Ascension Quest.

After sometime, which was 17 minutes and 57 second, 58 now. The class was full and everyone was either laughing and talking or looking at the chunin instructor who sat at the front.

After a minute or so, the chunin who was at the entrance, entered the class and a list to the chunin instructor.

When the chunin instructor took it, he nodded at the chunin who came and stood in front of the class and looked at us with a smile as the other chunin left.

He coughed in his hands and started speaking, "Hello everyone! My name is Iruka Umino, a chunin of our nation, Konohagakure. I will be your teacher here at the academy for the next 6 years and prepare you to be great shinobis of the Leaf village. Now, I'll be taking the attendance and then we will introduce ourselves to each other." He finished as he sat down and took a quill in his hands and started calling our names one by one.

I of course, zoned out.

After sometime, I heard my name being called.

"Kai Nara?"

I looked at Iruka and said, "Here."

I again zoned out and waited until the attendance ended.

After that, Iruka called everyone to the front and asked them to introduce themselves to the class.

I fell asleep midway and i felt Sasuke shaking me awake, "Come on Kai, it's your turn." He said.

I looked up and rubbed my eyes as I looked at Iruka who looked at me with a expectant and annoyed look.

I got up and walked to the front.

I started introducing myself, "My name is Kai, Kai Nara. I don't particularly like or dislike anythinf except for loud weaklings. I would rather not share my hobbies with you and as for my dreams, I would rather not share that with you aswell."

Iruka looked at me with a annoyed and irritated look.

Suddenly, a girl with a comically large forehead and pink hair spoke up, "But sensei.... The only thing we learned was his name."

She too had become one of my many fangirls like Sasuke had.

I stared at her forehead, absolutely mindblown by the sheer size, "What a gigantic forehead...." I said looking at her.

Everyone in the class started laughing and the girl covered her forehead and started lying.

Iruka glared at me and said, "Now, that wasn't very nice of you, Kai. Go to your seat and apologize to her after we are done."

Pfft, as if I would apologize to her.

I returned to my seat and after sometime, the introduction ended and Iruka stood up and announced, "Now that we have the introductions out of the way. I will now distribute the books and the timetable which we will use for the rest of the year."

With that, he opened the cupboard and took out a bundle of books and papers and started calling us to the front and giving everyone the books and the time table.

After everyone got their books, Iruka stood up and said, "This will be it for today. We will start our course from tommorow. You all are now officially ninja academy students. You can go now."

With that, everyone started packing up their bags and started to leave, I too, did the same and started to leave with Shika and Sasuke until Iruka stopped me.

"You have to write a apology to Sakura." He said in a strict tone.

I looked at him with a irritated look and sighed and I got a idea and quickly took out a pen and a paper and started writing on it.

After I finished writing, I folded it and gave it to Iruka, "Please dont open it before giving it to Sakura, Sensei."

With that, I left, catching up with Sasuke and Shika.

Sasuke looked at me and said, "Hey Kai! Do you wanna come and train with me later today?" He asked eagerly.

I was about to say yes until-

"Nah, not today, Sasuke. I am busy. But I'll come and train with you tommorow." I said.

For a moment, Sasuke's look downed but he quickly nodded and turned towards the direction of the Uchiha district and said, "Well then, Cya!" With that, he left.

Shika looked at me and asked, "What are you gonna do? I don't think Mom will be happy if you don't come with me to our house today. She was pretty insistent that you spend your day with us."

"Don't worry. I'll just be like 20 or 30 minutes late. I wanna have a look around the training ground and I wanted try out this ramen for a while." I said to Shika as I turned to the path that led to the training grounds.

Shukamaru sighed and mumbled "Troublesome" Before leaving.

- Iruka POV -

I looked at the folded piece of paper in my hands and sighed.

That Kai didn't seem too bad, although he is quiet blunt, he isn't a bad kid.

I looked at Sakura and saw that she was about to leave and stopped her, "Sakura! Wait!"

I walked up to her and handed her the letter, "Here, have this."

She looked at the letter with a confused expression and unfolded it and started reading it.

After she finished reading it, she started crying, loudly.

I got worried and asked her, "Sakura, Why are you crying?!"

She looked at me and started crying even more and said, "Why would you write this about me, Sensei? You are so mean!"

With that, I took the letter from her and started reading it.
