Ch. 98 - Awkward Meet

There's actually a reason why he let Loki escape under his eyes.

The simple answer is the Mind Stone.

He wanted Loki to be defeated under Thor's hands in Asgard, so he would meet Thanos and Thanos would give him the Mind stone to invade Midgard to steal the Tesseract.

But the problem is, the Tesseract is in his hands and he can't just let Shield have it to experiment on, just so they could give the signal to Loki.

So, Doflamingo plans to let Tony study the Tesseract. But only after he fully trusts him. The Tony right now is nothing but an asshole.

If it wasn't for Matilda, Tony would've laid with every girls he sees.

Yes, that's right. Tony can't be called a playboy anymore, thanks to Matilda watching his every move.

Doflamingo can't put his finger on it but there seems to be something unsual happening to those two.

I guess only a genius could attract a genius, eh?

Now, let's go back to the present, shall we?

"Hela?" Hearing the familiar voice, Doflamingo could already recognize it.

"As expected of my darling, just my voice enough, he could already recognize me!" Hela came out of the shadows, revealing her magnificent figure, wearing her usual black and green armor which represents death.

"Who is she?" Thor, not knowing that the woman in front of him is his sister, he drooled upon her sight, which disgusted Hela.

"Disgusting man." Hela made a disgusted face before forming a necrosword and threatens to slash Thor's neck, if it wasn't for Doflamingo, stopping her.

"Hela, calm down. He doesn't know you're his sister." Doflamingo said, which was heard by Thor who stopped fawning over Hela and amde a shocked face.

"I have a sister?! Father didn't tell me! Hi there, sister!" Thor's attitude took a 360° turn and immediately became happy and excited as he greeted Hela, as if he didn't drooled over her just a minute ago.

"...He looked...So dumb." Hela commented at both Thor's appearance and personality.

"You're not wrong." Doflamingo whispered back.

However, their little chat was heard by the main subject of their topic.

"Me? I'm the Prince of Asgard and the God of Thunder!" This time, Thor stood up and pointed his finger at Hela and said.

"God of Thunder, you say?" Hela smirked as she said that and continued.

"All I see is a Prince of Idiots who is as fast as a lightning but was so fast that he left his miniscule intelligence in the dust like a thunder." Hela's words are more sharper than the Necroswords that even Doflamingo was wide-eyed by what she said.

Too bad though, Thor was too dumb to understand the words that she said.

"W-what does she mean by that? Is she insulting me or what?" Thor leaned towards Doflamingo and whispered questioningly.

"She just said that you're as fast as a lightning an-." Just when Dolfamingo was about to explain it, Thor already cuts him off the moment he heard that Hela said that he's as fast as a lightning.

"Ha! Of course I am! You're not bad, my sister!" Thor was full of smiles and even made some weird Asgardian-ish dance moves.

*Slap!*

Both Hela and Doflamingo slapped their foreheads and sighed.

"Please tell me that he's not my brother in blood?" Hela seemed to be losing her braincells rapidly just by being near Thor.

"Unfortunately, Loki is the non-blood related brother, Thor is your true brother." Doflamingo shrugged his shoulders and said, as if indicating that it is already set in stone and cannot be changed by anyone.

"Odin gave birth to an idiot. What a shame. The God of Wisdom, giving birth to a God of Idiots." Hela whispered to herself and shook her head.

"Sleep tight, Thor. Tomorrow, we'll go back to your room." Doflamingo said before holding Hela's hand, making her blush as he dragged her outside the room, leaving Thor still immersed in his fantasies.

Actually, Doflamingo could bring Thor back to Sanctuary with just a portal, but he knew that Loki would definitely swear revenge on him and Thor by sending the Destroyer. So, he wanted the fight to occur in New Mexico, instead of the Sanctuary.

"Your Majesty." As Loki came back throught the Bifrost, Heimdall, the keeper of the Bifrost, greeted him with a stoic face.

"You brought me too late!" Loki reprimanded him as he wiped the blood off his lower lip.

"You became invisible along with the people around you a few minutes ago. I only gambled on where to drop the Bifrost, luckily I brought you back in time." Heimdall said, which confuses Loki.

"Are you telling me that something or someone is capable of hiding from your eyes?" Loki was very confused as he thought that Doflamingo must've done something to erase them from Heimdall's view.

"Yes. It was actually during your fight with that man when I suddenly lost vision of you and your surroundings." Heimdall explained, as he was also confused about this, so hopes that perhaps Loki knew something about it.

"That's a bit...weird." Loki commented before remembering the humiliation that he suffered. Quickly forgetting about the weird phenomenon that just happened, Loki was consumed by vengeance and anger. So he immediately went back to his Throne Hall where he met the Warriors Three and Sif.

"We want to go to Midgard." Sif said, earning a snark from Loki.

"You're going nowhere. No one leaves Asgard until I say so. We are on a brink of war, we can't afford to have our 'best' warriors to disappear." Loki said, while deepening the word 'best' as if he was mocking them before walking to his throne under the glare of Sif and the Warriors 3.

Volstagg was even about to strike Loki if it wasn't for Hogun and Fandral stopping him in time.

"Thank you for your time, your highness." Sif bowed her head 'respectfully' before dragging the warriors three out of the throne room, under the watchful eyes of Loki.

"Another!"

Meanwhile, Thor was in a restaurant eating alongside Doflamingo and Hela.

"What a brute." Hela snickered to herself. She invited Doflamingo for a date when Thor suddenly approached then and begged them to take him out of his room or jail as he calls it.

Hela was about to decapitate Thor here and now for ruining the occasion when Doflamingo stopped her and agreed for Thor to join them.

And now, both of them are watching Thor eat his food like a barbarian.

"I'll take you to a fancy restaurant tomorrow, okay?" Doflamingo smiled to Hela and whispered. He knew that Hela must've been disappointed, but knowing they Loki might send the Destroyer anytime soon, he can't afford to leave Thor by himself. Especially now that he didn't meet Jane or anyone to influence him on becoming worthy again.

The waitress brought another glass of beer to Thor before scurrying off hurriedly, afraid that Thor might be a criminal who would do bad to her if she annoys him.

"Sorry about that." Understand what she's feeling, Doflamingo gives her a $100 and gave her an apologetic look.

"Thor, you can't do that here..." Doflamingo then proceeded to lecture him about what to do and what to not do on Earth.

Suddenly, Doflamingo's observation Haki picked up an unusual phenomenon happening just a few miles away from here.

Doflamingo smiled and continued lecturing Thor.

And just as he expected, the Warriors Three and Sif appeared from outside the glass, capturing the attention of the customers inside.

"My friends!" Thor naturally noticed then first, so he didn't hesitate to run outside and hugged them.

"Thor!" They called out his name as they hugged each other.

"What are you guys doing here? You guys shouldn't be here! My brother has gone mad and thought that I wouldn't notice that he's lying to me when he said that father is dead!" Thor expressed his worries and concerns as the Warriors Three and Sif looked at each other before looking back at Thor.

"Thor. I didn't expect your banishment in Midgard would be worthy." Volstagg said to him as he patted Thor's shoulder, as if indicating that he's proud of him.

"I'm glad you're banished here, Thor." Sif also said.

"Come on you guys, when I was banished here, I met a good friend and not only that..." Thor then dragged them inside the restaurant as he pointed at Doflamingo and Hela.

"I met my sister!" Thor said with a large grin on his face.

"Sister! How come you highness didn't tell it to you?" Sif was shocked the most.

"I also don't know. Now that you said that, why didn't father tell me and Loki about having a sister?" Thor was also confused so he shot a questioning look towards Hela.

"Because Odin is a bastard." Hela mocked, earning Sif and the Warriors Three's glare.

They all unsheathed their weapons and pointed them at Hela as Sif yelled at her.

"Don't you dare disrespect your highness!" Sif yelled and without delay, she quickly slashed her sword towards Hela.

Hela smirked before using a spoon on the table to parry Sif's sword.

*Clang!*

Volstagg appeared behind her as he raised his axe and was about to smash it towards Hela when suddenly, her body bent and kicked Volstagg on the stomach.

Contrary to their sizes, Volstagg seemed to be kicked by a giant as he smashed through the walls of the restaurant and fell on the ground outside.

Fandral and Hogun was also about to strike Hela when Thor stopped then with his arm.

"Stop this! We're all friends! We shouldn't fight each other!" Thor yelled, making Sif drop her sword. Though she was shocked that Hela managed to parry her with nothing but a spoon.

*Zoom!*

Suddenly, a bright flash of light appeared outside the restaurant as a bunch of people started screaming and yelling.

'It's finally here!' A flash of glint appears on Doflamingo's eyes as he trembled excitedly.
