13: A New Planet

[Chapter 13: A New Planet]

In a serene corner of a small planet, surrounded by towering mountains and a lush forest, a sudden gust of wind blew through, causing chaos and destruction in its wake. As the leaves rustled and the trees swayed, a shimmering spacecraft slowly descended from the sky, landing in the midst of the chaos. The vessel, once invisible, became visible again as the main gate opened, and an army of beings emerged from within. Leading the charge was none other than Loki, who surveyed his surroundings with a keen eye, scanning the area for the best place to begin their journey.

After a brief moment of contemplation, Loki made the decision to venture into the dense forest, where he had noticed signs of a nearby civilization. With his army following closely behind, Loki forged ahead, navigating through the trees with ease. The journey was treacherous, with the ground uneven and the trees obstructing their path.

After a moment of walking, Loki snapped his finger, and four snakes were summoned. A hiss escaped his mouth and following his orders, the four snakes each went in a different direction.

He then placed his hand on his right eye and murmured something. The eye began glowing and showed a vertical pupil resembling those of a snake.

In his vision, he could see what one of the snakes was seeing. It was a spell that Odin had gifted him as a birthday gift some years ago. It was the spell that the Allfather used to see through his ravens. "Success," he murmured with a small smile.

Suddenly, another hiss came from behind him. {and me?} it seemed to say.

Loki turned and looked at a three meters long snake. Seeing his height, one would easily doubt that this snake was a baby only hatched a few days ago. The snake was a Jormungandr, the biggest snake race in the universe.

He smiled, {You stay here with me}.

{Can I hunt here? The animals seem really tasty, I could even gift you one, papa} asked the Jormungandr with a childish voice.

{Do as you wish, just come back in an hour, and don't stay near us.}

{Thank you!}

Loki shook his head and started watching what the four snakes saw and figured out a good place to camp. "Follow me," he said, waving his hand toward their goal. They soon arrived there, Loki looked at the sky and saw that the night was coming near.

"We'll camp here and begin tomorrow morning. The Bifrost beacon will be placed in the middle of the camp, it will need constant guarding for two days." He said before flying in the air and looking at the horizon.

While they wouldn't exactly need a camp, it was something that was advised to him, as the new soldiers needed to adapt themselves to this planet. As they grow older and more experienced, they won't need that anymore.

A few hours had passed, night had fallen, and Loki was seated with his legs crossed and his eyes closed.

"Your Highness?" a voice was heard coming from out of his tent.

"Enter," said Loki, opening his eyes. Two of his guards entered, in their hands was a small man with green skin. His hands and legs were tightly cuffed. His face was bleeding and he had a hard time standing.

Loki's eyes widened. It was one of the inhabitants of this planet, a Vorcillian. The guards seemed angry at him. It didn't look like he just wandered here. "Did he do something?" asked Loki.

One of the soldiers nodded, "Yes. He wanted to burn our camp. We then found out he was a slave trader, as well as a traitor, because of his unending greed."

A small smirk grew on Loki's face. He stood up and approached the whimpering prisoner. "You know, even I have morals. I don't blindly use my power to take what I want. But when they are people like you, I don't care anymore. If you chose this path, then you must be aware that what you did can be reversed."

He then placed one of his fingers on the Vorcillian and whispered, "Now show me". The alien fell to the ground, his eyes rolled out, while Loki penetrated his mind, in other words, he mind raped him.

This world was even harsher than what Loki had anticipated. This man's memory was the proof. He was a slave trader who would destroy tribes, rape the women and then submit them to slavery. Of course, not only the women but also the men were raped, just by different people. They would then work 20 hours a day with minimal food and water, while the only break they would get would be when one of the 'higher Vorcillian' chose them as their (sex)toy.

Even in tribes, the chieftain could rape someone without repercussions. Parents would rape their children and call it a day, while the defeated had no right.

Wars were an everyday occurrence. The ones in power would wage war without any concern for their inhabitants. Even when someone controlled almost all the land, they still wanted more. Their greed was even bigger than Midgardians.

To know more about other tribes, torture was very popular, sometimes even used as an attraction. They played with others of their races as if they were mindless beasts and thus decided to do everything they wanted with them, no matter how immoral it was.

Cannibalism was also a thing, but less propagated than the others. Apparently, from the memory Loki got, the legs had a really good taste.

Having seen the state of the world, Loki searched for where the Vorcillian came from, and why he was there. Apparently, there was a somewhat weak tribe near here that the man had planned to burn and then use to grow his slavery.

Having collected all the needed information, Loki smiled, as if uncaring about the situation of that world. "Jackpot, that tribe will be perfect!"

He then glanced at the soldiers. "Rejoice, for we have found our first followers."

Both of them looked confused and shivered, even without hearing what he had murmured, as they saw his grin.

"Time to become a true god."
