Chapter 9: Main quest
I was in the locker room nearby where I was taking my stuff and leaving.
I also saw 2 new notifications, well, 2 new ones other than the thousands I get every second for going against the 'sacred timeline.'
"If only I would stop getting these notifications, I get that the system is helping me avoid these superpowers which I cannot handle right now but this is getting annoying."
The second I thought so, the notifications panel changed, and all the alerts I was getting about outside forces stopped.
[Notifications: 2]
I pressed those notifications and this is what I saw.
[New skill
Name: Rookie Brawler
Rank: F
Description: The host has been training in boxing skills for a while now and with the sudden inspiration through battle, the host has awakened a passive skill to help him in fighting scenarios]
This is a skill I got through the fight.
[Item: Specific Limit Breaker Potion
Rank: E
Description: The host can pick a stat of his choice and have his potential unlocked upto the peak of E rank.]
"Here kid, have this ice pack," the manager of the arena came in and said as he tossed me an ice pack.
He then lit a cigarette and said," will you be appearing more often than kid?"
I nodded my head and said," Once a week, every Saturday night."
I then took my bag, wore my hoodie and left the arena.
...
The next day, most of the pain was gone but not the bruises.
I then brought a notebook out from underneath my table and thought to myself.
"I need a good martial arts instructor to teach me to fight. While the system will help me, I need to become stronger. I also need to see if I can use any supernatural powers...such as chi, the mystic arts, asgardian magic or something more."
I then opened my book and went to a specific and turned to 1 character's name.
[Shang Chi]
I should be around the same age as Shang Chi, with maybe a year or 2 difference and he is probably the best person to teach me any Martial Arts.
For me to learn from him, I need to wait 1 more year. He left his father at the age of 14-15 after all.
Right now, the only place for me to learn and get strong really quickly is by going to the Supreme One.
I honestly do not know how she will react if I go over there right now...
[A new quest has been generated]
I looked at the notification and pressed it.
[Quest title: Desperation to get strong
Rank: ?
Description: The host wants to become stronger for reasons the system is unable to compute. Due to this desire, the system is trying to show the host a path out of his current situation.
[Part 1]
[Part 2]

[Part 10]]
[Quest: Part 1
Rank: None
Description: The host has to decide what he wants to be in the future. A hero who wants to save, a villain who wants to destroy, or neither and stay neutral. What do you want to do? Chose carefully host as this will affect your entire 'story.']
I looked at the description on the system carefully.
Am I a hero? Most definitely not. The radio I have constantly tells me about crimes before they happen but I don't even try to stop them.
Am I a villain? I can be classified as one. I am an extremely selfish person. I will look out for myself above anyone and will leave anyone behind if they hinder my path back to my true family.
But would I kill for no reason? No. Would I kill for power? No. As long as you don't disturb me directly, you are not someone I will bother with.
I don't care if it is Peter, Stark or Captain. As long as they don't stop me I will not care about them. They just have to let me be in the future.
I then gave my answer to the system.
"I am not a hero. I will only save them if I can without anything regarding sacrificing myself. I am no villain, I will not go out of my way to destroy the world. I don't know what I am, but I definitely know I want to be stronger. Strong enough to go back to my family that I love."
[The system has decided that the host is also confused about the path he wants to take]
"..." that is not what I said.
[The system will try and make a plan to help the host in his unrealistic goal.]
The main quest line has been updated.
