"Absolutely," Caesar replied with a serious tone, locking eyes with Tony Stark. Caesar had always shown respect to those with talent and potential.
Tony forced a smile. "So, can you really bring peace to the world? Stop those demons and aliens from invading Earth?"
"As you wish," Caesar nodded with a calm smile. He extended his hand. "Welcome to the Holy Heavenly Palace."
Tony Stark hesitated for a moment before shaking Caesar's hand, sealing the alliance. "Alright, so what's your next move?"
The situation was dire. The Skrulls, disguised as top American officials, wielded immense power. They controlled the media, the government, and held access to dangerous technologies. With resources like biochemical experiments, they could unleash abominations, Green Goblins, and other threats that would overwhelm even the Avengers. The aerospace carriers, which had borrowed technological advancements from the Kree Empire cruiser, might already be compromised by the Skrulls, operating under their control.
Tony realized that the Avengers alone couldn't fend off hell demons, alien invaders, and the Skrulls who had infiltrated humanity. Caesar's power was now the only thing standing between Earth and total chaos.
Caesar chuckled lightly at Tony's concern. "Do you think I'm going to waste time tracking down the Skrulls, exposing them one by one, and putting them on trial in front of the world?"
Tony looked puzzled. "Aren't you?"
"No," Caesar replied, a sharp glint in his eyes. "The trial has already begun."
He snapped his fingers toward the sky. Moments later, beams of light descended from the heavens. News outlets covering the American executives who had been pressing Iron Man suddenly reported beams of light piercing through their heads, leaving smoking holes in the ground.
Those leaders, who had been confirmed as "human," could no longer maintain their Skrull disguises after death. Under the watchful eyes of the media, their alien forms were revealed. Some were truly human—likely brainwashed, blackmailed, or deceived into aiding the Skrulls. But in Caesar's eyes, it didn't matter. Supporting the Skrulls was a betrayal of Earth. Such a crime deserved one outcome—death.
Caesar had claimed Earth.
The Avengers, watching the news unfold in disbelief, stood speechless.
"How is this happening?" Tony Stark muttered, stunned by the swiftness of Caesar's judgment.
Captain America, his face grim, stared at the reports. "But what about the real humans? That one official was human—how do we know who's truly guilty?"
Caesar's voice was cold. "Humans who chose to align with the Skrulls, just like Nick Fury, have committed crimes against this planet and humanity. They will face judgment."
Black Widow stepped forward, her expression stern. "What about the Skrulls still hiding? The ones with biological weapons? The real threat isn't the ones who've revealed themselves—it's those we haven't found yet."
Caesar looked thoughtful for a moment. "Perhaps God shouldn't meddle too closely with humans," he mused with a smirk. "But who do you think I am?"
With a wave of his hand, an Angel appeared from thin air, glowing with radiant light. The Angel bowed and reported the latest information on the Skrull secret bases that Caesar had detected. It seemed Caesar had anticipated this all along.
Recognizing the importance of Earth's protection, Caesar had already stationed a full battalion of Angels across the planet, including three elite Angels. Armed with flaming swords capable of slaying even third-order Protoss, they were more than capable of wiping out the Skrull bases. Whether it was hidden mutants or Skrull-aligned enemies, they would be no match for these celestial beings.
"The clean-up has already begun," Caesar declared confidently, as the Angels prepared to bring swift justice to the Skrulls hiding in the shadows.
Caesar's expression grew grim as he listened to the Angels' report. The Skrull bases had been decimated, but something was terribly wrong. Despite the destruction, the numbers didn't add up. Only a handful of Skrulls remained, and those left had self-destructed during the Angels' attacks, leaving no survivors. Where there should have been thousands, there were only a few—and they had vanished without a trace.
More alarming was the discovery of humans with strange abilities. These individuals weren't mutants, yet they possessed strong combat skills. That fact alone piqued Caesar's interest. And then, there was the crystal.
In the base where the Angels had found the Abomination, they also uncovered a large quantity of an unusual crystal. It emitted radiation, the kind that didn't just harm but also influenced mental capabilities. Caesar learned that it could stir psychic powers, forcing abilities like telekinesis or mental manipulation. The Angels had wisely sealed it off, awaiting Caesar's review.
He frowned, contemplating the report. The Skrulls' sudden disappearance posed a grave threat to Earth. If they were waiting for the right moment to strike during his absence, the result could be catastrophic—on the scale of a global disaster. Caesar depended on living beings for faith, their belief empowering him. Dead, they were little more than fuel.
Ignoring the Avengers' anxious looks, Caesar acted swiftly. In an instant, he scanned vast sections of the globe, searching for traces of the Skrulls. Thanks to their genetic experiments, Skrulls could mimic humans flawlessly, making even genetic tests unreliable. But there was one flaw—they emitted a different internal heat signature than humans. Their superior physical attributes also stood out once you knew where to look.
With his keen senses, Caesar pinpointed a few Skrull survivors. Appearing before them, he watched as they immediately tried to detonate the bombs implanted in their bodies to commit suicide. But Caesar was faster. With a simple glance, he paralyzed them, trapping them in place. Their physical prowess was nothing compared to his divine power.
There was no need for interrogation. Caesar simply looked into their eyes, intending to tap into their minds, searching for answers about Loki's whereabouts and the Skrulls' grand plan. But as his spiritual energy touched their minds, their heads exploded. A hidden spiritual force within them had triggered the moment Caesar attempted to probe their memories.
Caesar blinked in surprise. Then, with a wave of his hand, he incinerated the Skrull remains, erasing them completely. He reappeared at the Angels' sealed chamber, where the mysterious crystal lay. His eyes narrowed as he examined it closely. Finally, he released a trace of his spirit, allowing it to come into contact with the crystal's strange radiation. He felt it—its power, its purpose. This crystal wasn't just a source of energy; it was something far more significant.
"This crystal..." Caesar muttered, deep in thought. "It's not merely a power source. It's a key. A key to something far larger than we imagined."
He turned to the Angels, his voice commanding. "We need to investigate further. There's more to these crystals than we first thought."
The Angels nodded, understanding the gravity of the situation. Caesar's mind raced with possibilities. The Skrulls' sudden vanishing, the appearance of these strange crystals, and their hidden power—something far greater was at play. And the fight against the Skrulls and whatever forces lay behind them was far from over.
