Chapter 191: Marvis is Alyssa !

Thomas explained how everything happened until she left the hospital with Marvis. This story was leaving everyone in daze.

" If you don't believe everything i am saying, I can bring all the waiting mothers that Marvis used to stay with at the hospital. Its unfortunate that Alyssa who was her best friend died, But her mother is also here to say something. "

This was not part of their plan and Alyssa was surprised that Gladys was here. She stepped forward slowly and the cameras turned to look at her.

" I am Gladys Stuart. " She introduced herself and also gave in the part of the story that she knew.

" My late daughter Alyssa came with Marvis from the hospital and we stayed staying with her after we got know all that she has passed through....." She continued and came to her conclusion.

" Most of you have been wondering why most of the things Marvis does try to imitate Alyssa's. It because of the strong bond that the two had. Hope this is enough to prove that Marvis and her father are innocent. " She concluded.

" Marvis, Let's go inside.." Gladys held her hand and the four went inside the building.

Of course there were no more questions to this. Alyssa heaved a sigh of relief after this.

Calcel was felt with guilt after watching them. He hated himself for being the only person who didn't believe in Marvis the moment she needed him the most.

He immediately got up and Ronnie looked at him.

" Sir, Where are you going ? " Ronnie asked.

" I have to meet Marvis right now . " He said and rushed to the door but the moment he opened David was standing there.

" Father ..! " He called surprised to see him.

" Calcel, We need to talk ! " David said.

" Father, I am sorry but I have to see Marvis right now. " Calcel argued and walked away but David pulled him back inside.

" Excuse us ! " David said to Ronnie who immediately left them and David locked the door .

" Father..." Calcel called impatiently.

David looked angry for a reason Calcel didn't know and threw to him the envelope he was holding in his hands.

" What's this ? " Calcel asked.

" Read it yourself ! " David said and sat on the sofa.

Calcel opened the envelope and all he could see were DNA results.

" What's this all about ? " Calcel questioned.

" That's Gladys' and Marvis' DNA Results ! " David yelled.

" What ? " Calcel even became more confused.

" Calcel, How could you be so blind to notice that Marvis is Alyssa ? " David quarreled.

Calcel shook his head in disbelief and perplex. " Father, wait...you..mean that Marvis is Alyssa ? " He questioned to make sure that he had heard it right.

" Yes. That's 99.9% that Gladys and Marvis are related. Didn't you ever wonder why Marvis' voice and actions were exactly like Alyssa's ? " David asked.

Calcel's mind indeed went back to the moments he had spent with Marvis. Her voice,her smile, the deep eyes and actions. Even most of the statements she used to make that Alyssa had told him before. Now he really clicked this right .

" Father, How did you find out this ? " He asked.

" After the day Derrick and Matt sent the live video about Marvis, I got a secret investigator to look into her background. The old Marvis could never sing or act, and her voice and actions were very different from this one. Then I remembered that she is currently behaving like Alyssa and remember the two had an accident on the same day. So i figured out that after the accident the doctors mistook their identities and I decided to do the DNA test. " David explained.

Calcel's eye released a tear. " I was very stupid and blind. How didn't I notice in time ? " He cried.

David smiled and said. " I think you did. And that's why you still fell in love with her. "

" Father, I must see her right now. " He said begging for David's permission and nodded with a smile.

Calcel took this for an approval and then ran out.

" Thank you all for being with me. " She said the three.

" We did our part Marvis. " Robert said.

" Aunty Gladys, Why did you know about this ? " She asked because she had not talked to her.

" Yesterday Doctor Thomas visited me and told me everything. " Gladys said with a smile.

" We actually have something important to tell you. " Thomas said and looked at both Robert and Gladys for approval. They nodded their heads.

" What is it ? " Alyssa asked anxiously.

The previous night ...

After finding out that Marvis must be Alyssa, Thomas tried to get in contact with Gladys which after he visited her at the orphanage.

It was at night and Gladys was going to bed when she was told that she has a visitor.

To her Thomas was a stranger but when he saw her smiled.

." You are ? " She asked.

" I am Doctor Thomas. "

" Doctor Thomas, How may I help you ? " Gladys asked.

" Do you know anyone called Marvis Thompson ? " Thomas asked.

" I do.. Why do you ask me that ? " Gladys asked anxiously.

" I am the doctor who used to take care of Alyssa and Marvis. "

" Oh, I am sorry for not recognizing you. "

" I just want to ask if you ever came in touch with Marvis again after the accident.."

" I did..why are you asking all these questions ? "

" As a good mother. If you ever heard Marvis' voice and watched her videos, I am sure you should be knowing already that Marvis is your daughter. " Thomas proclaimed.

Gladys was surprised by this. " How did you know ? " She asked in panic.

" Mrs Stuart, Don't be scared. I am here to do you good. " Thomas said to calm get down

" You must know the situation She is going through right now. Don't you want to help her ? " He asked.

" Of course I wanted to help her but i barely know something about her past . " Gladys spoke sadly.

" You don't have to say much. Tomorrow we shall be at Hopkinsville media. Anything you say will help. " Thomas said to her.

" But you can't tell her that she is Alyssa .."

" Why ? " Thomas frowned.

" You know Calcel is in love with Marvis. It will get weird if he gets to know that she is Alyssa. " Gladys reasoned.

" Don't be wrong Mrs Stuart. Remember that right now Calcel and Alyssa broke up, If we let them no it may help or not. But we have to tell her. "

" What is it that you want to tell me ? " Alyssa asked.

" Marvis, You are..." Gladys as still talking when they heard a voice call her from behind.

" MARVIS !! "

They all turned around only to be shocked by Derrick's presence.

He came to them in fury and grabbed her hand.

" What are you doing here ? " She asked.

" I need to talk to her . Excuse me ! " He said and dragged her away from them.

" Aly..." Gladys was calling to follow them but Thomas said.

" It's just a talk. Just let them be.."
