Chapter 162:- Meeting With The HPSC

The next day, Izuku did morning training with Hawks, following which he got ready to meet the Hero Public Safety Commission.

Hawks and Toji used a private plane sent by HPSC to fly to Kyoto, where the HPSC headquarters was located. As they walked through the grand doors of the Hero Public Safety Commission's headquarters. The building was imposing, its sleek design and high-security presence reflecting the serious nature of the work conducted inside.

"Alright, Toji, this is it," Hawks said, placing a reassuring hand on Toji's shoulder. "Remember, just be yourself and listen carefully to what they have to say."

"Got it," Toji replied, feeling a mix of excitement and anger to finally get rid of the people who made Kaina's life hell.

They were greeted by a stern-looking receptionist who directed them to the meeting rooms. As they approached, a member of the commission stepped out to meet them.

"Hawks, Toji, welcome," the member said. "Hawks, you'll need to report to the information department about your ongoing task. Toji, please come with me."

Hawks gave Toji a final nod before heading off in the opposite direction. Toji followed the commission member into a large, well-lit meeting room where several senior members were seated.

"Welcome, Toji," one of the elders said with a warm smile. "Please, have a seat."

Toji sat down, trying to calm his bloodlust as the elders began to speak.

"We've been watching your progress closely," the first elder began. "Your performance at the sports festival was exceptional. You have a rare talent, one that can be of great service to society."

"Thank you," Toji replied, feeling a swell of pride as he thought, 'What a bunch of idiots, praising the person who's going to kill you all' as he had a sinister smile on the inside.

"We have a special task for you," another elder continued. "This task is of the utmost importance. It's about maintaining peace and safety in our society. We need someone with your skill set to help us neutralize threats that the public doesn't even know about."

Toji listened intently as they spoke, their words heavy with praise and importance glorifying their work.

"You see, Toji," the first elder said, leaning forward, "there are individuals out there who pose a serious risk to the stability of our society. These people need to be dealt with discreetly. Your role would be to remove these threats before they can cause harm."

"We're offering you a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity," the second elder added. "You would be credited with saving countless lives, ensuring peace and safety for everyone. It's a noble task, and only someone of your caliber can handle it."

Toji's brow furrowed as he processed their words. He took a deep breath and looked directly at the elders.

"Are you asking me to kill people?" Toji asked bluntly.

The elders exchanged glances, their smiles faltering slightly.

"Toji, you have to understand," the first elder said, trying to regain control of the conversation. "These individuals are dangerous. They threaten everything we've worked to build. This is about protecting society."

Toji shook his head. "No, this is about you wanting to use me to get rid of people who are a threat to your power, not to society at large."

The room went silent, the elders' expressions hardening. The first elder's smile turned into a scowl.

"You don't understand the gravity of the situation," he said coldly. "We're giving you a chance to make a real difference."

"I understand perfectly," Toji replied, standing his ground. "But I won't be a tool for your personal vendettas. You all while being tools for my personal vendettas instead."

The second elder's face reddened with anger. "You will agree to this, or we will wreck your career. You will never be a hero again."

The elders glared at him, their previous warmth replaced by cold fury.

"You'll regret this," the first elder spat. "We offered you everything, and you threw it away. Remember that."

"Who said I'm going regret it, it's you people who'll regret it," said Toji with a smile.

The room was tense, the air thick with unspoken threats. Toji stood his ground, enjoying the expressions the elders were giving him. He looked at the elders, his gaze unwavering.

"You think I don't know who you people are?" Toji said, his voice steady but charged with anger. "I know exactly what you do. You kill people and put the blame on your so-called tools, turning them into fugitives when they refuse to obey your orders."

The elders' faces went from shocked to enraged in an instant. The first elder, his scowl deepening, leaned forward. "And where did you get this information?" he demanded, his voice low and dangerous.

Toji met his gaze with a cold, determined stare. "From your previous tool. Kaina Tsutsumi aka Lady Nagant, told me everything about you. And by the way, she's my woman now." said with a smile on his face as he gave up all respect and manners he was showing before as he sat comfortably, taking as much space as he wanted, while sitting with his arms wide apart from each other, while his left leg resting on his right thigh as if he's the boss of this place.

The elders' eyes widened in surprise and anger. The second elder slammed his fist on the table. "Kaina is still alive?" he barked, his voice filled with fury.

"You know, when you bark like that, you remind me of the dog my neighbor has, he is just a puppy beagle yet he barks as if he is an American pitbull, which not gonna lie, is really funny, and apparently you just remind me of him, isn't it great second elder," laughed Toji as he made fun of the second elder.

"How dare you make fun of me, me, a respectable elder of the society who has done-" The second elder who was furious at being mocked by a mere kid, had his blood boiling, as his face turned purple in anger, however Izuku cut him in between

"Respectable elder of the society who has done so much for the society blah blah blah, please don't bore me with that boring shit," said Izuku who yawned on listening to his words

"You have turned senile second elder, I know a good mental hospital for elderly people, if you want I can get you a bed there, they'll give you a good discount," said Izuku as he continued mocking the second elder.

The second elder who was about to lunge at Toji, was stopped by the first elder, who was shocked to see the kid acting so cockily as his shock quickly turned into a mocking laugh. "So, you've chosen to align yourself with that fugitive? Do you think you can escape the same fate? If this is what you've chosen, then you'll also have the same fate as her."

Toji clenched his fists, feeling the adrenaline surge through his body. "I'm not afraid of you. I am not your pawn, but you guys are mine, and this is retribution for what you did to Kaina."

The elders' expressions shifted from anger to sinister amusement. "You're making a big mistake, Toji," the first elder said, his tone dripping with condescension. "We gave you a chance to be a hero, to be celebrated. Now, you've thrown it all away."

The second elder who was still fuming in anger sneered. "We'll make sure you regret this decision. Just like Kaina, you'll be hunted and vilified. No one will see you as a hero. You'll be removed from the UA and will be reduced to nothing but a criminal in the eyes of the world."

Toji said in a really cold and menacing tone. "I'm already a criminal, I have killed more people than your collective age," he said firmly. "You think you have the power to even touch me."

"What do you mean by that?" said the First elder continued, "Who are you?"

"You don't know me? I'm the one whose replacement you were searching for in Toji" Izuku said as he stood up, and his clothes started changing into that of a female, specifically purple battle gear, something Kaina wore when she went on a mission.

Soon Izuku's appearance was replaced with that of Kaina, who was the one who actually came with Hawks and not Izuku.

"I have also brought you guys a present," said Kaina as she pointed towards the wall behind the first elder, from which a silhouette could be seen as Kaina said, "My boyfriend had been dying to meet you guys, you can call him Thanatos," said Kaina, as Izuku dressed in all black stealth suit and black orca mask came out from behind the first elder.

Nice to meet you, who are soon going to be deadmen, greetings from Thanatos.
