Heir of the World
One day, on a "normal" planet, a golden serpent was suddenly dropped onto its surface. It was so huge, it coiled around the entire world in a spiral.
And if you thought that was the end of it, you'd be dead wrong. Sigils and runes. Along with the introduction of the serpent, sigils were suddenly introduced into the human populace by an unknown person at the exact same time. The humans of old, with the help of sigils, have finally begun to evolve into a species that is able to cast away their nomadic status due to their lack of strength - to then settle down into the cities they would eventually build and defend.
Blah, blah, blah, whole bunch of stuff happens; ten millennia later, humans have taken their own piece in the world with their past insecurities gone.
Only after these ten housand years pass does the main character merge into existence. Meet, Ran, a silly young man who had to run away from his home which was completely wiped out on the day of his awakening.
But that's not enough for you, right? You want something... special. Something that makes him stand out from the rest. Except... the truth is, Ran, himself, is normal as fuck! Relatively speaking...
Well, there is one thing: In this world, the will of the world chooses your name for you, leaving you no choice. Only, Ran's name is, unknown. No, he's not literally named unknown, but rather, it is in an unknown language and is undecipherable by those around him. However, this one partciularity is merely just the precursor, like foreshadowing, to what would eventually become of Rans life; it can, will, and already, shove Ran down a rabbit hole of both misery and... love.
Join Ran as he grows stronger to cast his revenge on the people who destroyed his home, while finding out about the mysteriousness of himself and his true name!
Who knows, he might even find out what his true name actually is...
