Chapter 2 - Entrance Exam pt. 2

Wow, this place is massive, how the hell is this just for a school it's the size of a real city! However, before I could even think about the size of the city let alone double check my gear Present Mic's voice came.

"AND BEGIN!"

Wait what?

It took a few seconds before people realized that the exam started but once it kicked in everyone started running into the city, quirks going off left and right mine being one of them. I activated the runes I wrote on my shoes that were marked with increase speed and boost, this enabled me to run faster for longer as well as giving me an extra short boost of speed if needed. 

After a minute of looking, I found a group of robots of various point values, I ran over quickly using my boost and using my support item my dad gave me as a gift this year which were cards. Yes, they may be just blank playing cards, but my dad has been teaching me while playing with me on the art of card throwing since I asked him how as a little girl and written on those cards are my runic script. Because his quirk revolves around throwing it was something I always saw him playing and training with and as any daughter would do, I wanted to bond with him and once I got the hang of it, after months of failure it was fun. I got more accurate and could get some decent range, nowhere near my dad's but I can accurately throw a card about 5 meters if the wind is right. using the cards marked with increase gravity upon contact and electrocute upon contact I threw them at each robot. I was able to destroy 4 robots in mere seconds.

"Great now on to the next." 

After my first villain robot defeat, I was beaming with my toothy grin I got from my dad as I ran through the side streets to find any robots that haven't been delt with. Through the next few minutes, I both found and destroyed a few more robots some even with the help of an invisible girl who I ran into by accident. She was pretty nice about it, and she helped me take down a higher point robot.

"Thoom!!"

A massive sound rang out from the city center near my location. After exiting my side alley, I saw it, the zero pointer. 

"What the fuck... it's massive, EVERYONE get out of here run!!!" 

I yelled at anyone near me who were frozen from the giant 15-meter zero-point robot. As I started to run behind the rest of the examinees, I heard the sound of metal being crushed along with a yell.

"SMAASH!!!!!"

By the time looked back both the giant robot and the green haired kid were falling to the ground.

"Oh no I'm not gunna make it, can't save him"

These thoughts crossed my mind as I turned around and ran towards where he was falling. But before I could reach him and before he hit the ground another girl slapped his face causing him to float with her. I was incredibly impressed by that until I saw her puke and him falling a meter to the ground, it kinda ruined the save from a cool point of view in my opinion.

"Hey, are you two okay!?" I asked the two. The puking floaty girl gave me thumbs up but the boy kept crawling muttering something.

"Just...One...Point...!"

He kept muttering that over and over tears falling down his face with a look of pain and desperation and determination mixed in, from what I could tell both his legs and one arm looked broken, I headed to him to try and get him to stop moving, I couldn't believe he didn't already get a point, so I blocked that from my mind, and I just tried to stabilize him. I took out a set of green cards I kept in my back pocket and started using them on him. 'Pain relieve 2', 'Align broken bones', 'Heal skin 1'. Unfortunately, I can't heal his bones, but I can at least help with the pain, align the broken bones and help heal the skin to stop bleeding. He just kept muttering those three words though.

"Hey kid stop moving, I have helped with the pain and re-aligned your broken bones but if you move around you're gunna hurt yourself more!"

"Just...One..." But before he could finish

"EERRRRRRR" 

"IT'S ALL OVER EVEERYONE!!!

The test was over, and while I was happy and confident in passing the look of shame, shock and disappointment on the green haired kids' face put a lump in my throat. I really hope he miss-counted and did indeed get at least one point.

     I could hear comments from some of the kids that came back over to us, some muttering in shock at what the green haired kid did by breaking his bones in one attack, some were impressed he took down the giant robot in one attack. I don't know if he didn't realize it was a zero pointer or what but based on how the floaty girl has an injured ankle and was closer to him than me, I can only guess that he might have done it to save her. I guess I'll never know, I doubt I'll see him again to ask.

"SMOOCH"

I must have zoned out because next thing I knew some old lady kissed both the floaty girl and green haired kid, I was shocked, especially when the injuries healed much better than my runes could. I overheard some French sounding dude mention that her name was Recovery Girl, and that she is the backbone of UA as she possesses a super healing quirk. She went up and healed several kids' injuries and just smiled at me while walking to other parts of the city.

"Well now it's just the interview."

As we left the mock town, we were all given appointment times today on when our interviews were, until then were free to change, shower or enjoy the complimentary lunch. I chose the shower. I may be a hero in training, but I am still a girl first and I like to smell nice.

After my shower with way too many other girls I seriously thought, I was going to get a nosebleed from all of them... wow. I changed back into my street clothes. As I sat waiting for my appointment time to come around, I noticed another girl waiting someone I recognized, well I mean I assume it's the same girl after all she is invisible.

"Hey invisible girl I'm not sure if you remember me but I bumped into you in the mock city."

After a few seconds of realization, she jumped up and down with a perky response.

"Oh, it's you, it's so good to see you, thanks for the help with that high point robot I think that helped me get to a safe spot in points. I'm Toru Hagakure by the way."

"It's nice to meet you Hagakure-chan I'm Adeline Kobayashi, please call me Adeline, Adi, Kobayashi, whatever you find easier. Also of course you were a good help with robot yourself."

"Oh, Adeline that's a unique name where are you from, you look Japanese in your face, but the hair and eyes and name say otherwise? Oh and in that case please call me Toru."

"Well Toru My dad is American and I actually just moved to Japan from America recently, my mom is Japanese, and she thought it was a good time to move here, I was supper happy from that because I got to go here!"

As I give her a toothy grin, I realize it was almost my time for the interview.

"Oh, gotta go to my interview Toru, quick her is my number text me sometime, bye!!"

With that I left the invisible girl and went off running to the last test to see if I get to go to my dream school.
