"Please never do that again…" Whined Arthur, hunched over holding his head as a wave of dizziness overtook him "Or, at least give me some warning… oh, my head" he held his hand out to check how many fingers he could see, he saw eight he held up two.
"Sorry, I forget that super speed can be disorienting for people who haven't lived with it" Summer apologized wryly scratching the back of her head.
"It's not the speed… it's the sudden stop and start." He complained "My brain is just rattled... at worst, I could black out… god I hate G-forces…" Arthur rapidly blinked, the world slowly returning to its normal non blurry and singular state.
"haha… sorry about that… I won't go as fast next time, if that makes it any better" she apologized
"Thanks… I think…" he said, standing up but stumbling a little as his balance had yet to return completely. "So, what first?" he asked as he took in his surroundings, seeing that he was standing in the centre of a large indoors training room about the size of two football field with one side being filled various different types of equipment as well as having a track circling it for sprints.
The other half of the training room was blocked off by a see through glass barrier in the hopes of protecting the valuable equipment from being damaged from the training fights that were most likely held on the other side of it. Through the barrier Arthur could see that on the back wall of the field various weapons were hanging, from simple swords and guns without transformational capabilities to well-worn mechashift capable weaponry.
Against the rightmost wall numerous inert robots could be seen lined up, each in a different size and shape, most being relatively human sized and shaped while others took on a more mechanical variation of different smaller Grimm species.
"What, is this place? I don't remember seeing anything like this on the map of Beacon." Arthur asked as he looked around the room.
"Oh, we're not in Beacon. This is a gym a friend of mine is opening up in a few months, I asked him if I could borrow it to train you. He was more than happy as he needed someone to test the equipment and to be the guinea pig for his Android arena." She explained
"Why do I suddenly feel cold…" he muttered, swearing he could see a red light in one of the bots eye sockets.
"It's your nerves, you'll be fine. I'll only set them to level two in the beginning."
"And how many levels are there?"
"Currently there are ten difficulty levels planned, though the only one that is usable is the basic humanoid combat bot which is difficulties one through three, for singular combat that is." She explained to him
"And how strong is a level two bot?"
"About as strong as Cardin from what I've seen." She admitted "So, not that difficult. Though you won't be able to use your 'nutcracker' on them." She giggled
"Hey! I had no weapon, and my punches did jack all!" his voice taking on a defiant tone as he retorted to the giggling Rose.
"Right, that's it" she said with a knowing smile "Anyways, take this. I took the liberty of getting you a few sets of exercise clothing, they're from another friend of mine she's quite famous in the fashion circles, her daughter's actually a second year at Beacon." She handed Arthur a duffle bag which he laid on the ground and inspected the contents within.
"Compression… clothing?" he questioned holding up a pair of black skin-tight lycra pants with bright red fabric along the seams and wrapping around the lower part of the calf, this accentuated with a hexagonal pattern along the majority of the fabric. This same pattern was used for the long-sleeved compression top with the red fabric wrapping around the arm.
"Yeah, my friends daughter is working on a new set of sports-wear for her catalogue, and her mother told me she was looking for some testers so I went to talk to her during lunch and she immediately offered to let you have them for free so long as you send her a report on them and model for a few photo-shoots wearing them, she is willing to pay you if she likes your figure enough. So you're welcome, I may have just gotten you a job." Summer explained
"Wait. What!? A photo-shoot!? Summer! I…" Arthur tried to argue
"Haha… no, you are doing it, I'm not giving you a choice. It's the least you can do considering she even offered to design your wardrobe for you. Plus, new people are good for you." She interrupted thoroughly shutting Arthur down "You're probably someone who would rather pay for it all aren't you?" she asked getting a nod from Arthur, "Cool, because you're paying her by being her test subject and model. Now go get dressed, I want to start your training." She ordered
Picking up the duffle bag Arthur slung it on his shoulder and looked around for the training rooms eventually seeing them on the other side of the hall with the bathrooms separating the girls side and the boys side from each other.

"Looking good, comfy enough?" Summer asked as she huffed in approval at Arthurs new outfit.
"It's comfy… to comfy. How did you get the size correct? I don't remember anyone taking my measurements" he said tracing his hands over the fabric along his arms while bending his arms and legs to test the elasticity.
"I showed her a picture of you and she immediately knew what to get you. I swear, that family is scary when it comes to clothing…" she mumbled
"Also, how did you get this done so fast? It hasn't even been three hours since we separated for lunch. You couldn't have gotten this all prepared so quickly, especially the gym, this would take weeks to plan." Arthur asked looking around at the clearly very expensive and expansive gym.
"I was intending on taking Yang and Ruby's team here, so I just changed the plans with him and he was happy with it. Oh, I should mention, when we start playing with the bots he and his team will be coming to run the diagnostics on the fights."
"I'm starting to feel like I'm a test subject and not a pupil" he deadpanned.
"Pfft... That's just your imagination. Hahaha…" Summer waved the accusation away with a laugh that died down to her scratching her cheek as she turned her head away. "Anyways, more talk later. Training time has begun." He voice turned serious forcing Arthur to stand straight due to the pressure she exuded.
"First things first, stamina training. There's the track, run. I will tell you when to stop." She pointed at the track while Arthur didn't move "NOW!" and he was off.

The first twenty minutes of the training went well; Arthur was capable of keeping a steady pace throughout the entire twenty minute frame. But after that he started slowing down as his lungs started begging for air. As a result his pace dropped and he began to slow to a walk.
Yet Summer was not one to allow slacking as every time Arthur slowed down and was about stop she would appear behind him and hit the back of his knees with a wooden sword. Effectively knocking him to the ground as his knees buckled in on themselves. And yet every time he fell Summer would stand above him and order him to continue with an expression of pure murder on her face.
After one hour of constant running Arthur was immediately told to go through multiple reps of squats, push-ups, jumping jacks, curls and many more exercises, also never getting a chance to rest. His body lasted all of ten minutes doing this before his muscles collapsed along with him to the floor.
"I can't feel anything…" Arthur whined from his sweat pool on the floor.
"Awww, get up. You still have another twenty reps each to go, then it's back to the track for another hour." Summer's inner drill sergeant ordered.
"I can't even feel my fingers…" he whimpered
Letting out a sigh Summer pulled out her scroll as she called someone "Pit, bring in the chamber… What? What do you mean the safety measures aren't ready?" she pinched the bridge of her nose "Fine, just bring the safest option... Hmm? Yeah, he's here... Yes, he's still alive, his head is moving and his eyes are open… No, it's only been an hour since we began. What do you mean I worked him too hard? Ruby and Yang could handle this…" her voice faltering before taking her drill seargent tone again "Feel free to join him in the training then... Oh, now you're quite... Just bring in whatever you can so we can continue… thanks, see you then. Later!" and she hung up with a happy tone, belying her previous tone.
"W-what was that about safety measures?" Arthur asked as he attempted to tilt his head in Summers direction while pushing his body up with shaky arms.
"Nothing you need to worry about, you'll be fine…" she turned her head away from him avoiding his eyes.
"Summer, what have you done? What is the chamber!?" he begged fearfully. His head bolting to the side as he heard a loud engine sound as a shutter on the side of the gym slowly opened revealing a tall, muscular man wearing green cargo pants and dark blue tank top, his skin was a tan olive. His face was square and sharp with deep green eyes and red spiky hair.
"Summer!" the man called out as he ran up to Summer and gave her a tight hug "It's been too long. This the kid?" he asked.
"Yep, Pit met Arthur, Arthur met Pitaya Star, otherwise known as Pit. He's the owner of the building." She introduced the two.
"I would shake your hand, but I can't feel it. So hi, as Summer said, I'm Arthur. Please tell me this Chamber thing isn't life threatening." He said from his puddle of sweat.
"Yo, as Sums just said, I'm Pitaya, please call me Pit, and no worries about that, Summer's worse than a drill sergeant when it comes to training others, you should have seen her team during the first week of Beacon. Her team was dead, D.E.A.D, dead. They were all broken and missed the next week of lessons and after that she was forbidden from ever touching their training schedule again." He said getting a "Wha!?" from Summer.
"H-hey! I thought we made a deal to never speak about that!"
"That was before you got a new victim. Anyways, the Chambers in there so just toss him in there and give it ten minutes and he should be back up." Pit said pointing to a large metal chamber with a small circular window at head height. "This is for you" he handed Summer a small remote "Press this button to open it" Summer pressed it causing the chamber to release steam from the hatch which lifted itself from the base revealing a neon blue gel bed with the rough shape of a human body creased into it with the arms and legs splayed out.
'that, is not going to help me! That's a bloody death-trap!' he screamed in his head, his eyes wide open.
"This button closes it, and this button activates the chamber and starts the healing process, it's automatically set for ten minutes, any longer and his muscles might fall off."
"Wait, What!?" Arthur cried out, being completely ignored by them both.
"Though you won't be able to get more than ten minutes out of it, it's technically not ready for testing. So tell no one you tested it, that would be bad for me. Now, you get him into that and I'll get to my technicians and keep an eye on his vitals. Good luck kid, you'll need it." he said as he walked towards the chamber room "I'll see you later Sums, try to keep him alive."
"Got it, he'll be fine, he's stronger than he looks. Though he does have a tendency of getting injured…" she admitted while looking at Arthur who was trying to wriggle himself away but failing miserably "Later" she waved to Pit.
"Arthur, and where do you think you're going?" A cruel smile formed on her face.
"I don't want to die!" Arthur screamed in fear his body soon disappearing in a flurry of petals.
