Chapter 3: His Home

The police came and Alexandria couldn't have been more thankful as she watch Vincenzo talk to them with his arms crossed against his chest.

Mandy run to a very distracted Alexandria and jump on her legs. Alexandria eyes widen and she quickly grab the child before she could slide off her lap and fall to the ground.

Alexandria: "Wow...your heavy (she says and look down at the little girl) Where have you been?"

Mandy: "Daddy locked me in the car but when I saw the cops coming - I picked the lock to get out and see what's happening"

Alexandria: (laugh) "Who taught you?"

Mandy: "Daddy taught me thinking I might need that ability in the future"

Alexandria: "oh"

Mandy: "What's happening? Is daddy in trouble?"

Alexandria: "Nope"

Mandy let out a sigh and look towards her father. Alexandria could see the love the little girl has for Vincenzo. Her eyes are the same shade as her father but she has shoulder length blonde hair instead of her father's shade of black hair.

A few minutes later and he's standing infront of them with a solemn expression.

Alexandria: "What happened?"

Vincenzo: "We're going home and your coming with"

Alexandria: "No no no....(she says and gently place Mandy on the ground as she stand) I have to sort out a few test papers for them next week"

Vincenzo: "I don't normally take no's for an answer princesa"

Alexandria: "I just met you yesterday...I can't just go to your house"

He stare at her solemnly then suddenly she's been thrown over his shoulder. She thrash in his hold and beat his back but he wouldn't let up. Mandy was following behind with an amused expression on her chubby little face.

Vincenzo: "If he gets bail from a family member....your house is the first he'll be targeting"

In truth..she could make sense to his words but that didn't make 'this' any less of a kidnapping scenario and the police is just some miles away so why is she not screaming and kicking?

What the hell is wrong with me? (she thinks chewing on her lips)

A few minutes later and he's putting her in the passengers seat and buckling her up. His close proximity had her heart beating at a very abnormal speed. Her breathing catch in her throat when he turn his face towards her.

Kiss him, Kiss him, Kiss him - (her conscience chant)

He clear his throat then close her door as him and Mandy then get in.

Mandy: "I am so glad your coming home with us"

Wish I could say the same - (she thinks)

Alexandria mouth flop open as she stare at the large three story house. Outside is big but on the inside looks even better. According to Mandy there is six bathrooms, four kitchens, one theatre, a gym, a pool downstairs, a bar in one of the kitchen and two living rooms.

Alexandria: "Your father owns this place?" (she ask with her mouth completely on the floor)

Mandy: "Yup....he's the CEO of this big company"

Vincenzo: "Do you like it?"

Alexandria turn to see him now in a mouthwatering white t-shirt, a house shorts and house slippers.

Atleast one of us has change of clothes - (she thinks bitterly)

Vincenzo: "So.....?" (he ask giving her a knowing smirk)

Alexandria: (blush) "It's beautiful but why live in a place like this only to be a gardener at an elementary school?"

Vincenzo: "To watch over the little troublemaker"

Alexandria give a tiny smile because never in her life has she met a man like him,

Alexandria: "Right" (she says and look up at the gold chandelier above her head)

When she look back down she give a small noise at the back of her throat when she realize how close Vincenzo is to her. She look up in his eyes and gulp at the intensity in them. Her breath hitch as he take another step forward.

What are we doing? (she thinks as her lips part slightly) I just met him.....yesterday
