CHAPTER 11

Prince Aerus pushed Lia's body, not only using physical strength but also spiritual energy. The burst of energy from the tips of his fingers could jolt her body, causing her to flinch backward, dragging her to the floor in a supine state.

The prince's hand pressed on her neck, the other hand gripped both her hands, pinned above her head.

"I have been too patient with you, Your Majesty!" growled Prince Aerus, unsure of what he wanted to do. It seems he just wants to intimidate Lia, as well as teach her a lesson so as not to ridicule his loyal heart to his wife. "And it seems you still don't understand."

"Let me go!" Lia ordered while struggling but her body was exhausted. Her shimmering white dress sunk Prince Aerus' thighs.

"Why should I obey your orders, when you don't do that to me?" Squeaking, Prince Aerus tilted his head in disgust, his pupils still a fiery red. His hands moved to strangle Lia, but before that, she shook her head in fear.

"Don't take off my veil!" asked Lia, choking while wide-eyed. The clearness in her eyes seemed to be cloudy, in stark contrast to her very bright hair.

"Why? What are you afraid of? Do you have a curse? Is your face really ugly?" sneered Prince Aerus. "With an ugly face, you are too confident to offer to be my wife, when my late wife was very beautiful."

Lia should be happy because she got compliments from her husband. And she should be happy because her husband still loves her as much as before. But now the problem was that she wasn't ready to reveal her identity to Prince Aerus. She still wanted to hide and disguise herself, at least after her strength was perfect as well as her body shape.

"Yes," answered Lia without hesitation. "My face is ugly. So don't ever take off my veil!" Her eyes narrowed, even more, her breathing stopped waiting for a response from Prince Aerus. No matter how hard she tried to break free, she failed in the end. "I beg!"

"Seeing you drop your pride on me has proved something is shocking on your face." Prince Aerus's eyebrow rose "And it looks like it would be very pleasant to see."

"Please do not!" Lia's eyes widen, teary. Her voice even trembled. "Are you mad at me because I made fun of your wife? I apologize. I won't do it again, even if it's a fact."

"What?" shrill Prince Aerus, even more, angry because of Lia's outrageous attitude. "You should sincerely apologize."

"But I've done it."

"No," Prince Aerus shook his head. "You didn't. Even you gave another mockery to my wife."

"Alright, alright!" Lia cursed because she failed to rebel again and free herself from the clutches of Prince Aerus. "I apologize. I will never do it again."

"You have to say that humans are on the same level as us. And you must say that Centraxus did wrong my wife."

"Okay!" Lia finally gave up, even though maybe now is the only way to meet her husband. The rest she had to recover her strength to get out of Centraxus, or even Unirex. And it would probably take more than a hundred years.

For a Gigatrum it may not matter. However, it is undeniable that she was once a human. It can't be denied, and it can't be denied. Longing tore her as she was about to be reborn. Her heartbeat pounded as she continued to call out her husband's name, just so she could survive and come back to life.

"Humans have the same level as us. And Centraxus is indeed guilty of your wife, Nianri Xilia."

"How do you know my wife's name? Only the Hexodar side knows about it." Prince Aerus' eyes narrowed suspiciously.

Lia coughed, trembling from her stupidity. Even though she had become a queen on a big planet, unfortunately, she still carried her old personality to this day. Like hereditary genetics.

"I-I think the former king and queen told me."

"They shouldn't know," denied Prince Aerus.

"Aren't those two her parents? Haven't you told the previous kings and queens about that? So that's why they were able to find out her full name. But yeah, unfortunately, they didn't help her to become a full Gigatrum." Lia started sweating because she had to cover up one lie with another. "I'm sorry about that. You guys have been through a tough time you did a lot for her, including marrying her secretly when she was drunk. So I know you must feel bad about this."

"I've never told anyone about our secret marriage to anyone, except my mother and father." Prince Aerus grew more suspicious, and Lia was even more cornered. "Who are you?"

"Huh?" Lia's eyes jumped wildly to various angles, while her breath was held in nervousness. "I-I think I went too far in looking for information about you guys. Hahaha, yeah, that's for sure."

"The married world of an Elfagos cannot be penetrated by just anyone. So you can't get this information from anyone other than my parents, while they couldn't possibly do that."

Lia was cornered, damn it, when Prince Aerus' eyes watched her more closely, and when his hand drew closer to her face. "Don't take off my veil."

"But I have to," said the prince, then removed the veil on Lia's face.
