Marquis pov

I have been protecting sir Gabrielle since he took over the company years ago, and it's not been an easy journey as people try to eliminate it all the time. But he has been successful in dealing with them, my boss is the type who is emotional but ruthless when it comes to those he loves

Aside from his brother Mrs. Arielle Gabrielle adsence is the only person I have seen him care so much about, I don't take my job lightly for I know at anytime his enemies will be alerted and will want to do away with his wife which he won't let that happen

I have been following her in the dark since the boss left for France and so far things have not been the best… miss peal is after her life and sir's mother is no different at all.

Mart and Fred are doing a great job but it's not enough to protect her… I have been following them all around but today seems to be different… a black Benz has been trailing them ever since they left the villa for school.

I signal Fred but he does not respond. I followed the car after he left the supermarket and I noticed the trailing car was still there. I called for backup not less than 10minutes I could see Fred and mart pushing the boss lady out of the car,

I know they did that to save her but that was not the wisest decision to take, it only alerted the enemy and played them right into the hands of the enemy's trap. the enemy must have a backup plan and if my guess is right everything will take place in the villa, not on the streets

For there are more inside enemies than outside.

``Something is not right"

I told myself as I drove behind the black Benz making sure not to get spotted, I put on another call or immediate dispatch of 4 agents three men will be enough to blend in with the others and since they wear masks it will be more than okay to cam flash them.

I gave up following the boss lady because I know she will head straight to the villa. Since the enemy seems to come from inside, I needed to save Mart and Fred to gather enough information to save the boss lady from future possible issues like this from the same person.

I took in three of the said mysterious men and the rest were killed making sure no one escaped. After interrogating them only one spoke out the rest remained silent

'How loyal'

I thought to myself as I give instructions to keep them alive still the boss comes back

Mart and Fred were almost unconscious and needed urgent medical attention so I took them back to the base and after making sure they were found I left for the villa.

On arrival with three of my men… one agent dressed like us suddenly rush up to us, I was prepared to fire but held back when he asked after me worriedly

"Sam how are you? and how was the mission?" he asked and without waiting for my reply he continued

" Peal is not in a good mood, the target came back to the villa as expected but where have you been, you got us all worried. You know you are the youngest and the most intelligent amongst our squad we can't afford to lose you, so take care of yourself when you're out okay "

" I'm sorry I made you all worried. By the way, what happened in my absence? I asked trying to make him spill out some information

He hits me on the shoulder as he walks away and I notice miss peal walk up to me… I gently bow as I present my excuse

" am sorry miss, I lost 2 members of the squad so I had to take care of their crops before coming back reasons for my absence"

" you did a great job but the task is not yet complete follow me"

She demanded and I obeyed, leaving the others to blend in.

Once we walked in, I noticed the boss lady being dragged by the hair as she cried out in pain. My blood boiled seeing the scene displayed before me but there was nothing I could do. I have to keep my sentiment intact to avoid making any mistakes.

It's been two days since the lady regained consciousness, we have been asked to assemble in the secret room

"The room where the boss lady is been locked"

Sir's mother has gone to the old mansion thus the reason peal has so many guts to do shitty things. Despite Mrs. Adsence's hate for the boss lady, she will never have the intention to kill her, and also am sure she will not marry her son to someone like pearl if she knew about her true nature. BUT PEAL…

She is a bitch, who wears the mask of a saint. I know sir will believe me when I tell him who is behind everything but what about his family? How will he convince them?

These thoughts keep me restless and I think of possible ways to save the boss lady

As we followed the other and waited for the arrival of the peal in the secret room, I took a couple of glances at the boss lady, and truth be told her state looked so horrible… she looked weak and vulnerable at this time, all I need is for her to hang on just for a little while….. I will save her.

Peal walked in and without further delay she asked for the boss lady to be carried and put into a tank filled with water, the volume of water gradually increased and finally the boss lady drowned in it.
