Inside the living room

Tulip come face to face with her parents then her gaze fall on her grandfather. Her gaze keep shifting from her parents to her grandfather, trying to understand the situation.

"Mom...Dad what both of you doing here?" Tulip said looking at her parents various emotions bubbling inside her. She look at her grandfather to get some answer of her question.

Grandfather sigh, he look at Tulip trying to figure out how to answer her question. He shift his gaze towards his son and his daughter in law but seeing them awkwardly standing don't know how to get hold of the situation grandpa Anderson break the silence "Tulip your parents is ashamed of abandoning you without hearing the truth. They come to apologies."

Tulip eyes turn cold but her throat is burning with various emotions "Why...Why now...when I kept shouting I didn't do it ...I didn't do it why didn't you believed me mom and dad..." Tulip shift her gaze towards her mother "Do you know how much I needed you mother! do you know how difficult my pregnacy was! I was so scared what if something goes wrong and I lose my child. During those nine months I don't know what I have to do I needed my mother at that time."

Tulip voice started to break, so many things she had been kept piled up inside her, looking at both of them "It's always Daisy! both of you always care about what she felt, she liked, her emotions, her feeling. You never missed anything related to her because she was a perfect daughter which I wasn't. I never came up to your expectations so in the end you forgot that you had another child. But I just wanted a little bit of your time which you never give ....so why now" Tulip said, everything that she has been keeping inside her, she doesn't know when those tears started to fall from her eyes.

Mrs Anderson look at her daughter tears from her eyes, what her daughter said was completely true after all. She never acknowledge her as she used to with Daisy or rather her expectations become so high that she not only lost Tulip but in the end Daisy as well. She walk towards Tulip taking hold her hands "I'm sorry Tulip, I'm sorry. I failed to be your mother." Her voice break from crying, her face strain with tears.

Mr Anderson felt ashamed and guilty for not trusting her, for not giving his time. If only he spent some time with her in the past maybe those things never happened. His eyes become wet watching mother and daughter. He walk towards his wife and hold her shoulder, his gaze fall on Tulip, lump form in his throat "I'm sorry Tulip" this is all he could say, he doesn't have any justification for his past but he want to change this with his daughter. All both of them want is one chance.

Grandfather Anderson observing them the whole time. He stood up from his chair and walk towards Tulip "Tulip adults also make mistakes even if they are your parents but it's been 6 years Tulip. You need to move from your past then only you can have better future. Or else you always gonna get stuck in your past unavailable to move forward."

Little bun run towards his mother she. he saw her tears. Even though he is small but he understand the situation between adults "Mumma you always tells me to forgive if one apologies. Can't you forgive grandpa and grandma. And Mumma don't cry I don't like it when you cry". Tulip look at her son, sometimes children able to do those things which adults fail to understand.

Every word gets inside Tulip but her body become numb. She is deeply hurt and angry, but what her grandfather said is also right. She can't always stay in past, she needs to move forward but for that she needs to forgive "let's move forward mom and dad" saying she hugged her mother. She no longer wants to be in the cage of hate, anger, and loneliness, grudge. Life is too short to for holding grudge rather than wasting energy in holding grudge it's better to move forward.

After bidding goodbye to her parents Tulip walk towards her room but suddenly block by Sol. Tulip give him an irritated look "What now?"

"Tulip, I'm truly sorry" Sol said, an unknown emotion swirling inside his eyes.

Tulip freeze, she strangely look at him. He told her sorry many times but this is the first time she actually feel his sincerity behind sorry.

Sol grap her hand in his "I'm truly sorry Tulip. I can never imagine what you had gone through during those 6 years. I'm a coward Tulip for not accepting my responsibility. His first word, his first time, when he wanted something, his pocket money, his school admission I missed everything. I should be the one fulfilling his every need after all I'm his father. You are right Tulip I have no right demanding to be part of his life when I done nothing" his voice break.

Tulip cup his face and give him a genuine smile "You know little bun first word was dada not mama. Even though I carry him for 9 months" she complaining while pouting. Suddenly Sol hugged her and pressed a small kiss on her forehead. Tulip ears turn red "Tulip I not only want to be little bun good father but also a good husband for you" Sol said while hugging her.

Tulip didn't say anything but they also didn't break the hug.
