Arc 1-chapter 4

Xiao Tian went to the meeting hall where Elders and clan patriarch Xiao yunfeng are having a meeting. When he arrived everyone turned towards him .

Patriarch- Tian'er , we have decided to train you as a fighter . You cannot waste your life without doing anything.

Elder yi- Patriarch , you don't need to speak so politely to this garba-

Patriarch- Silence ! , Elder yi , he carries our blood and related to us directly .

Elder yi- My apologies patriarch , but how can we allow a kid without any ability to have a dream when he cannot be useful to the clan , not to mention during times like these.

The room went silent because the point Elder yi brought is not false . The winged Dragon family's political situation and power started to decline due to Sacred family . They need to raise in power so, they can't waste any kind of resources now on 'talentless candidates'.

Patriarch- Sigh* Alright Xiao tian , Its your decision then . I will talk to the principal of institute about your job but you can return if you have any change of heart later.

Xiao tian nodded and left. His father looked at him with little concern because he knows how his son is living. Deep down he knows that his son's life is tragic due to his ignorance , Xiao Tian has shown talent in learning things quickly from young age but was looked down due to his mother's background , secretly he hoped that his son has talent in cultivation but seeing his talent amounting to nothing and the look on his son's face this morning made him realize how his son is mentally suffering as he hadn't eaten anything after the test . But he cannot let it show on his face as an elder of the family . Now , he is feeling a little better because he saw clarity in his son's eyes which was blank until this morning . If his son bares any hatred for the family , Xiao Yan might have prioritised the family over his son but looking at his son's willingness to be helpful to winged Dragon family , he felt happy about his son's dedication.

One thing I learnt from Chinese cultivation novels are these kinds of worlds values family above all else . This is mostly common aspect in every CEO type, VRMMO and city cultivation novels too . So , when you mix the family into your request, any thing you ask will have a major chance of attaining succesfully . Holy orchid institute is the largest Library according to the knowledge I gained in our family library . The best thing is most of the books in the library are not translated so , there might be a lot of important information there.

Martial arts are necessary but I have even more problems here which are just regular everyday chores . The hygiene standards of this world are way too low , I am not able to bear with the smell and dirty habits of the people of this world . Commoners and nobles alike are uh! disgusting . Nobles bath everyday but they use herbs to cover their smell , scent can be disgusting too ,when used too much . I was not able to distinguish that in the morning but once I reached the market today ,I realised how technologically backwards this world is. I think I will die due to the habits of people of this world , My cultivation path is set , now I need to take care of everyday life here .

Hopefully , tomorrow I will buy my own house and stay there . I'm not a cooking or farming expert but now I will definitely learn them by any cost . Hey system do you have any quests that'll reward me cooking and farming knowledge.

Magic is nothing but extremely advanced science which covers abstract concepts too , so you reading book from scientific perspective will have even better understanding than directly implanting the knowledge . You cannot grasp it yet but the more you cultivate the more you realize how close these 'mysterious' magic arts really are close to science.

I see , that is indeed true . This felt like some fate type magic system then again even in marvel , Odin and ancient one said that Magic is very advanced science , In watchmen Doctor manhattan , the nigh-omnipotent and omniscient being declared that everything can be scientifically proven and magic is just what's left over of creation . If , the existence of this multiverse is true then there must be Marvel and other universes too so, I cannot dismiss these theories.
