Chapter 10: What is my path of growth?
[Main Quest line]
[Part 1:
Description: The host has to pick a path to focus his strength on to get stronger. Choose 1 way to get strong and start developing that way. When the host makes a successful product in that place.
Reward: A job for the host
Penalty: Growing in power more slowly]
I looked at the penalty section and did not know how to feel. This is the first time the system has given me a penalty for not completing a quest.
More than a penalty, it seems like it is a consequence of my action instead. If I don't reach out for the branch the system is giving me, I will not be able to complete my goal fast enough.
I already know where I want to develop. For now, it is science.
For the current me, becoming a vigalante is dumb as I have no experience and can get myself killed. I can still do missions once a day to help a person and get some rewards but I can't fight people myself, not until I get stronger.
However, I am confused as to which way I will develop in science itself. Will I be going towards physics, chemistry or biology?
Physics can help me build stuff like armors and suits, biology can help me create serums to help my body become stronger...and a lot more.
Personally I believe that the best path of growth is through Biology.
However, I have a major problem I need to overcome.
I am no genius.
I definitely cannot create something to help my body get stronger anytime soon, let alone the good stuff like the super-soldier serum.
To get smarter, I need to either get higher stats, or get more skills.
Seeing as I was able to get a skill by putting what I learned into practical use...what if I can unlock skills regarding subjects by writing some exams or something?
Right, that is what I should do first...find some competition for kids regarding science and math and participate in a competition to represent my school.
'Right, first I need to do this.' I thought to myself as I took out the potion I gained, and I drank it.
[Please select a specific stat to unlock your potential in]
I picked the intelligence stat, and just like for when my potential for vitality was unlocked, I did not feel a difference.
...
[Skill: Timeskip no jutsu
Duration: 1month]
It has been 1 month, and I feel like I have grown decently over the 1 month.

I was able to bring all my stats up, and even bring Rookie Brawler Up a rank as well. I have to say, it really does help in getting stronger faster.
I am able to concentrate more while fighting and use my techniques better than before.
My intelligence being F+ rank also helps a lot. I am able to solve highschool level math much more quickly, and I need less practice to get questions wrong.
I am able to understand things more quickly as well.
Right now though, I have just finished a statewide science competition regarding Chemistry for young kids.
I did represent the school for it, for my specific age group and I am currently walking out of the exam hall with a smile on my face.

3 new skills. I would have liked it if I went for physics as well but I have been slightly neglecting physics as I want to focus on biology for now.
With this, I will definitely be able to learn quickly, create some theories regarding Biology or Chemistry. With this, I might be able to attract the attention of some big-name companies.
Before, I would only want to go to Stark Technologies, but as of right now, I decided that it won't be optimal for me to go there. While they do have biology related sections, it isn't as intensive as some pharma companies which I can learn a lot more from.
Maybe in the future I will be able to learn more from there but not right now.
However here comes the part where I am at a dilemma in. If I get close to Tony Stark when he comes back, I will be able gain a reward like I did with Peter.
What should I do?
After thinking about it, I decided on a general course of action for me.
1- Get an internship at a decently well established company
2-Get my job
3- Get a physics based skill
4-Attract Tony Stark's attention when he comes back.
I have to do all of this... in about 2 months.
