Across the vast arena of heavenly steel, sparks fluttered in the wind with an orange shine, accompanied by ear-filling screeches of metal.
Vex held his ever-present, relaxed smile while moving his body nimbly, yet without wasted movement as he swayed to the right just as the massive limb swept forth. The bladed arm was but a hair's length away, neighbored by the embers made of its own cutting edge.
"Not much of a talker, are you?" The playful question left Vex's lips as he maneuvered elusively, flipping back, "Color me surprised—"Ugre, the Pale Butcher"—that's you, right?"
The relentless assault was brought to a pause as the giant with bladed arms halted, straightening himself up as his sunken eyes looked down at the human.
"My fable is one not known to those of the human continent. Tell me, human, how do you know my name?" Ugre asked with a voice that sounded of hollow whispers.
