CHAPTER 13

1 month later.

It was early 2013 and Liam and Natasha's vacation was over. Liam reported to SHIELD without Natasha to which Fury asked him about her, Liam told him that Natasha was pregnant and would not be able to perform her role.

Fury upon hearing that Natasha was pregnant was stunned as anyone hearing it for the first time, Agent Hill who was behind Fury was also stunned.

"How is it possible for her to get pregnant?" asked Fury coming out of his daze to which Hill next to him nodded her head.

'This is where I come in and explain my megahyper excuse' thought Liam and told him his excuse.

After Liam told them his excuse, Fury didn't quite believe him, but he couldn't do anything since he had no proof to know if it was true or not, leaving this aside he asked Natasha to have some tests done to see if her body was completely fine.

Liam agreed but said not to go overboard with the tests because if something happened to her or the baby, they would not get away with it.

2 weeks later.

Natasha had all the tests done and everything was fine. They even asked her if she wanted to know the sex of the baby. Liam and Natasha looked at each other and nodded to the doctor.

"The sex of the baby is..." said the doctor who looked at an expectant Liam and Natasha.

"It's a girl," said the doctor.

Hearing it was a girl Liam and Natasha looked at each other and smiled as the two had spoken earlier and preferred a girl as their first child.

"We did a good job," Liam said raising his hand to high-five Natasha.

"Of course, it's us, nothing can go wrong," Natasha said smiling and high-fived Liam.

1 week later.

After learning that his child was going to be a girl. Liam was assigned a mission to eradicate an organization that had been trafficking Chitauri technology. That took him 3 days.

After finishing the mission, he returned to the US.

When he arrived home the first thing, he did was kiss Natasha and kiss her belly. Then he started to buy things to assemble in the girl's room, but Natasha had to intervene because he had bought too many things.

"Hey, we're having a child no 20, you bought 200 changes of clothes for the little girl where are we going to put all those clothes," Natasha said looking at the purchases on the computer.

[a/n: I know I exaggerate, it's just that Liam is so happy xD].

Liam ignoring Natasha turned this way to her and asked.

"How many stuffed animals do you think we should buy about 20 or 30?" asked Liam excitedly.

Natasha listening to Liam rolled her eyes and let the man do what I want, went to the living room and sat on the couch, and said while touching her slightly swollen belly.

"Your daddy spoils you too much and you are not even born yet, imagine when you are born," Natasha said with love like that to her daughter while talking about Liam.

1 month later.

It was late February and Liam was leaving the SHIELD base because he had finished a mission and had come back to report, just as he got in the car the system sent him a Mission.

[a/n: I don't remember the dates, so I made them up.]

[Helping Tony Stark/Iron-Man kill Aldrich Killian]

[Rewards]

- Teleportation (The user can teleport 2 times per day to places he visited or saw).

Liam seeing the skill it gave him was excited because it was a skill that in the future would serve him well.

Then he waited a few days and saved Harold before the place exploded. Liam with his suit and a mask, arrived at the place and Harold was fighting against a bald and saw that the other was lying on the ground to explode, then he arrived at the side of the bald pierced with his hand the heart of the same and fell dead, arrived at the side of the one that was about to explode, picked him up, flew out and threw him with all his strength into the air where it exploded thus saving Harold with some injuries that were taken to the hospital anyway and the store did not explode.

Tony upon hearing of the attack went to the hospital and saw Harold being treated he had a broken arm, but he was fine he could talk and everything. Tony, taking the attack against him, told the media that if the Mandarin was up for a 1vs1 against him and gave him his home address for him to show up.

Liam watching the news saw what Tony said and was surprised because he thought this was not going to happen since Harold was not that hurt, but some things could not be changed. Calling Tony, he told him that in a few days he would come to his house to talk about the Mandarin to which Tony said come on there was no problem.

Two days later arriving at Tony's house with his suit and a mask because there were reporters everywhere. Parking in front of the door Jarvis saw it was Liam and let him in. Upon entering the house Jarvis told him to go to the basement as Tony was there. After meeting Tony, they chatted for a while until they saw someone entering their house without authorization and they both left to see who it was and if it was Maya Hansen.

After meeting with Maya, Pepper showed up and they talked for a while. Maya was looking at Liam because she had never seen him before and he was wearing a mask.

Liam went outside because he knew that the helicopters were not far away and if he was right, he had seen them, Liam flew toward the helicopters destroying them, they didn't even notice until they were all destroyed because of the new speed he could do it quietly.

Returning to Tony's house the 3 people inside looked at him stunned to which Liam said.

"You're welcome, I just saved your house," Liam said laughing, but it didn't show through his mask.

Tony and Pepper came out of their daze and thanked him for saving them, Maya who was next to him looked at him with a touch of resentment and Liam ignored her for now.

Tony seeing that the cowards attacked with several helicopters, got angry and decided to end this and asked Liam to go with him to look for this mandarin.

Two days passed and Liam and Tony had found his location so they went to it. Upon Liam's arrival, they infiltrated the house and discovered that this Mandarin was not the real mastermind, it was Aldrich Killian. Out of nowhere jumped a bunch of people who were altered soldiers.

Liam killed two of them and told Tony over the intercom to let them capture him so they could take him to Killian. Liam retreated and let them capture Tony, chased them until they reached a facility, spent 30 minutes, and entered.

Entering destroying the roof he saw that Killian and Maya were talking to Tony, to which he said.

"You took too long, were you having a beer or something," Tony said resentfully.

Liam to this laughed and threw a bracelet at Tony that stuck to his wrist which caused him to call his suit.

After they started fighting Liam killed Killian by piercing his heart and took care of the rest with Tony. Liam remembering that they had also captured James Rhodes/Iron Patriot saved him.

After Liam finished with Jarvis's help they hacked into Killian's database and saw that the Vice President was working with Killian. Upon learning of this James called his superior, told him of the situation and the VP was arrested.

With all the culprits either arrested or dead, Liam returned home to his beautiful wife and unborn child.
