Adopted children

"We just didn't find each other compatible. You know how it is. I am abroad or up on official work most of the time while he needs somebody who can help him out and have children with him, you get what I am trying to say?", Niharika replied.

"Just this?", Jinendra didn't accept it.

"He adopted two children recently and I don't want to have any responsibility right now. You can understand right? How children needs to be looked after and both the children are too young and needs constant care and love. I am not in a position to take him on that. We had quite a big argument over this. He said ha had already turned 30, his friends' children are all going to school now while he doesn't even have one to name even. I didn't want to have children and he didn't want to continue waiting anymore. So he adopted 2 children from his friend and I was too enraged and we decided to split after a lot of arguments and dissatisfaction", she said.

The story was all same for whether her or Suyash's parents. Ofcourse his parents knew whose children they were unlike her's. But if they ever get to know, they would be in too much grief and anger and Niharika can't let that happen. First of all the whole thing was a drama so Suyash has no need to take blame when everything was crystal clear. Nor can she let her parents know about her life reality because they won't be able to accept it.

"By the way, though we have split, we don't feel that there is any problem in remaining acquaintances, after all it is all about our views and perspectives. It is normal for us to have different opinions. And moreover his family was really good to me. They gave me all the freedom and respect and love, so I hope you guys won't come out to be to strong", Niharika continued, albeit a nervousness could be seen in her stature this time.

None of the people present could say anything anymore anyway. They had already done away with divorce, and their child didn't even inform. They felt hurt that she didn't even find them. They wanted her to ask them for their support in this matter but on contrary their child took it too well, so well that their heart ached. How could she have understood all this at such young age. One could just see that she has gone through all vicissitudes of life, otherwise to have such attitude- Sigh.

They nodded at her. Seeing that she didn't feel much from divorce, they understood that the relationship wasn't much serious. It seems their relationship have always been a superficially good relationship but didn't take any serious breakthroughs. Both parents were feeling complex at this moment.

As they were talking, suddenly a child's voice came.

"Bhoji!" (title for father's sister)

"My Niru, come to bhoji", said Niharika. The child ran to her arms and Niharika picked her up and carried her high.

The child giggled. She had been not in much contact with her father's sister but her bhoji would always give in to all her requests. And her father too won't speak anything to her or scold her if her bhoji said yes. She was simply the best person to bring demands upto, as nobody in their house has guts to go against her bhoji. That's why Nirvana loved whenever her bhoji came. She had ultimate protection with her.

Niharika didn't remain anymore in the room and simply carried the child away. Both aunt and niece happily went to restaurant while chatting happily. Since Niharika went out, Jinendra subconsciously followed her. Both parents too followed their children.
