CHAPTER: 09

                          "REALISATION"

      leny got a call from the hospital about lisa's situation. he went there. marry was sitting in the corridor. "How's her situation?" asked leny to marry. "how do you know?" counter questioned marry. "hospital called because lisa put my number in her insurance form in case of emergency." answered leny. "hmm she is not okay! doctor said she got nervous breakdown" mentioned marry. "but how did this happen?" questioned leny. "you don't need to know that.." told marry. doctor came out of the ward. "how is she?" asked leny to the doctor. "just wait and see. her nerves damaged and there was too much internal bleeding. i thought she got some shocking news and she wasn't able to handle that. next 24 hours are critical. if she will not wake up, we should admit her to ICU." told doctor. marry started crying. "it's all my fault. i shouldn't have showed her that. what have i done?" marry said in miserable voice. "what are you saying? what did you show to her?" questioned leny. "just shut up you all are her enemies. just betraying her with all the lies" marry shouted. "so she told you! but that's not a true story. i have to clear myself. i promise when she wake up i will tell each and everything i know." leny said.

         vindy was doing exercise. her phone rang. she picked up." hey! how are you doing?" asked vindy on call. "i am good. i think you forgot me" said Michael from the other side. "ummm that's not possible because i have a very good memory" chuckled vindy. "wanna meet? i am free today. let's have coffee." said Michael. "okay text me the location. i will be there in an hour." said vindy and hung up. she went to the washroom to get bath. she put her phone outside in the room. meanwhile the phone started ringing again.

      both at the hospital were in intense situation. marry was praying to God. the nurse shouted from inside of the ward and called for doctors. "doctors come here. patient 14 is getting attacks". doctors ran toward the ward. marry and leny stood up. "who is patient 14?" asked marry to leny. "i hope it's not her" said leny. they were desperate and tensed. few minutes later doctor came out. "umm doctor! who is this patient? what happened?" questioned leny to the doctor. "the patient 14 lisa gardener is with you? right?" asked doctor. "yes yes" answered marry instead of leny. "i am sorry. the breakdown was too severe and it caused seizure. she is paralysed now but the good thing is that she is conscious and out of danger." told doctor. "what? paralysed?" shouted leny. "yeah i know it's hard but we can't do anything. you can meet her. she is in trauma right now so please don't mention anything bad infront of her." advised doctor. marry sat on the floor crying. leny comforted her but she kept crying. meanwhile leny's phone rang. he picked up. "ohhh finally you picked!" said leny. "why were you calling? i was bathing." said vindy from the otherside. "ehmmm well congrats! you won!" said leny. "what is this drama now!?" asked vindy. "you best friend just got paralysed and was almost died because of you!" told leny. "what? where are you? i am coming" said vindy in curiosity. "no need enjoy your time. she don't need you" said leny and cut.

"hello, hello?" said vindy. she immediately called Michael and cancelled her plan and left for the hospital.

      officer john was working on something in marry's house. he was going through some files. he was figuring things out. then finally he got something and immediately called marry but the phone was off. he tracked her and followed her to hospital.

      vindy reached the hospital. "where is she?" asked vindy to marry. marry stared at her. "i am asking something marry?" questioned vindy. marry stood up and left. "what the hell was that?" said vindy and asked the nurse walking out of ward. she got to lisa ward and saw her through the window. a tear fell down of her cheeks and said "it wasn't meant to do this to you. i am sorry. how can i face you. what have i done?". leny saw vindy and came to her. "you finally here to see her misery. well you must be really happy that you saved yourself and almost killed her" leny said. "shut up idiot! i am regretting now but she was okay when she left the house" mentioned vindy. "i think it has something to do with marry. she was saying something about a video she showed her and she was regretting that." told leny. "what video? we have to find out." said vindy.

      marry was walking in the ground. officer john reached there. "why are you here?" asked marry. "there is something you need to see." said officer john and showed her the file. after five minutes. "so finally it's all sorted. my concern was right.....but we have to stay quiet for sometime untill lisa's recovery. then i want you to arrange my meeting with chief." said marry. "okay! how is she?" questioned officer john. "not good. it's hard to see her this way. it all seems to my mistake." said marry and tear dropped out of her eye. officer put her hand over her shoulder.

        vindy asked doctor for the permission to meet the patient. doctor approved. vindy went in. "hi my brave girl. see i am here for you. i know it's all my fault. i shouldn't had tell you all those crap things. i am sorry. today for the first time i felt like i was dying instead of you. i realised today that you are so important to me. you are the only one left whose on my side. after loosing my parents and my husband, the only left person is you. please get well soon and come home. it's grave there without you. please" vindy said to lisa while crying. lisa was continuously watching her face and tears were dropping from her eyes. vindy wiped lisa's face and put her head over lisa's hand holding tightly. the nurse came in and told vindy to leave. "its her injections time. please leave the room." said the nurse. vindy nodded and left.
