Chapter 10 Tainted Saint

The two young children walked the path, they're now passed the kingdoms border without trouble. As the took a hidden path, that was used by their parents on special occasions. 

"How do you know this Aubrey?" Janel asked curious, they were never given a map and he didn't know this path even existed. 

An underground tunnel that brings you to a forest, climbing up they saw, that the distance between the kingdom and the forest are waay to far apart.

They walked a short distance, but arrived somehwere far. 

"it's a secret route used by mom and the other adults thay mom knows.." Aubrey responded.

"Then why did mom say there's no other way!? There's this tunnel right? We could've run away!" 

janel half yelled, feeling frustrated with the situation. 

"Mom and dad are righteous people, they swore oath to protect the people, as a way to change their lives.. our life, as much as they'd want to, they just couldn't get to" feeling down Aubrey sighed, she feels like crying but that would break janels soft heart.

"We have to be strong janel, forget about herbs. Momma entrusted us our sword heirlooms, she expects big from us and we should not disappoint mother" She sternly said to janel, gripping his shoulders.

Aubrey may only be an 12 years old girl, a year older than janel. But she has seen more, than ehat a child should witness... she was left traumatised and selected herbalism as her path.

She is smarter than janel and she knows full well, that the promised letters. Weren't going to come, "dont come back ti'll i send a letter" Aubrey replayed the word of her mother.

She trust her mother, she was strong. She did everything ro ensure that Aubrey would never witness, or face the same thing again.

But as much as she wanted to trust those words, they are empty words. Aubrey was not stupid to not notice her mother, casting an oath of promise to them.

(it's clear as day.. she doesn't want us back, there's nothing to return to there, but hell that awaits us) A sob almost escaped her, but she held in and pulled janels hand to continue on their way.

Days have passed**

The two kids safely arrived at the entrance of the black wolves tribe, Their aunt sensed their bone anklets that were gifted to them from their birthdays.

"ARE YOU TWO OKAY!? NO BONES MISSING RIGHT!???! HOW ABOUT FLESH!" She checked their arms, legs, feet and head making sure they're both okay.

They may have been safe but the poor kids were almost malnourished.

(They must've been too depressed because of what happened... oh Analise what am i gonna tell them, they would go crazy when they knew you're dead now... Clent is still missing so he's their onky hope..) They're aunt sigh'ed and hugged them.

"Whats with all the drama?" A young 4'5 tall, silver haired boy popped up out of nowhere, glaring at the two strangers.

"Young master lycus... these two are my nieces, they are curren-" She was about to beg him to let them stay but lycus cut her off.

"Aisya, don't do begging to me.. talk to father yourself, i have no power to let, an outsider in here" He left hurriedly, not wanting to be bothered by the scheming Aisya.

(THIS OLD LADY ISN'T GOING TO DO THIS AGAIN!)

He ran far, and Aisya just watched his back disappear from her sight.

She sigh'ed and picked up the two kids effortlessly, and the we're shocked, and so were Aisya.

"You really need to eat a lot! Just look at how lightweight you are!"  She took them to her camp and, batched and dress them, to cooking them good food.

"Alright let's eat!"She handed them botha bowl of soup with lots of meat and vegetables, they sat down on a long wood and began eating. 

Aisya did everything she could to make their mind astray, from the current problem, but she seemed to have forgotten something herself..

"AISYA!?" An angry growl of his alpha lord echoed, and she shivered slightly in fear. 

A man of 6'7 Tall emerged from the back of her camp, and it was Ramzued, Lycus's father and the current lord of the tribe.

"I sensed an outsider! You didn't even let me know of this or any of my people!? You may be a cherished human because of the glorious achievements of your parents to this tribe, but you challenging my authority and not respecting me.. i can forget all of those old debt if you don't explain now!" He demands in a commanding tone.

Asiya Explained everything and Ramzued, calmed down. He may have calmed himself but it is not an excuse to her disrespect, so she was punsihed with labor without pay.

Asiya was busy packing for her missions that was stacked as punishment, Janel and Aubrey felt guilty troubling their aunt. 

The walked closer to her and pulled the hem of her sleeve, Asiya looked bellow her and saw two cute troubled childrens. 

"We can just do the job for you" janel shyly mumbled, while Aubrey smacked his head.

"Dont be ridiculous janel! You cant even weild a sword!" Aubrey said to him, and janel scratched his head tearing up.

Aisya felt touched, And the two cuties we're attacking her with cuteness. 

(I may die from your cuteness than going to my missions!) She held her heart exaggerating.

"I would love my little warriors help, but this aunt can do very well" She pats their head and set off, for her missions.

Two days passed everyone from the hall, came. Every Species came.. and Aisya was the representative of the her tribe despite being half human. 

She looked around more and her eye's sparkled as she saw the most famous sage, Gerald Sage in the hall.

Everyone was gathering around them, and they were all talking to gerald. But strangely the four girls that followed Gerald kept quiet...
