Seeing Simon and Betty in front of me, I know I'm screwed in this amazing universe.
This story begins with my death, I do not want to specify the exact cause, nor go into details about my life before I died
that is now in the past, I will only say that my life was somewhat sadder than average, but beyond that everything in me was and is average
I wasn't smarter or more athletic, just an ordinary person with his problems and plans like everyone else, although that doesn't matter at the moment
I'm floating in an infinite darkness, without any other sense beyond my own conscience or soul or whatever you want to believe, why am I not panicking? you may ask, the answer to that is simple, to have emotions, you first need a brain and a body
two things that I no longer have
and so continue floating in the void without feeling fear, panic or uncertainty due to the reasons already explained
I could entertain you with a monologue about myself, meditating and seeing my life from another perspective now that I have no emotions, but it sounds very boring
though that's literally all i can do right now
after an indefinite time, it's hard to tell in the absolute nothingness, I can feel my consciousness slowly fading away and entering eternal sleep
I accepted my end, without thinking too much, that would not do me any good, so I waited patiently.....
But just at the moment I thought my existence would come to an end, a flash of light abruptly woke me up from my unconsciousness.
I was briefly taken aback by the abrupt change of scenery, only to be assailed a few moments later by my basic senses I had thought lost, with my vision somewhat blurred, my hearing clear, and my sense of smell congested, plus a new sense of touch oddly sensitive to the mix.
I can affirm that this was the most confusing moment I had in my entire existence, and after maybe a few minutes or hours, difficult to know, I was finally able to get used to all the nostalgic sensations of a body, although I could not control my limbs for some reason
I felt imprisoned in a very warm and comfortable cell, along with a strange and uncontrollable urge to cry for my mom (so embarrassing)
Without being able to control my impulses, I let out the crying, although instead of hearing the painful sound of a teenager crying, the irritating sound of a baby calling its parents was emitted.

and in a moment everything went !click!, the slightly blurred vision, the surprisingly clear hearing, the congested smell, the sensitive skin, the lack of control over my limbs, the warm and comfortable prison plus the uncontrollable crying

Now you are probably wondering, is this a common fanfiction scenario where the MC reincarnates as a baby and then gets an OP system that makes him invincible to end up living with his huge harem?

Now, coming back to my current situation, despite my slightly blurred vision, why don't we check the surroundings?
From what I can deduce analyzing the whole scenario and my situation, I was a baby, possibly a few months old, I was in a crib, wrapped in warm blankets, positioned on my back looking at the ceiling and part of the walls, the place looks slightly deteriorated, but nothing too worrying
while I was still trying to gather more information, I could see a couple of giant shadows approaching my crib, maybe my parents?, they must have been attracted by my confused crying moments ago
a few seconds later i can finally see my parents clearly
The man, somewhat olive skin, with very dark brown hair, round blue glasses, what looked like a jacket over a somewhat yellow shirt and a red bow, somewhat handsome in appearance, looked at me with affection
The woman, fair skinned, with light brown hair, wearing rather large glasses and perhaps a green turtleneck sweater, was also looking at me fondly.
Leaving aside the creepiness of being looked at fondly by two unknown giants, their appearances seemed familiar to me for some reason.
The woman saw me looking at the two of them with confusion, I suppose that seeing a confused baby is funny since it made her smile, I could see how she approached me, she put her arms around my small body, lifting me up and positioning me in front of her face
"Hello my pretty Blanche, how was the nap my little prince?"
I realized that I could understand his language as soon as the woman spoke to me
"Look at him, isn't he beautiful Simon?
"oh Betty, he is the son of my dear princess, of course he is beautiful, he will be a great historian like his handsome father"
"haha, or a scientist like his pretty mother"
The adults continued talking without noticing that their baby, already pale, now looked like a sheet of paper with his eyes wide open in surprise and some desperation, after deducing where and with whom he was.
Simon? Glasses? Historian? Princess? Betty? Shit.
I'm in adventure time.
PS: I'm going to take some time to get each chapter out, since I want it to be canonically accurate, and respect the original story
I don't want to rush and leave many plot holes, I want it to be a good novel, I even made a timeline of this story to make it as complete as possible
