The meeting (1)

I teleported outside the capital's outer boundary because the whole capital was surrounded by Anti teleportation array and other defensive measures in order to prevent any attack on the city. It was more like an impenetrable fortress than city.

The Royal guards standing outside the gate sensing my presence opened the gates for me and sent the message to the main palace of my arrival.

It was quite a hassle to travel from outer wall to the main palace in flying vehicles which took half an hour but nothing can be done about it. I could reach faster by flying but it was the process everyone has to follow.

The flying vehicle was like a giant white egg, which used either mana crystal or Users own mana to fly from one place to another. It was faster and comfortable mode of travel at the speed which brock the sound barrier. It also helped in avoiding the accidents of Dragons crashing into each other while flying and fighting over it.

From outside people couldn't see who was inside the vehicle but from inside one can enjoy the scenery which no matter how many times I see always mesmerized me.

While traversing through outer wall I could see hundreds of thousands Dragons gathering outside the outer wall which was not allowed on normal days but today was special day, it was to see us depart to conquer the tower.

No matter how much i look at them I could not feel any emotion other than pity, they had forgotten our history and were trying to repeat the same mistake, of always following the strong no matter how much of a tyrant the other person is.

No point thinking about past, I will have enough time to reform them once I clean the trash sitting inside the castle.

Thinking about this looking outside the scenery soon I arrived at the inner wall and it felt like I have entered a completely different world, it was the area where important figures all over the dragon realm resided, this part was equipped with most advanced technology invented by dragons carefully installed to co-exist with nature.

Here resided the very important figures of dragon realm and some powerhouses making it the safest place in the whole dragon realm, in the history of dragon realm no one has ever been able to infiltrate this deep in the capital.

After another 15 minutes of journey and without anyone stopping me, I arrived at the (Core) area of the capital, 'The palace'.

Outside the palace wall my vehicle stopped and two escort guards were already standing there to greet me of course the moment I stepped foot in the outer wall my every moment was tracked, not that I care about it.

We walked through the huge Garden surrounding the palace where different kind of Fruit trees were standing, some of them my favorite's so I reached for one of the purple fruit and tried to take it but my hand was met with some resistance which was clearly not enough to stop my advance, I snatched the fruit by force and ate it, there were some array set to prevent theft and only authorized person could pluck them.

Of course this rare and valuable fruit wouldn't be just hanging around for anyone to take a bite from them, they were reserved for king and royalties but that was more of the reason I wanted to eat it.

Following two attendant we arrived inside the castle which was equipped with the best antiques, paintings and many relics hanging on the walls, which should have been in the treasury.

The palace was too majestic even for people who were obsessed with luxury, however it always felt something lacking to me.

The king lived alone in this huge palace, even his own daughter refused to live here due to the haunting environment of the castle; it was like a prison more than home for her.

Walking good distance of few minutes we arrived in front of huge golden door which was 25 meter high, it was the conference room where our meeting would be held. It was also the place where most of the secret and important mission details were allotted to us by king or AI.

After escorting me outside the conference room guards returned back to their duties.

I put my hand on the center of door where an array was inscribed and let some of my mana flow into the array and instantly the door started to shake and opened inwardly with a monotonous tone ringing in the ears of everyone who was present inside informing them of my arrival.

I had some doubts that AI would catch the mana of Beast's and retainer's I had brought with myself in space pocket but fortunately it didn't.

"Guardian Alex of the Void is entering the meeting Hall." Unfortunately this was the unique title bestowed upon me by the king, which I didn't like one bit. It was originally belonged to my father and after I had proved myself it was passed down to me.

It was the first thing I was going to change after I kill the king in the tower.

Other than me, there were many other leaders who had their own title such as the king himself was given title by his father Azmath the Destroyer, 1st leader Morris the Inferno, 2nd leader Veltos of Venom and so on.

The conference room was not fully occupied; only six leaders and other guardian was present, but I was sure king would definitely be bringing more power than what he was showing right now.

The leaders were not that big of a problem to deal with but the guardian was someone who had an annoying ability and I needed to deal with him personally.

But the thing bugging me was not the leaders or guardian present in the meeting hall but absent one. They would definitely be going to the facility to protect it and among them was the 5th leader the most annoying one to deal with. I just hope they can face the three leaders with their current strength.
