Breathe

My driver usually comes to pick me up late so I get to spend some time after classes. I have a favorite spot where I like to go and relax. Today as I sat there forgetting everything going on in my life and just breathing it felt.....nice in a way. I wished someone was there with me. Someone to share the moment with. As pathetic as it sounds the person I first thought of was Jackson. Jackson and I had been through a lot together and it was hard losing him. Especially because after everything he asked to be friends but I declined. I told him it's because what he told me during the fight really hurt which it did but that's not the reason.....the reason is that I'm afraid that I will fall for him again and I don't want to do that. I keep telling myself I deserve better but does he? All of a sudden I saw him coming. He was walking with his friend. "It is really true? You and Mina were in a relationship??" his friend asked him. "Anyway I think the post was kinda accurate I mean Mina is annoying" He added. I sighed. I left before I could hear a reply from Jackson like "I agree" or "I know right". As I was walking down the hallway I saw Adrien. Adrien was a new student know just joined. He was a nice guy and we got to chatting in English class. He was the only one who hadn't mentioned the post yet. "Hey Mina, you haven't left yet it's pretty late," he said in his deep voice. "Oh yeah my driver usually comes late." Jackson walked into the hallway and stopped. He looked between me and Adrien with a confused look. For some reason ever since I started talking to Adrien I feel as if Jackson is looking. He couldn't be jealous, right? If he liked me in the first place we wouldn't have broken up... "Well, I'll see you tomorrow," I said shooting Adrian a small smile.

*THE NEXT DAY*

I was still confused as to who could have written the post. Melissa and her friends were snickering every time they saw me but I didn't get bothered by it. I stopped caring about them a long time ago. I tried putting my thoughts together as to who knew about my and Jackson's relationship. Sara, Anna, Zee, Niki. What am I thinking they would never write that. Just then the teacher asked me to come with her. Shit, I forgot. If it was posted in the school group then the teachers and principal also saw it. "Well, Mina I am sure you are aware of the post that was written about you. We are here to discuss that." My teacher said with a look I couldn't really figure out. "Yes I am aware and I'm sure you don't believe in such pranks and rumors," I said hoping they will believe that it was a false rumor. "Yes, of course, we're not here to punish you. Whether that rumor is true or not, we first need to find out who wrote it. It was highly inappropriate and disrespectful to write such words." my teacher said with a much calmer look. As I was walking out my friends ran to me asking what had happened, however at that time their voices were a blur as all i could think about is
