(Night, after Valerie received the task)

(Valerie Hart's POV)

How should I approach this task? My mind is totally blank and I can't think of a way which can be helpful to get this task done without getting suspected by Bryce. Maybe tomorrow when everyone will be busy at the party I should try. If I can get this task done I'll be taking a little step ahead in my revenge.

It's been a while I still have no news on Bree. Why isn't she back yet?! Or maybe she is back but she is just confused about why I am not there. I was too caught up in my own problems that I forgot about my office and Bree both. I think dropping Anthony another excuse will be okay. I'll do that later. I need to check up on Bree for now.

[Valerie dials Bree's number.]

'The number you are trying to dial is either invalid or out of network coverage. Please try again later.'

What on earth is going on with her?! It's been more than 15 days at this point, still it's saying not reachable. Is there something more serious going on with her? Should I just go back to NYC and search for her? But then what will happen to my revenge and all this mess?!

UGH! My head hurts because of too much thinking. My life is already a mess and now my one-n-only friend is missing. I don't know what I should do.

Think Valerie think! Get rid of those ways useless thoughts and think about what can be actually good to do now.

First, I'll concentrate on getting my task done then, I'll ask Bryce for letting me go back to NYC with some excuse and try searching for that person and Bree.

Sorry Bree for being selfish, but right now my first priority is my revenge. Be safe until I can find you. Please don't get hurt.

[Somewhere in a dark room that person is sitting in front of a lit computer screen. Their inner voice can be heard.]

'Bryce I've to keep you busy with Opm-54-msx. If you pay too much attention to her now she might mess up a lot of things. It took me three years to gather intel on the Simpleton group and now I can't let anyone mess up my plans.'

[They type a mail and sent it. A low sound of their laugh can be heard.]

'Search for the sender Bryce. Search as intensely as you can. You won't be able to trace this person. Keep this in mind there will always be someone smarter than you. I've planned every single thing since that day. You are bound to face your downfall in my hands. I'll let the world know how the heir of the Simpleton group thinks killing humans is as same as killing ants. Just you wait obnoxious jerk!'

(Bryce Carter's POV)

It's already been two days yet everything is soo quiet. Why isn't she making a fuss out of anything? She needs to resist in order to make everything more fun. I expected her to be against the idea of announcing our engagement tomorrow, at the party, but she even agreed to that. I think I need to pay her a visit before tomorrow's party. I don't want that little feisty kitty to ruin my party tomorrow.

[Bryce receives a mail which breaks his thought chain.]

"Dear Debtor,

What do you think? Ready to deposit the amount I told you? I think you have realized that you can't win against me with that little brain of yours. Don't waste my time or I'll keep raising the price.

your demanding Creditor."

[A photo is attached with the mail showing a report beside which is that same ampul can be seen.]

What?! How dare you rat call me your debtor?! And what my brain is small?! I CAN'T FIND YOU?! I think you have to face your doom before you were supposed to. Do you even know what I can do to you? Just a day more and then you will dead!

I should pay attention to my little feisty kitty for or she will try to ruin to tomorrow's party. No matter what, tomorrow I'll be announcing our engagement!

[As usual Valerie is laying down on the bed and her thoughts are running wild. Bryce enters the room without even knocking and sees her in that position.]

'Hunn, how come you are still laying down? It's time for us to go and choose our dresses for tomorrow's party.'

[Valerie gets up hearing Bryce's words.]

'Sorry, I forgot. You go first, I'll go after you.'

Wow you are not even trying to say no. Why? I need to know what is going on inside that brain. It's good if you have started to understand your situation better but if it's something else, this time I have to punish you for trying to get into my way. I have to stay alert or you might try something silly.

'Val, why are you so quiet these days? We are back together after two whole years, how come you are not even a bit excited?'

'You are really shameless aren't you?'

Okay, bingo! You were just trying to play along and you definitely have not come to your senses.

'Wow, really? I thought I was being a real gentleman to you.'

'After what happened 3 years ago that night, you want me to love you back? You want me to be excited about being with you?? I HATE YOU WITH ALL MY SOUL AND I'M NOT GOING TO FORGIVE YOU! NEVER!'

Watching you loose your temper like this is really cute.

'Hunn, don't shout that loudly or you will starin your vocal chord.'

'You killed my mom in front of my eyes! And now you want me to have a happily ever after relationship with you?!'

[Valerie grabs Bryce by his collar as she is bawling her eyes out.]

'Hunn, what do you think you are doing?'

Val looks like you have gained quite a bit of attitude.

'You are nothing but a murderer to me! Just because I'm complying to your requests doesn't mean I'm in love with you.'

'Hunn, you were my accomplice that night still you think you can blame me for a stranger's death?'

'Don't try to manipulate me I know what happened that night! I've gotten back my memories of that night!'

She should not be able to do that! I've to do something...
