Priestella City and the Witch cult

1 year later after the sanctuary event. Rob and Ainz were watching the world and Subaru in this entire year. Sometimes Ainz goes to explore on his own, other times, he goes to talk with Subaru, making a new friend for him... Thats good. To summarize, the whole year was parkour training for Subaru and some talking with Ainz.

By the way, Subaru is in a new mansion and also the whole gang got used to a big undead spawning out of nowhere while searching Subaru

Also Subaru has a very high reputation, because he killed an archbishop, the great wale and now the rabbit horde. Who are found dead in the middle of the Sanctuary without any external wounds

Right now they got a few visitors, inviting them Priestella city for a party... They accepted. Why? because they want to visit that citiy and also Subaru wants to be a guide for Ainz... Who is right now on his side... being watched by a frightened Joshua and Mimi...

'Ah right, Puck wasnt sleeping... so they got no reason to accept the invitation... but right now Subaru wants to guide Ainz so he accepted... Could this be fate?" I thought while watching from the sky. Its all feels like a movie to me

"An undead!" Mimi screams while running behind Joshua

"Whoa... that brought me memories... its been a whole year since this cliche uh?" Subaru says while reminiscing the many times he has to clean this misunderstanding

"Wait, it wasnt good nor fun! Why im getting emotional?!" Subaru says and then starts to explain about the friendly undead... again

"Wait... Ainz is an undead... how can make a tour around the city for him?!" Subaru says loud while gazing at Ainz

"Eh? Is that your concern? Then {Perfect Warrior}" Ainz casts and then a black armour surrounds him and two big greatswords on his back. Right now Ainz changed from a mage to a warrior of equal power

""Eh?!"" The whole room says loud

"Ainz... if you had that spell then... why didnt you casted that earlier?!" Subaru asked loudly

"We never had gone to a city so i didnt thought it was necessary" Ainz says

"Okay, now that this is settled, lets go to Priestella!" Subaru shouts to cheer the group

...

"Its been a while since i traveled in carriage with friends..." Ainz murmurs and gaze around to see a happy group. Garfield playing with mimi, Subaru talking to Emilia... Everyone is happy and hyped for the party

While Ainz watched the scenery around, Subaru approach him and asks

"Hey Ainz, why so gloomy?"

"Its just... its been a while since i traveled with people i can call friends..."

"A while? mmm... before becoming an undead i guess?"

"... You can say that..." Ainz answers

While they were talking, someone shouts

"Its the city!"

Subaru and Ainz turns to see a great city in the distance

Some time pass and finally the carriage enters the city

Subaru and the gang are amazed to see such a beautiful city

Ainz gaze around to appreciate the scenery of a whole new world

The party goes to a hotel where the other candidates are staying

In the hotel Ainz finally meets the most powerful person of this world, Reinhard Van Astrea, a red haired knight who has so many divine protections that he appears like a rainbow in his eyes

Reinhard feels something and with a hand in his sword turns to look at Ainz.

He looks very tense right now and is prepared to unsheathe his sword

"Hey Reinhard, whats with that face?" Subaru asks while not seeing his tense movements

"Its... Nothing... Natsuki, can you introduce me that friend of yours?" Reinhard says while still gripping his sword

"Him? Ah right, you dont know him yet... Thats my friend Ainz! He helped me very much in the past year!" Subaru says with a smile on his face

"So is he your friend... Do you trust him that much?" Reinhard, a little more calm, asks again

"Yes, if it wasnt for him, i would have died many times already!" Subaru says. And while the others take that phrase like in a figurative way, Subaru really means it. If it wasnt for Ainz he really thought he would have died much more in the sanctuary

Ainz nods his head to Reinhard, who also nods in response. The tense room finally calms down

Then subaru introduce Ainz to the other candidates. Everyone tries to answer in a respectful way, as that black knight presence got an instant response from the most powerful warrior of the kingdom

Well, everyone except for one candidate who is always the same. Priscilla like always treats him and everyone like they owns her money or something

After a while, and after a bad father and son discussion between Reinhard and his father, the gang starts to explore the city. Subaru tries to be a guide for Ainz... although he also doesnt know the city... But hey, it's the feeling that counts

While they were happily exploring, they find a old acquaintance of Subaru, the slender thief named Rachins, the one who tried to rob Subaru on his first coming to this world

Subaru adds him to the party and continues to explore the city until...

They find a crowd, surrounding a tower and shouting to the sky

Astounded, the party goes to see what is happening, and here they see a person full of bandages like a mummy. She, from the sound of her voice, appears to be making a speech. The party was listening until she says

"For i, the Sin Archbishop of Wrath, Sirius, say so"

The party is alarmed knowing she is a Sin Archbishop. Just when the party was going to do something, she hangs a little boy in the air using some floating chains... then she simply throw him off the tower

Subaru run and tries to save the child. Ainz is just gazing at this, as he doesnt care about a random child dying.

*SPLAT*

Subaru cant make it and the child dies... Just after that, the whole around Ainz starts to crumble

"Wait what?" He says, shocked by the sudden change

...

Subaru, Ainz and the rest of the party is in the middle of the city while exploring

Suddendly Subaru and Ainz stops and looks at each other

"You died?" Ainz asks

"I think so...?" Subaru answers a little confused

"Lets go to see what happened... That child dying must be the cause" Ainz says and starts to walk in the direction of the previous tower

"Wait for me!" Subaru follows Ainz while the rest of the party is confused at the sudden change of the two

As they approach, the same crowd is seen, while the crazy person in the tower also is there

Before she can start her speech, Subaru uses his whip. Becuase yes, now he can fight with a whip after training after a year.

Sirius block it easly but it makes her fall off the tower.

When she is on the ground and about to say something, a black knight appears in front of her, about to cut her in half with his giant sword

She barelly dodge that strike but lost an arm. Before Ainz can make another swing, she uses her authority of Wrath, doing nothing to Ainz but making Subaru and the hostage child who he is holding, go crazy until dying... making the world crumbling around Ainz

"*sigh* Subaru, now the problem is that she can kill you from distance" Ainz says while sighing

"I..." Subaru doesnt know what to say, feeling useless at the moment

The two of them walks again to the tower. Subaru is staying on the distance this time

Before anything, Ainz rush to her, trying to make a fast kill. Ainz jumps to the top of the tower and strikes at the shocked Sirius.

She use her chains to stop the strike... not, the chains breaks and the sword almost cuts her in half, making her fly down the tower and smashing agains the ground

Ainz just jumps off the tower his the child on his shoulder

He gives the child to Subaru before charging to an almost dead Sirius who is slowly getting u

He appears in front of her and before she can say anything Ainz finally strike her and a flying torso is seen, she was bisected and before dying she laughs maniacally, activating her authority and killing everyone around her, except for Ainz and Subaru who is now in the distance.

Subaru watch this with a pale face, after all he wanted to save them... then he gaze at Ainz

"Can you..." Subaru says with a pale and sad face

"Do you want me to?" Ainz asks

"Please make it painless" Subaru says and close his eyes

A giant black sword cuts Subaru in half from top to bottom, killing subaru instantly, making the world crumble around Ainz

...

"Now what? I can teleport the crowd but that means i need to restore my undead form" Ains says annoyed, because he only cares about Subaru and his party, the crowd are of no importance to him

"Let... let me get some help..." Subaru says after thinking a bit and goes to fetch Beatrice...

After some time, Subaru came back with a Beatrice in hand... and Emilia following too

Ainz raise his imaginary brow

"Why is Emilia also here?" He asks

"Well... she wanted to help so..."

"Please let me help! I wont be a bother!" Emilia says while trying to convince Ainz

"*sigh* Whatever you want... i just hope that nobody dies so you dont commit suicide" Ainz says while gazing at Emilia

"Suicide?! Why Subaru would do something like that?!" Emilia shouts concerned and shocked at his words

"Its nothing Emiliaaa! Its his way to say that i will be very sad if someone i care dies!" Subaru grabs Emilia and runs to the tower, trying to change the topic

After running a bit, the party reachs the tower. The current plan is: Subaru rescues the crowd with the powers of Beatrice, taking them away. This while Ainz and Emilia fights. End of the plan

The plan starts

Subaru and Beatrice starts to cancel the authority of Wrath on the crowd and then takes them away

Ainz and Emilia approach the tower

"Emilia, if you want to be helpful, prove it and fight her. If you are about to die or in critical danger, then i will help you" Ainz says with a calm voice. He has mixed feelings about Emilia, because although she likes her innocense, it also makes him very angry some times. He wants to train her to be a little more useful. This fight will be the first training of Emilia

"Okay!" Emilia accepts and runs to fight Sirius. She can trust Ainz in regards to what he said, because she knows that Ainz is very powerful as she has seen his might in the year when he was visiting Subaru

Emilia starts an epic fight with Sirius. Although Emilia is currently losing, she is holding good enough.

Volley after volley of ice flies arround as Ainz watch the fight

Emilia finally manages to hit Sirius with her ice, leaving a heavy wound on her. Sirius is now furious, charging madly at Emilia and about to reach her

Just when Sirius was about to hit her, Ainz appears and swing his sword. An arm flies and Sirius is launched to the wall of the tower. She now is one armed, but Ainz is not gazing at her but at the man with white hair currently near Emilia

Ainz saw that guy when he was about to save Emilia, and altough Ainz doesnt know why he would do that, he is a cautious person, so he saved her first and then turns to the stranger

"Ai... I thought i was the one who will save the damisell in distress" Regulus, the Sin Archibishop of Greed says while making a regretful face

"You have ruined my mood... so die" He throw a wind blade filled with authority to Ainz

As if feeling it, Ainz tries to block it, but it pass through his sword and armor, impacting his skeleton, making him feel some pain

"hoho... so this is pain" Ainz says while amused at the new oponent

Regulus changes his always smiling face to a serious one. Ainz is one of the few ones who was able to survive one of his attacks

"Its seems i need to be a little serious for this" Regulus says while throwing more wind blades and also tome peebles on the ground

Ainz keeps getting hit and feeling a little pain. Although it doesnt hurt much, its like many bee stings.

"Its also time for me to get serious" Ainz says and cast

"{Perfect Warrior}" his armor goes away and now a full majestic skeleton is in front of Regulus

"Wha-" He i shocked as the one in the black armor is a skeleton... its a normal reaction

"Lets start with something simple. {Hell flame}" Ainz point a finger at him and a small dark flame flies

Regulus mind is saying danger at the sight of that little flame. He was about to do something when the flame nears him

The flames expands and cover regulus in a circle, its like they are encountering some sort of a shield around him. The flames keeps burning until Regulus freeze them in time and throw them to the sky

"That didnt work? Then lets test the next spell. {Grasp Heart}" Ainz makes a grab and crush gesture as an virtual heart explodes in his hand... Then nothing happens to the man in front of him

Regulus is standing fine there... but something alarming is crossing his mind, as he can feel that one of his wives died right now... This means that the thing in front of him can kill him if given enough time

While on guard, he starts to back down, still smiling

"Well then Emilia, i think that for now i will leave you here... but you will be my new wife in the future. remember that"

"{Summon undead 10th - Doom lord}" Ainz casts and a giant undead emerges from the ground. Ainz points at the escaping Regulus and the Doom lord goes to chase him

Then he turn around to see Sirius talking with Subaru... after nearing them, you hear about Sirius being his wife and things like that... very disturbing

Sirius make an escape after seeing Ainz, leaving Subaru alone with a weird face

"Hey Subaru, its seems a psyco loves you now" Ainz says with a small chuckle

Subaru: ...

Emilia then comes and thanks Ainz for saving her, just to hear some people coming

"{Perfect Warrior}" Ainz again is in his Black Knight armor so they dont get the 'Undead?!' cliche again

The people who approach are leaded by Reinhard who is coming to help, just to be told that they solved everything.

The group decides to go back to the hotel and to make a plan... mostly Subaru, as he want to make a plan to kill the Sin Archbishops

Inside the home base, the party was talking when a transmision sounds in the whole city

Its the Sin Archbishop of Lust saying that she got the city hall. The party, after hearing this, prepares to siege the city hall in order to kill said Archbishop

It was at this moment that Garfield rushed inside with a very wounded Mimi

He is saying that healing magic doesnt work on her and is desperate

The party is shocked by such a weird wound and tries to heal her

Subaru is also thinking how to help when he remembers his undead friend, who could be of help

"Ainz, please save her! I beg you!" Subaru begs Ainz while making bow

"*sigh* Just for you... and its going to be just this time" Ainz says while nearing Garfield and Mimi

"Its true?! You can save her, right?!" Garfield says while grabing his only hope. After all he also knows how powerful Ainz is

"I will, but you may hate the process" Ainz says and then cancelled Pefrect Warrior, appearing as an undead again

Before anyone can react, Subaru shouts

"He is a friendly undead!"

Now everyone is confused by sudden twist. Reinhard is also confused but still does not attack... although he has unsheathed his sword

While gazing at the little animal girl, Ainz cast a spell

"{Death}" Mimi dies, making the whole room silent

"{Paralysis}" Ainz cast to Garfield before he can explode in anger, then he takes out a weird scepter from his inventory

""What have you done?!"" Some people behind him shouts and are nearing him. Subaru still believes in his friend and didnt said anything... or not. Its just because he can go back if anything bad happens

"{Penetrate magic} {Slow}" Ainz casts a spell to a running Reinhard, who is the most dangerous in this room, making his very fast speed slow to an almost normal human speed

Then Ainz taps with the scepter the head of Mimi and a bright shine apperas above her

Mimi slowly opens her eyes, making the rushing people who are angry stop in place

Some time pass and Mimi finally see whats going on. She is in Garfield arms while he is still paralised... although she doesnt know that

She tries to make him speak but he is still paralised

"Just a few seconds and he will go back to normal" Ainz says and then...

Garfield recovers from the paralisis. A moving scene is happening ringht now between Mimi and Garfield, while Ainz goes back to Subaru

"Thank you" Subaru says

"No problem, but dont think i will help everytime" Ainz answers

While the two of them were talking, Reinhard has a very shocked face

'It cant be... she was dead, i clearly felt that!' Reinhard is shocked by the ability of ressurecting someone

'If its him...' He starts to think about past things and how that ability can help

After sorting this incident, the party starts the travel toward the city hall. Garfield is very angry and goes with revenge in mind
