The Turtle

"9,999. 10,000. Finished." Goku said as he stopped doing his pull-ups in front of Bulma's house.

When he was living alone he have no access to electricity he developed a habit of training his body whenever he have free time.

Of course, he also knew that his new body possesses some kind of superhuman strength and seems to feed off his intense training like some kind of parasite.

It was sort of like an addiction but he didn't mind much as he believes it was nothing more than something to help the time pass more quickly in his lonely life.

Now when he started to travel with bulma he found out that it was difficult to cut off his addiction.

"Huuuuu." Goku breathed out.

He then punched a rock and leaves his fist mark on the rock.

Then suddenly he noticed a giant turtle nearby.

The turtle was gigantic. It might be even bigger than Goku.

"A turtle? That's strange there is no water nearby." Goku thought.

"Well, I wonder if bulma has some sort of a giant pot that can fit that animal," Goku said as he went into the house to wake Bulma up.

"Hey, bulma. Wake up." Goku said as he shakes her body to wake her up.

"What?" Bulma asked him as she opened her eyes.

"I met a really big turtle and I wanted to cook it. So do you have any pots that I can use?" Goku asked.

"A turtle? What are you talking about? We are nowhere near the ocean or the sea." Bulma said to Goku.

"If you don't believe me why don't you come and see it yourself," Goku said to bulma.

After a while.

"A pot to put a giant turtle in," Bulma said as she rubbed her eyes and comes out of the house.

She wanted to see the turtle that Goku was talking to her about with her own eyes.

As she didn't believe a turtle was in the place where they were staying.

"You were right? There is a turtle here." Bulma said as she saw the turtle.

"It's a sea turtle what it is it doing here?" Bulma asked.

"Excuse me. I seem to be lost here. Can you give me some seawater?" The turtle said as he saw bulma and Goku.

"This one also talks?" Goku was surprised again.

It was not common for him to see animal talks.

"First the pterodactyl and now turtles? Man the forest I lived in was such a boring place." Goku said.

"Seawater? I only have tap water. I will put some salt in it for you wait a bit." Bulma said as she walked indoors to get the turtle something to drink.

"So how did you end up here," Goku asked the turtle.

"Well. It's been a year since I left the ocean to search for mushrooms. And I got lost. All this time I am travelling around to find my way back you see." The Turtle said.

"The ocean. Do you mean the one in the south?" Bulma asked as she returned with a water bucket.

The turtle drinks the water that was brought to him and thanks Bulma.

"Thank you very much," he said.

"Well, the ocean is 120 km from here," Bulma said as she looked at the map from the magazine that she brought with her while she was getting the water.

"Bulma how long do you think it would take us to carry the sea turtle to the ocean?" Goku asked.

"No way. We only have 30 days and there is no way that I am wasting my time on a stupid turtle." Bulma said.

"Well, whatever you say." Goku wanted to help the turtle but he also thinks that she has a valid point.

"Well, then I will just cook him up," Goku said as he looked at the turtle.

"Wait. If you agree to let me go I swear I will reward you." The turtle said to Bulma and goku.

"And what do you think you can give us?" Bulma asked the turtle.

"I know a man named the mutan Roshi. He is an expert martial artist and my old friend. If you bring me back to the sea I will ask him to give you a valuable reward." The turtle pleaded.

"An expert martial artist you say." Bulma was interested.

"Goku let's pack our things up," Bulma said to Goku.

"Huh?" Goku was puzzled.

"We are going to the ocean," Bulma said.

She wanted to see the expert martial artist with her own two eyes.

Who knows? He might be the ideal boyfriend that she was searching for.

She was interested in the mysterious martial artist.

"Another human." Goku was also interested but for very different reasons.

"If we hurry we can reach the ocean before the night falls," Bulma said to Goku.

"Another human. A martial artist nonetheless. I wonder if he has a long white beard and a bald head." Goku thought thinking of the most ridiculous appearance for a martial artist.

"Would you stop that, please? You are making me vomit." Bulma said her imagination of a handsome martial artist with six packs and blonde hair was slowly shifting into the appearance that goku was talking about.

"All right strange turtle. We will take you back to sea." Goku said to the turtle.

And that's how they met the one who can currently be considered to be the strongest human on the planet.
