Chapter 11

Astrid Pov:

 I am on my way to the cove since it is 17:30 and it takes about 20 minutes to get there.

(Insert Romantic Flight Scene)

 We go back to the cove and I thank Hiccup and Toothless for the Flight. "By the way can I get a dragon?" The question surprises him a bit.

 "Yes later this week we have a thing for the Seafaring Program, It is to go out on boats and come back 3 days later." He says and I am wondering where he is going with this.

 "I know an Island with a dragon that I think is perfect for you. Though the species will be a secret." Seeing how he wasn't going to tell me I can't wait and I am left thinking about it. "Ok." I say.

 I go back home for the Night and Retire.

 For the next few days I do my chores and work hard during the program gobber is running for Seafaring. The the assessment that Hiccup was talking about starts tomorrow.

 He said to go to Thorfinn for the location for some reason. When I arrive Thorfinn is prepping Hiccups ship for him and I call. "Thorfinn!" He sees that I am here and signals that he will be a minute.

 He comes out of the ship and throws me a piece of paper. "The location is on that map." He calls.

 I return to the village and go to the Great Hall for dinner. While we are eating everybody is talking about the assessment and I ask. "Where are you guys going." They are a bit surprised since I almost never start a conversation.

 "I am going north to prove that I can go anywhere." Snotlout says. "We are going east." The twins say. "I am going west." Fishlegs said. "I am going south, Astrid where are you going." Hiccup says. "I am going Southeast." I say

 Hiccup does not seem surprised even though that I am actually going Southwest to his island.

 We finish Dinner and I retire for the night.

 In the morning I wake up at 6:00 and we leave at 7:00. I go down to the docks with my stuff and prep my ship as I see Hiccup's ship sailing in. How did he wake up before me and why wasn't his ship in the docks.

 I learn that I shouldn't be surprised after all he is Hiccup. I go up to his ship and board finding him below deck putting the locked storage box he and Thorfinn brought to his hut.

 "What's that." I ask catching him by surprise.

 "Nothing." he quickly responds clearly wanting to keep it under wraps. "So what is going on down here." I hear from behind me and turn around to see Tuffnut.

 "I was asking him about the locked storage box." I say wanting him to join in and ask. He takes the hint and asks Hiccup. "What is in the storage box Hiccup." 

 "Alright fine it is something from my trip." He says and we aren't surprised because we already knew that. Seeing how this is going nowhere I leave and see everyone coming down to prep their ships.

 I go back to the Great Hall for breakfast and I run into Einar. "What are you up to." I ask.

 "Heading to the smithy for work." He responds and continues walking towards it. I continue walking to the Great Hall and have Breakfast.

 On my way back I run into Stoick as we head down to the docks. "Good Luck." He says to me for some reason but ok.

 I arrive and get on my ship and everyone else is on their way down and hop on their ship when gobber says. "Sorry but you guys will be in teams me and Stoick have picked." That is surprising but what are the teams

 "Team 1: Snotlout and Tuffnut, Team 2 Fishlegs and Ruffnut, and Team 3: Hiccup and Astrid. Get your stuff and move to your boat now. I won't be delaying the leaving time." Gobber says

 I quickly get my stuff moved over to Hiccups ship with his help. As I am doing that Ruffnut is moving her stuff over to Fishlegs ship with His help.

 From what I hear Team 2 are going east, Snotlout and Tuffnut Southeast, and me and Hiccup south.

 It was made that way so we can possibly find new Islands I think. but why none to the west

 We head out and I notice that the Cargo Hold is locked as we leave so I ask. "Why is the Cargo Hold locked?" His Response is a little bit surprising.

 "I brought toothless along for help though he can't be seen by people if you remember." I can see why and then I wonder when and realize that it was during breakfast.

 "But can't he just fly?" I ask.

 "No because he has a prosthetic wing." He says and I see reason why. As we get out from berk and view distance from other people he unlocks the hold.

 Toothless comes out and we put my stuff below deck. Then Hiccup grabs a box that is locked and opens it up.

 I look inside and see an outfit along with a Sword and a Triangle? "Hiccup what is with that stuff and the Triangle?" I say surprising him.

 "Oh this, it is from my adventure. The suit is for flying, the sword is for fighting, and there is no triangle just a collapsible shield.

 We continue on for a bit when an island comes into view and Hiccup says. "That is where I stayed and your dragon is." At this moment I am still wondering what type it is.

 "We will be following a stream inland and docking by a waterfall." Hiccup says. "Also you should pick out a name for your dragon."

 Realizing he is right I do that until we dock and tie off. We go around the mountain a bit and go to a cave and we go in when I hear a roar.

 "What was that." I ask Hiccup

 "Your dragon, c'mon." he says and we go down.
