allan picked Wavy up and placed it on his head asking Wavy to hold on to his hair.

"Thanks!"

Allan quickly jumped back to Alexandria and the turtle started moving away.

"Wavy please help me move Alexandria away."

Allan said gently.

Wavy nodded.

Although Wavy looked like he was about to cry, he held off and started controlling Alexandria in the opposite direction of the little turtle.

Seeing the turtle disappear, Allan looked at the Devil Fruit in his hands, a black and white Devil Fruit.

"Is this a yin-yang fruit?"

Allan sighed.

A small adventure at sea yielded an unknown Devil Fruit, too bad he hasn't seen the Devil Fruit Illustration so he currently had no clue what it was.

Unbeknownst to Allan, he was extremely lucky to have met the spirit turtle while it was asleep, those who did never lived to tell the tale.

"Wavy right? Does it take a lot of energy to fix and control the ship?"

Allan asked, now that things had happened.

Wavy nodded and then shook his head like a rattle.

Although Wavy still looked like he was about to cry, it's gotten much better.

"Don't worry, I won't ask for your help unless necessary."

Allan said with a smile, Wavy's ability to control the ship wasn't that useful in normal situations, but its lifesaving ability was definitely high.

In storms, typhoons, and the Calm Belt, there were many areas where Wavy's ability could save their lives.

As for Wavy's mute behavior, out of the ten ship spirits, only about 5 talked while the others just bobbed their heads along.

"Well then, where do you want to rest?"

Allan asked, he didn't know how ship spirits rested, do they like to rest in beds? Or do they fuse with the ship? If so, then do they only fuse in the ship they woke up from? Or were new ships fine?

Wavy seemed to be thinking where, but the longer Wavy thought, the more teary-eyed Wavy appeared.

"Alright alright, I'll choose for you okay?"

Allan said with a wry smile, the little guy was cute and indecisive, too indecisive.

Allan brought it to his room.

"Here, you can sleep at the side, you don't take up much space anyway."

Allan explained, Wavy leaped off Allan and plopped down on the bed.

"Will other people see you?"

Allan asked.

Wavy shook his little head before pointing at Allan and nodding.

From what Allan understood, normally Wavy couldn't be seen, but Allan saw Wavy and the others, so now Wavy wasn't sure.

"Alright, feel free to run around the ship, if you like any of the other rooms, you can tell me."

Allan explained but Wavy already had a snot bubble on his face.

Allan couldn't help but chuckle until the door burst open and a panicked Kaku and Gin entered.

"Al you're here! Everyone was on the ground sleeping! What happened?!"

Gin asked, not seeing Allan immediately really scared Gin.

"It's okay, breathe, it wasn't too dangerous, I even got something from it."

Allan said with a smile while throwing the Devil Fruit to Gin.

"This is… is this!?"

Gin asked in shock.

"That's a Devil Fruit."

Kaku answered.

Allan chuckled before telling them what happened.

As for keeping it a secret, he trusted these two already, with only his origin hidden, this was something Allan planned to keep till his grave, there wasn't a need to say, after all, what does he want them to do after he finished telling them that they were but side characters in an anime from another world?

So other than his origin, Allan didn't plan to lie to them.

"Ship Spirits?"

Kaku said while looking at the bed, Wavy was covering himself with the blanket after waking up when Gin and Kaku entered.

But the shivering mound in the blanket was proof of what happened along with the Devil Fruit.

Allan looked at Gin and Kaku, Kaku looked back with a nod.

"How about it Gin? Do you want to eat it? Maybe we'll find a Devil Fruit illustration in the future, so if you want, we could just store it and wait, anyways, it won't be too late to eat it when you fully exercise."

Allan asked with a smile.

Although he knew some Devil Fruit locations, he didn't have the power to find them yet, and it might take a long time before he could explore the world safely.

And Devil Fruits were actually extremely rare, as an anime watcher it might not seem too obvious, because of the many Devil Fruits shown in the series.

Gin was naturally the first to eat, Kaku was almost on par with Allan before he awakened Observation Haki, so Kaku could wait.

Gin, if he successfully fuses Shave and Paper Drawing in his Faceless Demon Tactics, then Allan was quite sure he would become a formidable force in the family.

But right now Gin was the weakest, so for seniority's sake after a logical analysis, the best person to eat it was Gin.

As for Kaku, Allan wanted to see if the Giraffe Fruit found Kaku first or if Allan found a better fruit for Kaku first.

Although Allan wanted to go and explore the world to find Devil Fruits, the world was too big, his strength was insufficient so instead, Allan took a more laidback attitude when it came to Devil Fruits.

If he found one then let his family members decide whether they wanted to eat or not.

The ones Allan knew the whereabouts of were either eaten already or on a remote island he currently had no access to.

"Do you want to eat it Kaku?"

Gin politely asked, seniority wise he should be the first option, but Gin was eager to increase the family's strength.

Unlike what Allan thought of, balancing the situation, Gin thought it was much better to make Kaku who was the second strongest even stronger, that way, East Blue would be safer.

"No need, you should eat it Brother Gin."

Kaku answered.

It was rare for Kaku to call Gin 'brother' since the three were not that far apart in terms of age, Gin was only 2 years older than both Allan and Kaku, but whenever Kaku was outside, he would always cooperate with Gin for the image of the family.

But now, Kaku called Gin 'brother' without any outsiders.

As for Wavy, he was still shivering under the blanket.

Gin nodded in acknowledgment.

As Allan said, they didn't know whether the fruit was good or bad, but when will they find the Devil Fruit illustration? What if it took too long? Although Gin didn't like it, he was truly the weakest link in the family.

"I promise to help find you one in the future Kaku."

Gin said.

"Hahahaha, don't sweat it Gin, the future family members need us all to find them suitable Devil Fruits unless they don't want to eat one."

Allan said with a grin, Kaku also nodded with a smile.

Yes, the family would still expand in the future.

The trio thought at the same time.

As Allan once said, time waits for no one, Gin thought while taking huge bites and finishing the whole fruit.

Vomit!

"It tastes so bad!"

Gin said almost gagging from the taste.

"Hahahahaha!"

Allan laughed, his reaction wasn't as bad as Gin, but at the time he was already on the verge of death so the Devil Fruit taste didn't bother him too much, though the taste was so distinct it made people never want to taste it again.

Kaku waited curiously for Gin to change.

Gin who was kneeling on the ground started to change, his neck elongated his body burst with feathers.

"This is, Bird-Bird Fruit Model Pelican!"

Allan said in surprise before laughing with joy.

Kaku's eyes went round, Devil Fruits were really quite something.

"Is this a good Devil Fruit Allan?"

Gin asked, although it looked weird seeing a bird talk, Allan's laugh was laced with joy so Gin was curious.

"Hehe, it's a very good fruit Gin, although it's not an Ancient or Mythical Zoan Fruit, a pelican fruit is not to be underestimated, first off, the strength boost from any Zoan Fruit is always substantial."

Allan said while pointing at Gin.

Gin did feel like his body strength improved especially in his pelican form, promptly reverting to his human form, Gin also felt his physique improve.

Although Allan felt like Insect Fruits offer more bonus in terms of physique almost on par or even more than that of Ancient Zoan fruits by the virtue of their small size now becoming similar to humans, ants, for example, could lift 10 to 50 times their own weight, while certain species of ants could lift 100 times their weight.

Normal animals can't perform like insects when it comes to strength bonus because of their original size.

Of course, eating an ant fruit doesn't mean you'll be able to lift 10 to 100 times your own weight, although the physics in One Piece was weird, there was still a limit, so depending on what ant species the Devil Fruit was based on, the boost should give a differing amount of addition in the physique.

In Allan's case, the boost was more focused on his limbs as well as strength, resilience, and regeneration.

"Secondly, flight! Being able to fly is an extremely huge advantage!"

Allan added.

He didn't say much about his knowledge of people who can fly since logically he shouldn't know much at this point coming from an isolated island, but the advantage in flight should be easy to understand.

"Third and the most important point, have you seen the birds that deliver newspapers?"

Allan said with a huge and almost evil grin.

Kaku's eyes widened after hearing Allan's words.

Gin half realized what Allan meant but was still stuck somewhere in his thoughts.

"Although we can't steal the newspaper business, and we're still too weak to establish any bird-related business, we can at least set up a reconnaissance and information system, train enough pelicans to cover the whole East Blue, put a video snail on its mouth and voila! We'll be able to monitor a whole sea!"

Allan said with joy.

There was one thing he'd always been reluctant to do that he thought of doing early on, and that was to establish a neutral force, but to support any force needed astronomical amounts of money, and more than the money, the force must be able to provide benefits or advantages.

From what Allan envisioned, the best benefit of the force he planned to build was information.

"Hahahaha! Our first step to our dream will be established with your Devil Fruit ability Gin!"

Allan declared with glee.

"I've been holding off an idea since the need for money, it is also one of the reasons why I wanted us to be bounty hunters, first we'll build a reputation and earn enough money, then we can build an organization, aside from pirates and marines, there is actually another profession prominent in the sea!
