CHAPTER 10

"You've gone mad!" Prince Aerus growled without thinking, shaking his head in disbelief. How can a girl offer a man a fake marriage just for the sake of power? Moreover, she knows that the man is a widower who loves his late wife, who wants to keep his heart and love only for his late wife.

Lia's courage is suited to the rumors circulating, but her wise and careful nature seems to stray far from anything.

Prince Aerus immediately dashed away leaving Lia, not wanting to discuss any further. Maybe he could even return to Hexa right then and there to avoid her. Or at least he could go to the banquet hall right now, huddled with the chiefs of another planet, feigning interest in their discussion.

But once again she confronted him, stretched out her hand which created an energy field, and gave him a scornful look.

"You are a fool, Prince, to reject a queen like me and still keep a lowly human like your wife." Lia ridiculed herself, taking the biggest risk she had. Seeing the rebellious Prince Aerus hurt her, but on the other hand, she didn't want her husband to leave this discussion. "She's not even pretty, nor is she strong. Her body has a great curse so the previous kings and queens refused to help her.

So do you think her death was because of us? Of course not! That's because she deserved to die! Your wife doesn't deserve to live! So what's the point of holding on when you can see paradise and luxury before your eyes?" Lia spread her arms in the air as if to hold back the sky and everything in it, grinning when she saw Prince Aerus' pupils dilate with a red flame.

She knew that the prince was stirred by her words. His veins seemed to protrude from exerting too much force, wanting to free themselves from the energy that Lia had released, which was currently binding Prince Aerus so that he could not go anywhere.

"Shut up!" roared Prince Aerus in the end, having failed to leave the point where he was now. In his hands like sparks, as a form of friction between his and Lia's strength. He exerted quite a lot of energy because he was too irritated by Lia's mockery of his wife.

No one can do that, not even the universe can. His wife will remain the most special and most precious woman to him.

"Why are you so angry when I'm telling the truth?" squeaked Lia, suppressing the energy from her hands again after feeling the prince revolt. "Your wife doesn't deserve to live. Her birth was not wanted by anyone, even her parents threw her away and made her a human, not recognizing her as a child." Her heart rumbled when she said that. Even though she knew her parents had regretted not saving her in the past, that feeling of sadness and heartache couldn't be removed easily, especially since she was in the same life. She's still the same soul, at the same time. She just had a new body.

"She's not wanted by anyone, maybe even the universe doesn't want her. I heard that Mirah's energy in your body can't rise if you don't meet her. However, I think there is a scientific explanation for that. Perhaps you shouldn't have married her, Prince, and embarrassed Hexa and the other high races because of this. Human…. lowly and backward race. They're not even better than the most retarded people on any planet."

Prince Aerus lost his temper. He seemed to be possessed when suddenly an enormous power emerged from within his body. It seemed that it was the impetus of his anger as well as his eyes that were dark with disgust. The energy that was entangling him exploded, causing Lia's body to lose its balance and fall to the ground.

The prince's movements were like wild animals at a speed tens of times that of the guild. His legs darted and jumped on top of Lia's body, overpowering her with anger, squeezing her as if to crush her.

Lia's eyes blurred from the impact on the back of her head, then widened when she saw Prince Aerus already on top of her, strangling her neck. "P-Prince!" she snapped, trying to push the prince away, but her strength was drastically reduced by the explosion she had just experienced.

Her strength is not yet fully formed, that's why she can't leave Unirex until he becomes a full Gigatrum.

"You are wrong to make trouble with me, Queen!" said Prince Aerus, more terrifying than a troll's growl. "You shouldn't insult my wife, let alone boast about your race and uphold the decisions of the previous kings and queens. They're murderers, you too. You all have killed my wife, stripped her of her right to live a normal life like a Gigatrum as well as a noble. If you live as my wife in a second…. you, not necessarily you can be strong through it. So shut up your honorable mouth before I lose my temper!"

This was the first time Lia had seen Prince Aerus angry like that, the most terrible anger she had ever seen, and she couldn't believe it was being bestowed on her. There was a strange bitterness in her chest, a sense of longing and also pride, the pride that her husband loved her that much.

"I expressed what was on my mind. My opinion about people will not change, and that's my right. Your wife is too despicable to be allowed to live!" As soon as Lia said that, suddenly Prince Aerus attacked her.
