The Awards Night and CUT!

We all got together to celebrate the good news. The news spread around about us being nominated for several categories. Many sent us congratulations and blessings that we may win. But even being nominated felt like we were winners already.

I had to thank the team heartily for their never-ending support and dedication during the filming. Everyone worked as one to complete the drama. The awards night was just one week away. So Little Moon suggested we all go together. She had even selected the suits for us while I selected the dress for her.

on the day of the ceremony, we had to go through the red carpet. A big day for Little Moon. She was accompanied by me, Brother D, and Su. We looked like the three musketeers and the beauty. She really looked stunning in her light yellow floor-length flowing dress with puffed sleeves and the hair in a bun. Brother D had bought her a rose gold bracelet that matched the completion. She only had a slight makeup that made her look more vibrant among other ladies who had been dolled up for the ceremony.

We all were asked to be seated together with the others from our team. Once in a while a few fellows would come around and wish us luck or have a little chit-chat and goes. The most important person who came to talk with us was Keith - the internationally proclaimed director. I introduced everyone to him and he said, holding Little Moon,

"My dear I am patiently waiting to make a movie for your next script to be mine."

"It's an honor sir, I hope I won't disappoint you," she said with a little curtsy.

Keith talked with us till the event was about to start. H said he was impressed by our teamwork and wished to work with this team Mr.D has built-in one of his upcoming movies. Most of the guests were very curious were curious to know what Keith was talking about with us.

Like any other event, this was filled with many entertaining events. One of the segments was to make fun of actors. And I was roasted by the host for not inviting him to my wedding later he acknowledged wishing us both good health and with a hope to see more scripts, drama, and movies to be born. Little Moon was unable to leave out of the jokes as they mention her as the Moon has come to an award show shining bright among others.

With all these the distribution of awards started. One by one went and by end of the event, we had won the best title song, the best singer, the best songwriter, and the best-supporting actor and actress awards. This was already too much for us and to be recognized for our talent.

By now Little Moon had been awarded two titles - best CG design and the best costume designer. We were patiently waiting for the other award announcements. The best camera award was divided between us and the drama - Lost Love. By now out of thirteen awards, we have got about seven.

After a few more entertaining events the final awards were handed out. For the best script, there were two more nominees including Little Moon.

"And now the award for the best script goes to the drama written by Little Moon" there was huge applause and this made her nervous. So Mr.D asked me to accompany her.

After getting the award, she was asked to make a speech, to my surprise she didn't refuse. still holding my hand tight she started to speak

"Thank you, everyone. I am really happy to win this award in front of my brother, who encouraged me to believe in my ability and myself. Even though I have won awards before this is the first time I am participating with George, who gave me the strength to come out from my hidden world. And The team of actors, director, cameramen, and all the other people who helped this drama in the tiniest way, this script came to life because of the hard work you all put together as one family. Thank you"

Next was the award for best actor, and the award goes to George.

"Recently someone asked me what is the best thing that happened to me? I think if you look at the place where I seated you will see my little shy wife, my brother-in-law beaming with pride, and my best friend - Wang Su with a face that says I am happy for you, means the world to me. And the best thing that happened to me was meeting all the talents and working with them as one family to create the best dramas for our audiences. Without anyone of them I wouldn't be here today, Thank you."

The last award for the night was the best overall drama. undoubtedly the Award went for our team. We gained international recognition with our first production. MR.D was in tears when he got the award,

"Thank you, everyone. I will just say a very few words. A few years ago an accident caused me to be disabled from the waist down. I avoided seeing my little girl for five years, which means she saw me standing on her wedding day. I created this studio to help her talents to be recognized by others and because of her dedication, our studio become one of the best design firms within two years. All because of her dedication and hard work she put into all her designs. I am really proud to have you as my sister Little Moon. From now on you must carry on the flaming torch and light up other's talents."

And there was huge standing applause, from the guests and then only I realized his true dream. His true dream was to see her being recognized for her talents.

After all the photoshoots and interviews I found Little Moon seated at a corner with Mr.D beside her. Mr.D was supposed to leave tonight as he had to go for his regular checkups and training. I promised him we will visit soon after we settle ourselves at Little Moon's home.

It was a long night and she looked so tired. Lee bought the car to back of the event hall so we can escape without the media going crazy and making her more emotional. Su also joined us.

"Dude is she ok"

"She will be fine after a good night's sleep. She still has a long way to when it comes to standing in front of a crowd."

"Here. let her listen to this, he gave an MP3 player with earbuds." I let her listen to it on the way."

"What is in it?"

"That is a set of songs she sent me during the time I was recovering."

I asked Lee to drop Su at home and him to take the car home.

I took Little Moon to bed and removed her evening gown and dressed her in the loose nightdress. After tucking her in I placed the awards on the cupboard in front before going to have a wash myself.

When I came back I had a smile on my face by looking at her. She looked so peaceful and happy. I slide in beside her and hugged her tight while falling asleep with her soft red rose smell and the rhythm of her breathing.

A few months later.

"Brother D what do you think of the script"

"I think it has a good vibe, why don't you ask from the others and see"

"Su liked it and he had already started making soundtracks. ok I will share it with the director and the cameraman and let you know."

"Where is Little Moon?"

"Moony, brother is looking for you. Can you please show him your face instead of those feet hanging in the air?"

"What's up Brother D?"

"I need new CG science for a new game."

"Fuzzball move, you are ruining my drawing. Sorry, What kind of CG science you need?"

"Check your maiL, I have sent the details."

"Brother Geo"

"Yes Ted,"

"Lee has sent a message saying the advert filming is finished. and you need to check it before sending it to the client."

"Can you forward it to me, Ted."

"Ok sure boss"

"George I got some news from Keith"

"Is it positive or " I asked Brother D.

"He is happy with the script and he wants us to do the filming."

"What did you say, brother?" asked LIttle Moon.

"Kieth wants to produce your script and he wants us to do the filming."

"Really?"

"Just check your email silly Moon," said Ted,

"Wait till I catch you, silly dumpling" threatened Little Moon.

This was life when everyone works together. Me being the peacemaker in between LIttle Moon and Ted. And negotiating work with potential clients and directors while expanding the design firm globally.

To my surprise, I won the best photographer award for portraits. Because of this popularity, Little Moon had urged me to do another exhibition with the photos we took when we were hiking. A Butterfly theme event.

"ping" I notice of I have got mail.

After I read it, not once but thrice I called the others.

"Dear George & Mr.D,

I am very happy to inform you that I have taken a liking for the newest script that LIttle Moon has written. This story has a lovable feel yet with a mystery hidden. But the mystery to be something they both share.

I am planning to produce this script. But I will need your team of experts to join in this new adventure. All expenses are carried out by me, I only need is your creative talent to make this one of the most successful movies ever created.

If you all agree please let me know in advance as I want to start filming during winter. I know a Little secret that someone is waiting to build a snowman too. And you all can have a vacation to enjoy a snowy Christmas before the filming starts.
