[3rd Person POV]

Earlier during the infiltration.

Superman, Green lantern, Shazam and Flash make their way towards the room where all the hostages are kept prisoner by the invading forces.

"You know how to use that?" asked Shazam, referring to the pendrive they received from Cyborg.

Hal Jordan answers,in an offended tone "Of course, I do. Do you take me for an idiot? I'm literally part of an intergalactic organisation. Dealing with alien tech is literally a requirement sometimes"

"Just making sure." replies Shazam.

Any resistance the group meets is quickly defeated by Superman and the Flash as the trio quickly reach their destination.

As they enter the room they are visibly shocked to see thousands of oval shaped pods, with humanoid silhouettes trapped inside them.

"Stasis pods" blurts out Green Lantern.

"We have to get them out of there and off this base! " says Shazam, visibly agitated. He then proceeds to head towards one of the pods, intending to rip it open and release the person trapped inside.

Flash quickly stops Shazam before he can do something brash "Careful! We don't know what sort of defence mechanism touching these pods will trigger, or even whether opening them will hurt the people trapped inside. Stay calm and just let Green Lantern handle it."

On hearing this, Shazam calms down, and says " Sorry, I just got a bit too agitated seeing them like that."

Flash gives him an understanding look, and then reassures him "Don't worry about it, it happens to the best of us."

After looking around for a bit, Superman warns his allies "Be careful, I can't use my x-ray vision here."

Flash answers with "No worries, it shouldn't matter much since we're already at our destination."

Green Lantern speaks up "Now where is the computer that controls these stasis pods?"

He then flies up into the sky, aiming to get a vantage point. He looks around for a bit before seeing a small elevated podium in the centre of the room.

"Found it!" Shazam says having found it at the same time, pointing at it for the others to see.

They make their way towards the podium, but as soon as they get close to it, a horde of parademons comes flying at them. Luckily, Superman quickly uses his heat vision, decimating multiple of them. Before flying through the rest, obliterating them instantly.

Flash and Shazam also charged in, Flash using his speed to outmanoeuvre and sneak up behind a dozen parademons, destroying them instantly. Meanwhile, Shazam used his strength to throw one of the parademons into a group of parademons, knocking them down like a set of bowling pins.

Finally, Green Lantern used his ring to conjure up a giant cannon, blasting the remaining parademons with a massive burst of energy.

"Whew, glad we're done with that! Now let's move on to the important part." said the Flash.

It was then that a female voice rang out throughout the hall.

"It seems that we have intruders. Well oh well, no worries, that just means more servants to further enforce Lord Darkseid's will." said the voice.

"You… You pests have some gall, don't you? Touching things you can't fathom in such a reckless manner" said another voice, this time of a man.

The heroes look towards the source of the voice, seeing a group of five. It consists of 4 women and a man.

One of them is an elderly woman, seemingly in her sixties, but still built better than many bodybuilders on earth, wearing heavy armour. The other is a young woman wearing black coloured light armour with a cage-like helm, holding a whip. The third is also a woman in her twenties, dressed in all white clothing and is holding a sabre. The last woman is wearing blue coloured heavy armour with gold accents, holding a spear. The man is shrivelled up, and weak looking, with cybernetics attached to his body, wearing a cloak.

The heroes get their guard up, knowing a fight is imminent. The other side does the same.

Nevertheless, Granny Goodness keeps speaking,unperturbed by these actions "A very good day to you, dear intruders. My name is Granny Goodness. That oaf over there is called Desaad, while these lovely girls are my beloved furies. Now then, I would like to take this opportunity to welcome all of you into Lord Darkseid's army. FURIES! ATTACK! CAPTURE THEM SO THAT THEY CAN BE SHOWN THE GLORY OF THE GREAT LORD DARKSEID."

"YES GRANNY!" The three women shout, before charging towards our Heroes.
