As Raizel descended to the ground floor, he anticipated that what he was searching for would be there. Walking through the tunnel leading to a container area, he detected a scent that annoyed him slightly. Following the footsteps he heard, Raizel expected to encounter furry creatures resembling wolves. However, what appeared were creatures that were hairless and skinnier in appearance, causing Raizel to purse his lips in disdain. "They are not lycans; they are tunnel rats," he thought.
The lycans, drawn by Raizel's distinct scent, surrounded him from both sides in the tunnel. Not wanting to waste time on them, Raizel decided to let them fight amongst themselves. As the lycans prepared to charge at him, Raizel's eyes briefly glowed red. Soon, the lycans who had initially targeted Raizel turned to attack the ones who had arrived later, resulting in a bloody skirmish. Raizel waited for a moment, watching their dog-like fight, before continuing on his path.
After a while, Raizel reached a dead end with a giant circular door that seemed to contain something significant. Murmuring "Subject 2," Raizel's eyes began to glow red. The lock in front of him started to crumble, triggering alarms throughout the tunnel. Inside, Eve transformed into her hybrid form, fearing the worst. She was aware of how strong the lock was, and witnessing it being destroyed was unexpected.
As the door fell with a thud, Eve peered cautiously towards the entrance to see who had caused the disturbance. What she saw were red eyes, causing her to grow nervous. Eve bared her teeth, ready to fend off any approaching threat. Annoyed by the dust and smoke, Raizel waved his hand, clearing the air and revealing himself.
Slowly, Raizel stepped inside the container, where Eve was seething with teeth directed towards him. He glanced towards a camera in the corner, noticing a red ray emanating from it. With a wave of his hand, the camera crumbled to pieces. Sensing an opportunity, Eve managed to escape through the exit, and Raizel allowed it to happen as he expected.
While Eve made an effort to run as fast as she could, she was intercepted halfway by a low-level lycan who had survived the bloody skirmish moments ago. Despite managing to inflict some damage on Eve, the injured lycan was no match for her hybrid form, and she quickly tore apart its jaw, casting it aside.
As Eve continued to run, holding her bleeding side, she heard faint footsteps approaching. To her surprise, she encountered Quint Lane, an enhanced lycan, who appeared to be injured and fleeing from something. Quint bared his fangs at Eve as she took on her hybrid form. As he attempted to claw at her, Eve maneuvered away, creating distance between them.
Suddenly, Quint noticed a lone figure approaching Eve from behind. He warned her, "You are not strong enough to deal with him." Terrified by the approaching figure, Eve found herself unable to maintain her hybrid form for some unknown reason.
As Raizel continued to advance towards Quint, the lycan roared and charged at him. However, halfway through his attack, Quint fell to the ground, feeling an unknown weight pushing him down. He struggled to rise, but his knee began to bleed, and he found himself unable to move.
Approaching Quint with a casual demeanor, Raizel remarked without looking into his eyes, "You are too big." As Quint's lycan transformation began to fade, replaced by human form, fear filled his gaze as he raised his head to meet Raizel's glowing red eyes. With a nonchalant expression, Raizel simply stated, "Now it's better.".
Meanwhile, Frankenstein, now covered in the blood of Lycans, approached from behind Quint, bowing before Raizel as he apologized, "Forgive me, Master, I let a rat escape.".
Raizel remained silent in response as he touched the blood on Quint's face, he spoke. "Too bad, you are after power. In the end, what awaits you is death." Then droplets of blood began to form and float around him, creating an uneasy spectacle. The blood started dancing around Raizel and Quint, forming a whirlpool around the terrified Lycan.
Frankenstein took a few steps back, sensing the intensity of the situation, while Quint looked around in panic as the scent of his own blood filled the air. Overwhelmed with fear, Quint began to cry out, his struggles becoming increasingly desperate. Despite his efforts, he found himself unable to break free from the whirlpool of blood that surrounded him.
Eve, watching from Raizel's back, was horrified by the sight happening before her. Instinctively, she began to crawl back, only to find herself halted halfway by an invisible barrier, trapping her within Raizel's presence.
