CH-10 : Armament Haki

Pride six years old this year.It's been around six months since Tsuru left for marineford, well she stayed for around half a month before leaving.In those half a month Pride got to know Tsuru better and she has a good heart.It's just that she will follow marineford's order no matter what, just like Garp.

In that half-month Grandma Tsuru also got to know about how monstrously talented Pride was, she never saw anyone else with this kind of talent.Even though she didn't saw Pride fighting she could tell that Pride was strong.After all she was a Vice-admiral with years of experience even though Pride was strong he wasn't on the level that Tsuru can not perecive his strengthen.

So before leaving she always tried to convince Pride in joining marine.After all with Pride talent if he become anything else other then marine, then world government will think of him as a threat and try to kill him in every possible way.If world government announce Pride as a wanted person he will be seen as marine's enemy and they will have to fight.

But to Tsuru, Pride was like a grandchild and she didn't want to fight against her grandchild.So,she tried to convince Pride into joining marine.But Pride always says no while adding that, "I have a bigger dream grandma Tsuru, so no matter how many time you ask me my answer will be always no."

Tsuru could only smile helplessly after seeing how determined Pride was about not joining marine.

Back to present~~

Pride's Pov~

Right now in the middle of the forest I was standing in front of a tree which was 3 meter long and 1meter wide.Then my arms suddenly turned black as if it was coated with black iron.After my hand became like an iron hand I exhaled a deep breath after a few second my arms slowly started to emit deep purple aura.

The purple aura slowly covered both of my arms,then I used my right and threw punch toward the tree.

*BOOMMM!!*

The 1 meter wide tree now had a big hole around half a meter wide on it.After seeing the the damage I had caused to the tree a satisfied smile came to my face and he nodded.Then my arm returned to normal.

"It really a good progress.Even though i still need work more on the Armament Flow skill but i am still satisfied with the progress i made in the past six months."

Yes,the supernatural power that I used just now was know as "Armament Haki".After grandma Tsuru left for marineford I started to practice armament haki and the way to learn armament haki wasn't that hard as I read about it in the manga in my past life.

I knew that haki was the manifestation of one's spirit energy and in one piece world everyone has spirit energy.As for me, I have the bloodline of "Hanma & D" so I didn't have any shortage of spirit energy.Also because of my king-level comprehending ability I was able to learn how to manifest my spirit energy into haki with in a short time.

So just after three month I fully mastered how to coat my arms with armament haki which is called "Armament coating".

As for the aura a few moment ago which had covered my armament coated arms is called " Armament Flow".

But I still needs a little more time to fully master this Armament Flow skill.

I then muttered, "Status" as I wanted to see the over all progress I made...

I saw that my bloodline progress was about to reach 50 percent then and I also made good progress in gravity float.

After seeing all the progress I thought, "Now that i have made a satisfying progress in armament haki i should start training in observation haki"

After thinking about it I turned around and started walking toward the area where Mark was training.

Mark's Pov:

Mark was 8 years old this year...

For past six and a half-month Mark was doing the same training which was slashings at air with his sword.As for the sword it was just a normal sword which Pride had given him.Pride just asked Rebecca for a sword saying that he will be training Mark in swordsmanship and Rebecca just brought it for him.

But Pride didn't teach Mark any move as he himself wasn't a sword user.The only thing he thought Mark was how hold sword and how to slash rightly with a sword.

After that Pride said, "Mark the first thing you will be doing for your sword training is slashing at the air and you will be doing this training for next six months."

Mark who heard Pride became shocked and shouted,"WHAT!! Six months! You are saying that i will be only slashing with sword for next six month are you joking.I thought you will teach me cool sword moves but you are saying me to keep slashing for six months!!"

Seeing Mark's shouting Pride came behind him and slaped Marks head while saying,"stop shouting like an idiot and how the hell would i teach you sword moves? Do you think i am a swordsman?"

Pride then continued while looking toward Mark with serious eyes and said, "Mark believe me and just do what i am saying, after six months you will know why i told you to do this...."

Back to present~~

Thinking about the past Mark said,"Now i know why he made me traine slashing for the past six months.He wanted me ge to get a closer understanding of sword and how it works"

After six months of continues slashing using sword Mark now felt like he has a connection with sword and he now feels like whenever he holds a sword it becomes a part of his body.

While he was thinking about all this he heard Pride voice and turned around.

Pride's Pov~

I waved my hand with a wide grin, "Hey Mark why are you dazing around in the time of training?"

Mark turned toward me and said, "I was just thinking that i am ready for the next training in swordsmanship"

I thought for a while then said, "Hmmm~ well i also think that you are ready for your next training but before that i will need your help with something"

Mark was surprised hearing that I need his help and titled his head while asking, "What help do you need from me"

I just smiled mysteriously while saying, "You will know about it tomorrow. Let's return home for today."

After that both of us began to walk toward the village.
