Fort Richardson and Nanomachines

Alaska at the moment was in Spring so it was more chilly than cold. They had a transport helicopter waiting for them when they landed at Ted Stevens Anchorage International Airport. The pets all came out with them looking around wiht wonder.

A tall soldier who looked like a humanoid shark saluted when he saw Connor.

"Sir, we are here to take you to see the general.

Connor nodded.

"Hey, Georgie."

The shark's eye twitched as Connor never cared for rank or proper names. He did not bother to correct him as he would never learn.

"You may enter the helicopter."

Bedeila waved at him as the 10 wolves followed behind her and Connor as they entered the helicopter. Georgie got in with them as the helicopter was made to handle extreme loads as many of the Dragon Division had mutation quirks.

Connor glanced around at a few familiar faces. One of them was a 38-year-old woman with a scar on her face.

"Tia. Good to see you."

She snorted as she placed her fingers on the side of her head. There was no piolet, but the helicopter began to fly in the air as everyone important had boarded. Several of the soldiers in the helicopter were carried from ethnicities to mutations.

Jack only accepted those who had quirks with potential, he cared not about appearance. A man who was sitting next to Bedeila turned to her. He was black and looked unmutated but he had pressure around him.

"So this is your daughter?"

Bedeila extended her hand to him.

"Hello."

He shook her hand and felt the strength in that grip.

"Might firm grip."

Connor smiled.

"She did inherit my strength, Josh. Bedeila, this is Josh Thomson. His quirk is Liquid Metal. It allows him to turn most metals into liquid and shape them as he will it. Tia can fuse her mind into any machine and hack it. Georgie can do everything a Great White Shark can do and more.

That guy over there is Silver Davis. His quirk is a common ice quirk, but don't look down on him for it. He keeps a constant ice storm around Fort Richardson for training reasons. The pink-haired woman over there is Samara Burton.

Her quirk is called Crack meaning she can literally break or crack the world. These are just part of the 15,000 troops under my father."

They all glanced at Bedeila and saw she was not just a spoiled brat. She had a fair bit of muscle mass, along with the way she looked at them. It was analytical and probibning. Josh smiled at her eyes.

"She is checking us out. Aren't you?"

She nodded.

"I am seeing how strong you all are and I can see you all have trained hard under my grandfather. Improving can't be easy unless you all awaken which is still something that seems to come randomly."

They did not say a thing as it was a surprise for her. Silver was named that way for his silver eyes and he agreed with her.

"You are right. Once someone reaches a certain limit it is like their quirks grow more slowly. It's not to say it is pointless, but it might take years to notice any diffrence. In the Dragon Divison, we train daily for even scarps of improvement and we have developed ways to push the mind and body beyond their limits.

You will be pushed to do the same. Not all of us can live as long as you so do not squander your gift. Even Connor has not stopped training that I can tell. His goal is the same as ours, to Awaken our quirks."

Bedeila took his advice to heart.

"Thank you for the words, sir."

Silver flashed a tiny smile but hid it. Tia kept her fingers to her head as the helicopter began to descend. Around the base was a massive snowstorm that was kept up by many quirks, not just Silver's. It was impressive as the snowstorm seemed far colder than normal at negative 40 degrees fenranthite.

It could get even colder, but for now it stayed at this temperature for most of the year. The helicopter had no issue going through the snowstorm as it was made built with that in mind.

Connot smiled when he saw that familair sight of snow.

"By dad's whiskers, I missed seeing that."

The wolves were all wagging their tails as they wanted to run out to play in the snow. Tia opened her eyes as she landed the helicopter.

"We have arrived."

Bedeila and Connor got up with their luggage as the helicopter opened up. Jack, Mathew and Jenna were waiting with a group of soldidres who all saluted the moment Connor returned. Bedeila did not get a chance to say anything as her grandmother hugged her pushing her face into her chest.

"MY GRANDBABY IS HERE!"

Bedeila hugged her grandmother tight as she was really happy to see her.

"Granma Jenna. Grampa dad, granddad Mathew. I missed you all."

Mathew looked like a werewolf just like his kin, but the diffrence was that his fur was dark brown. When Jenna let go of Bedeila he and Jack both got their own hugs. Mathew extended his hand toward her so she took off her mask and handed it to him.

He looked it over and noticed the chang in color. He checked it out for a minute before he handed it back.

"Alright, come on. Connor, you come as well. This is top secret so do not speak a word of this."

Both Bedeila and Connor nodded as she put her mask back on. Fort Richardson was rather massive as it got expanded during WW3 to acomaate for the increased number of troops. Before the emergence of quirks it was a normal base, but that changed.

Eveything was state of the art as Mathew's company Canis Tech had a deal in everything. From the guns and weapons the Dragon Divison used, so equipment to icrese their training.

Badeila kept her eyes spread out as she felt only strong people around her.Every single sldire in the base was strong and the ones who were not fightests like combat medics had powerful healing quirks.

Jack looked at Badeila as she analyzed everyone she passed.

"Keep those eyes just like that. You will need to be able to tell the intentions of every person you meet. Our sense of smell is not just about scents, we can even smell emotions. Our ears can be used to hear heart beats or breaths. You have a lot to learn in 9 months."

She nodded.

"Yes sir."

He smiled as they entered one of the medical facilities. Connor whistled and made the wolves wait in the lobby for them to come back. When the guards saw Mathew and Jack they were allowed to pass inside. The first stop they needed was a private room where they could give Bedeila and Connor Mathew's new ingestion.

When they entered the room it was just Bedeila, Connor, Jack, Mathew, and Jenna. The door closed behind and locked as this was top secret to just their family. The whole room was sound proof and not a peep could get out. Mathew reached into his pocket and pulled out a small case. Bedeila and Connor were curious what was in it, but they didn't ask. When Mathew opened it, they saw two vials full of silver liquid.

"These are Nano Machines my company developed. They are injected into the body and they help push it past it's limits. I have been working on them for 80 years and after all these years they are perfected. What to know what they do?"

Bedeila nodded.

"Yes."

Mathew grinned as he placed the first vial in a Jet Injector.

"Well, these babies break down any forighn substance in your body. Be that poison, spores, drugs, or even cancers."

When Connor and Bedeila heard that they wished she had just lasted a bit longer. Mathew knew that, but their was nothing he could do at the time. While cancer was easily treatable, the type she got was far deadlier.

"Well these don't just do that. They push the body's recovery speed to it's limit and improve it's state over time. It even pushes the quirk factor gene to grow faster. These have been in use for only 6 months and the Dragon Divison have seen great improvements.

From what we have seen, they can even improve the strength of the body as a stronger body is needed to deal with stronger quirks. I, Jack, and Jenna have it as well. You ready?"

Bedeila removed her scarf as she exposed her neck.

"Ready."

He first placed a red cream on her neck that weakened her natural defenses. It was necessary as their skin was harder than most metals. He placed the needle on her neck and pushed down. Just as expected the needle had no issue to go into her flesh.

When the Jet Injector was in her neck the nanomachines were injected into her body. The injection was instant and she waited for anything to happen. She didn't feel any diffrent, but Mathew explained why.

"The effects are not instant. We have found that slow and steady is the best method so you will only notice a change after a few weeks of training or not. Connor, your turn."

Her dad sat down waiting for the injection. Mathew got a larger jet injector and held Connor's neck. He used the same cream on his skin and stuck the needle into the large werewolf's neck. In a instant the Nanomachines entered his bloodstream.

"That wan't so bad."

Jenna rubbed his back as her quirk had been improving again recently.

"You will see the improvements son. You will get even stronger from now on. We all will."

Jenna was pleased with he improvements as before this her quirk had stagnated. No matter how hard she trained it just improved too slow. Now that improvement began once again. Mathew put he box back in his pocket as this was stil a secret from the government.

"This is only known to us, as the soldiers don't know what they were injected with. This also gives us the ability to monitor their vitals and track them at all times. Meaning we can monitor their intentions at all time and cause brain death by clicking a few buttons.

As for the ones in us, they are even more special. They were custom made to your DNA so they work even better. While they can be tracked, they have none of those failsafe. Remember, this secret does not leave this room."

Connor nodded.

"I swear to guard this secret with my life."

Bedeila nodded.

"Of course. I will not tell a single person."

Mathew smiled.

"I know that. That was just a warning I had to give you. I will make some for your wolves as well so don't worry there. You don't even have to think of those Nanomachines and they will not show up in blood tests of the like."

Connor was interested to get training again.

"I will be staying for a month to get back into the groove of things. I have been training, but it is nowhere as extreme as the stuff you put me through dad."

Jack grinned when he heard the sound of that.

"You can't run from me now boy. As soon as Bedeila enters that school, you are coming back here to complete your duty."

Connor snorted.

"Of course I know that. When do we start?"

Jenna looked at Bedeila and Connor.

"First you got to get in uniform."

The uniform was the same type as the Riot gear that Conor wore as his hero suit. It was made of quirk enhanced material and it was both fire and cold proof. Bedeila was ready for whatever they could throw at her and more than eager to begin.

"Yes ma'am."
